We rented a small room but were moved to a better one because of some issue with the AC (in principle fixed the following day, but they let us stay in the bigger place the whole week). The new apartment was great: AC worked fine, had a table, fridge, spacious bathroom, a balcony where we could dry our clothes after going to the beach, and a washing machine. It was close to the beach and a supermarket. We had to walk a few minutes to go to the proper center, which is one of the reasons why I guess it was relatively cheap. We are not sure about the price of the apartment where we ended up staying (which was for up to 4 people), but I guess it is still cheap relative to other analogous options. The owner was also kind and suggested a great restaurant (Maros).

unacceptable wifi signal. not once was it working well in our rooms. we booked two rooms as a group and they couldn’t be more far away from each other. cleaners came every day but still seemed to leave hairs from the previous visitors on the bathroom floor which was getting filled with water everytime we showered due to the impractical shower all together. kinda close to the center but still not close enough. wouldn’t visit again.

DO NOT STAY HERE: from a dirty and mouldy room to a threatening and scary host. I am a solo female traveler and I had the worst nightmare experience here I’ve ever had. The bed sheets were stained and yellow in the middle with the odd hair, the pillows were either rock solid or so lumpy you could see it through the case. And the bathroom had hairs on the sink and dried wee on the toilet seat. Like they had forgotten to clean. Further more the air-con was mouldy and thus not usable. When I complained to the host about it being dirty when I arrived the night prior and mostly to mention the air con. I was then shouted at and called “a lier” over and over again. Before the host took me to show him (I had used wet wipes to make it useable so the dirt was no longer there but still obvious). I felt very unsafe as he screamed at me telling me I was a lier and that I “needed to be carful of what I said as I was by myself”. He proceeded to try take my passport off me and once I locked him out of the room he unlocked the door and came back in. This happened multiple times. He then proceeded to make me pay €100 for a €70 one night stay as I had to get out of there (supposed to be 2 nights). He took my passport details and tried to call the police and threatened to call the British embassy “to give me trouble at the boarder”. All as I complained about a room that was dirty and frankly un useable.

Cleaners in everyday which was good. Location is also great, beside the beach and close to the town! However, not soundproof at all, woken up at all hours in the morning and at night hearing people in the halls, didn’t sleep great. Electricity kept cutting out. Was left without water for a few hours one of the days. Cleaners came in on our last night sleeping there and left the glass door to our balcony open so mosquito’s got into our room and we were eaten alive on our last night staying here.

Our original room was double booked so we were given a different room which looked like a basement. The toilet & a few lights were broken & the room looked like it was scrambled together. However, the location is great & the owner speaks decent english. Also, for this low price you shouldn’t expect much.

Very poor service. They put us in the wrong room the first day and woke us up early the next morning because they had to put someone there, very unfriendly staff and the last day they came into the room inadvertently to tell us we had to leave.
Definitely wouldn't stay again.

Amazing hotel really clean and affordable. It's close to the center, the beach and the super market. Our stay there was incredible and the owner is always willing to help.
