Stayed for 5 days in July of 2016. It's located over a main road of the island, but it's not close to Fira (at least not a walking distance). At the time of my stay they offered a shuttle van to Fira every hour. The breakfast options were amazing, I will never forget their Greek Coffee. The view and sunset is what they are famous for. Expensive, but totally worth it in my opinion.

For my second night, there was flushing water sound every hour from mid night, each time last for 10 min, make me awake whole night. I complain this to the manerger in the morning, instead of apologize, he said, why did you call as, we will move you to another room. Not recomendee . It’s normal resort nothing special you even not feeling you are in Santorini because the location is far away and you need car to go to the center. Taxi is very expensive there. Great breakfast and lunch served at our house. Spotlessly clean in and around the houses. Lovely view of Oia and Fira and all the cruise ships. Great to stay in Akrotiri after some busy days in Oia. The rooms are beautifully built into the side of the mountain overlooking the sea. Breakfast was served to our private villa every morning and it was lovely to eat fresh pastry and custom ordered eggs while looking across at the mountains and ocean. The staff was available at all times and booked us fun restaurant reservations as well as a catamaran trip. Fantastic!

The room was adequate, the food wasn’t bad although the staff had nothing better to do but make things up that it’s unsafe for us to drink or eat around the pool area unless food or drinks were purchased onsite. The view from the room is just fantastic. Inside room jacuzzi is pretty cool! Don't forget to switch off the pump for a silent sleep! The restaurant proposes amazing dishes. The wait earns the taste. The team is very professional and available. Only pain point was the lack of bus to get to the location, this requires good legs if you didn't rent a car.
