Hotel Hahnmühle 1323 in Coburg

A unique and interesting spot housed in a beautifully preserved historic building. It has real character and charm — highly recommended!

I stayed here for one night. At first glance, the room looks clean, welcoming, and stylish. However, upon closer inspection, some minor flaws become apparent. What bothers one person might not bother another. Nevertheless, I don't think a worn-out chair belongs in a room, the sink is so cracked that it should be replaced, the baseboards should be secure, and a few other small things need attention. It's nice that you can make coffee and that a bottle of water is provided. Hot water comes out of the tap and shower immediately, and the mattress is comfortable. I didn't get to try breakfast because I had to leave very early. Everything was easily sorted out over the phone. 👍 Getting the room key was also straightforward, and they called immediately to check if everything went well and if I was satisfied. 😊 Otherwise, the building is very nice both inside and out, and you can easily head into the town center for a stroll.

Historic building - very spacious and well equipped room - very clean - no breakfast and no contact to any hotel staff feels a bit strange - hopefully not becoming a standard everywhere

Nice cozy renovated hotel. The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. All clean. Coffee maker in the room. Parking was right in front of the hotel.
The only negative was the wifi connection. It was a bit unstable, or not available in the evening.

A very nice Hotel in an old half-timbered house in the middle of the Coburg region, the old town, everything is top clean and well maintained, beautiful facilities, the Breakfast is also ok, what's not so great is there is no air conditioning in the rooms and throughout the Hotel, the WiFi could be because it is very slow
