It's an amazing place. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Food is very good and all facilities are very nice. The only critism. The pool table needs a bit of tlc. The gym is very small and limited.

Stayed here for one night. The people working here are very friendly. The location is also very nice, especially if you like hiking in the summer or skiing or snowboarding in the winter. The hotel seems quite old and needs a renovation. Hotelroom is clean, view is nice and breakfast is also really good.

We arrived very early, but were able to get into our room right away which was much appreciated. Friendly staff. A large room and beautiful bathroom with both shower and tub. We booked like 10 double-bed rooms at the Hotel Ilmenauer Hof. So the reservation and cancellation of the room numbers were smooth as well as the check-in and check-out process. The rooms were all clean and kinda cozy, same as the bathrooms. What I didn't like was the keen of hearing of the dorms, as this could be kinda annoying. The breakfast was quite basic, but good as you just pay 6€ per breakfast...

The Ringberghotel high above Suhl is an impressive building, worth a visit just for its open location! Panoramic views, clean and functional rooms. The food tasted great, the service was friendly and polite. Despite the Corona requirements, the guest feels comfortable and is happy to return!

We had reserved a table at 7:30 p.m. Thirty minutes later, we received drinks and a welcome from the kitchen. The main course arrived around 8:30 p.m. and neither looked nor tasted as expected. The staff were obviously overwhelmed, too. I had aspic with fried potatoes that had been reheated at least five times, and everything was covered in tartar sauce.

Great hotel in historic building with a modern interior make this worth visit. Superbly friendly staff and classic local cuisine in a nice setting make this hotel a truly nice expérience. The historic city center is just a short walk and rewards the visitor with ancient sights.

Very convenient location, city center, easy to get to. I can only rate the restaurant. Waiting time was 30 minutes (full restaurant) and the menu is very small but nice. You can get your money's worth here. The food is in the average price range (10-20 €). The food was served warm and nicely presented. It was very tasty and you get full here. Suhl sounds like a good name for an evil wizard. The best hotel stay I've had in ages. Nothing fancy, but everything just worked as it should. You need your chip to work the lift. That slowed me down a minute but i am not a smart man.

Young boy, I am stranded here because I had a flat tire. Price performance is okay but not great. I don't know when my bathroom mirror was last cleaned in my room, but maybe too high standards for you who knows. When you took a shower there were still any names on the mirror that you could see about the condensation / steam that of course makes me think how clean the rest is ... One should definitely...

Wunderful short trip in the winterwunderland. We rented two of the holiday homes. They were very beautiful and clean with a lot of space for all our friends. We did some bowling in the sporthotel and it was no problem to rent a sledge for our baby. We can recommend this Hotel and the holiday homes to other guest's a lot.

In general, the stay was successful. The staff speaks little English. There was one incident at a children's attraction. The animator couldn't take control. Parents and grandparents took over and as a result my children were made to cry three times. It was sad.

I didn't stay here but I ate at the restaurant. It's in a removed location up in the hills which adds to the rustic of the charm. The staff were friendly but didn't speak English.
