Nafsika Hotel Athens Centre in Athens

The standards of the property are very low.
I would never stay there even if they are offered for free.

Was terrible, whole hotel smelt bad, room had broken tiles on the floor, mattresses hard as rocks, bathroom was gross. We checked in and checked straight back out. Location we did not feel safe as just down the road is where all the homeless sleep. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Not a good spot. We told a girl the first night our room had bed bugs and asked if we could be moved. To her credit she was very nice and said they didn’t have any available that night, but the next night we could. We then asked the next day about changing and the owner said no. He also wouldn’t offer us any sort of refund for the bed bugs, and told us if we wanted a different room the following day (we had reserved for 3 nights) it would cost us more money. He also didn’t seem even slightly surprised / caught off guard when we told him about the bed bugs. The younger girl we dealt with was great and you could tell the next day she felt really bad when the owner showed zero sympathy. Shes the only reason we gave a 2 star rather than 1 for service, but I would strongly recommend staying anywhere else.

STAY AWAY

I stayed there last night !
bed was missing a plank (as the bed was bending) that was the balcony,I didn’t bother and I did it myself.
in the evening there was a heavy engine working all night (after midnight I arrived) that wouldn’t let us sleep. I tried to call to ask what’s happening but the phone was not working as well.
The flush was not working in the bathroom as well in result to all the room smell after I used the bathroom without being able to flush.The cleaning lady this morning said that on the high floors the flush doesn’t work in general.
if you check my profile I am not a complainer but despite the fact that the young lady at the reception was very kind, the manager on the phone was attacking and lying that everything works properly besides the phone which he said “in busy hotels these things happen”.

very disrespectfully he said “what do you want,I’ll give you 10€ discount” .
