Lovely little boutique hotel. Walking distance to the Acropolis, which we could see from the rooftop terrace. Very warm and personable staff. Clean, comfortable, great breakfast provided in a little basket each morning (eggs, pastries, yogurt etc). A little too cool this time of year to eat it on the terrace. Very little street noise. Easy walk to cafes and shops. Neighbourhood felt safe. Would stay here again

This hotel exceeded expectations. In keeping with the history of the building they provided an enjoyable atmosphere. The front desk receptionist was wonderful and so informative. And the breakfast was delightful in taste and presentation. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Athens and hope to visit again soon

Great hotel, centrally located but also quiet. The roof terrace is amazing with views of the Acropolis. We stayed in the Bird of Happiness suite which also had a lovely wraparound terrace. The staff were so helpful and friendly, thank you.

This is in my top 5 hotels ever. And I work in luxury hospitality. The attention to detail in the room. The immediate welcoming atmosphere you’re feeling when you first enter the hotel. The super fast responses when you’re reaching out via email asking for advise. I really don’t know where to start. This place is one in a million. The owners really made it feel even more special and the breakfast (not a buffet but made to your order) on the terrace with the amazing Acropolis view just tops it off. No words, really!

The staff at Moon & Stars went out of their way to help organize activities we were interested in, and to answer our questions. Our room was lovely, and very comfortable. The breakfast they delivered was fabulous! We’d happily stay here again!!!

A lovely and fresh hotel. Perfect in every way. Close to everything, yet still a bit away so you’re not disturbed by noise. Will be back.

We loved this hotel. Very clean, comfortable and the staff is super friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Bird of Happiness room for 3 nights. It was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was very clean and it had a great shower. Continental breakfast was included, which was delicious - pastries, coffee, juice etc. One of the best features is that they have a rooftop garden with an amazing view of the Parthenon. (If you stay in the Cloud 9 room you have your own private area with a hot tub on the roof) Tons of restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again and have no problem recommending it .

Disappointed with this hotel. We stayed 3 nights in the room « bird of happiness ». First, the positive of this hotel: good location, the room was spacious, the bed was confortable.The staff was polite and nice. Now the negative: we had an issue with air conditioning, the room temperature was too high . It was sort of dealt with a member of staff, she tried her best but the A/C was really noisy and not working properly. It was hard to sleep at night. We also had a problem with storage/ cupboards…there isn’t enough space for clothes. The wooden floor in the bedroom needs to be repaired. Breakfast is mediocre. It was obvious that the bread and croissants are frozen. But the worst was the coffee, it was horrible. To finish it all, the cleaning lady made a mistake when cleaning the room and our pyjama disappeared… we got it back after asking about it. There are better hotels in Athens for the same price.

From start to finish, our stay was exceptional. We arrived late after a long day of disrupted travel and instantly felt comfortable and relaxed at Moon and Stars. The room was incredibly well decorated and equipped, the welcome and service was warm and friendly, we appreciated the tip about a nearby bar for a drink. Breakfast on the roof was great, stunning setting and delicious array of food you can choose from the night before. Highly recommend and would love to return one day to this gorgeous boutique hotel

Excellent stay. Loved the Cloud 9 room. The room was very cute. We enjoyed our rooftop Jacuzzi and the amazing views. The staff were very friendly. Great breakfast. We thought the location was really good. It was easy to walk to everything. We would definitely stay there again.

Intimate boutique hotel in a wonderful location. A short walk to eateries and bars. Nikoleta and team are very helpful and gave some wonderful recommendations. Great spot for couples.
