The clock tower strikes at the hour and half hour throughout the day but ceases at 10pm and restarts at 6am! That was a bit of shock after the first night! Access to good waking along the coast of Hydra and island day hoping should you want to

We had a wonderful stay here in Hydra. We chose the room with the balcony overlooking the town and sea - it was definitely worth it! The room was very spacious, with a small kitchenette, including a fridge and kettle

We had a terrace at the rear to sit and enjoy a glass of wine but this did not have a view. Our shower doors were missing but this was not an issue. s the beds were very comfortable and the hotel was very clean all round

Gorgeous views of the town and port from my spacious suite. Lots of steps up the hill, but that is part of the charm of Hydra. The staff is excellent: friendly, knowledgeable and engaging

Be aware that there are about 130 stairs from port to hotel! We had to climb them 3 or so times a day, and the first day with suitcases, unless you rent a donkey for 20euro

There are many steps (100 apparently) to get to the hotel from town so not recommended if mobility is an issue. Daphne assured us it got easier each time!

We came in for drinks then ordered food. The service was outstanding and the music kept the night alive. Only here for 5 days but we’ll be back before we fly back to Wales

Small room but very clean, friendly and professional staff. Restaurant downstairs and just a couple minutes walk from the town centre.

Nice but noisy A lovely hotel in a great location but was very difficult to sleep after a very long day of travelling. The music was very loud and didn't stop until just after 1am. Also a lot of noise from outside.

Location was close to restaurants and tourist activities. Room was small, and bathroom was tiny. Bed was comfy. Wonderful staff, but the facility did not meet my expectations for the price charged.

Surprisingly quiet since you are above a restaurant and bar. Our room did not have a window, which is the main reason we would not recommend without asking more details about the room first

We loved the old-fashioned room decor and the convenience of near all tourist attractions. The Fresco room was spacious, and the hot tub at the balcony (bring bathing suit) was a plus after hours of long walks.

First of all it was an amazing location. Small walk to all of Athens best locations. Loved the bathroom and the jacuzzi was fantastic and worked well which is rarely the case

The staff were very friendly / helpful and allowed us a late check out to use the spa and also held our bags until we left for the airport. Overall a wonderful experience and highly recommended

At first we were a little disappointed we had to pay extra for the spa but actually it was a wonderful experience / facilities and we ended up going back

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Lotus Center Hotel, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and impeccable service

This hotel is a 15 - to 20-minute walk to the main city Square. So, it suits abled travelers, as one may need to walk back and forth to explore the main attraction sites of athens near the acropolis

There are many types of breakfast, and the yogurt is delicious. There is a bus stop downstairs, so you can take the bus directly, which is very convenient, but there seem to be a lot of black people in this area

However, if one makes the effort to talk to her and persevere in spite of her peculiarity, there is no reason why one can not extract a smile out of her, and have a normal conversation with her

The metro is adjacent to the hotel, so that is another option, very convenient. The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day, and everyone, including housekeeping, is most helpful

The hotel was good, the breakfast was very very poor, and the street ia very noisy, and the AC was not working , but was good

Overall, I would recommend this hotel as a good value preposition

It's just a few minutes' walk from Constitution Square, and the airport shuttle bus stops right there. I always walk to and from the airport with my luggage, which is very convenient

Great location on a relatively quiet street about a 5 minute walk from the Syntagma metro. Practically all the sights we visited were within walking distance (at most, 25 minutes)

This hotel is located in a great spot! Lots of restaurants very nearby. We had about a 7 minute walk to the National Garden. Approximately 20 min to the Acropolis. We walked to pretty much everything from the hotel

Bathroom is good other than lighting. They have lights hanging in front of the mirror. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They held our luggage for us when we arrived before the time that our room would be ready

It is very central if you are a tourist. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I am a side sleeper and felt the bed comfortable. There is ample storage and we had a balcony off of our room

We stayed 3 nights at A for Athens in April 2024 and really enjoyed the hotel. Clean, modern guest rooms and the location is great, right across from Monastriaki Square and metro stop. Close to restaurants and shopping

The room was very clean, had a small balcony, and was larger than I expected; the window was also very comfortable. Breakfast was on the sixth floor, and you could enjoy it while looking at the Acropolis – fantastic!

I went on a trip with my kids, and the location is fantastic. The room with the Acropolis window all the time is excellent. I had a great experience in breakfast because I could see a beautiful view of the Acropolis

I woke up so late one day that I almost missed the tour bus, but I was really glad that the staff at the front of the hotel took care of it and showed me how to get on the bus

Not enough for the price Parking inside big enough. The smallest and cheaper rooms are. small, not cleaned before we got inside, small bathroom with no shower curtain, water all over the place

Did not enjoyed. Breakfast was served in room and rooms are already very tiny and not same size as mentioned on the description. the toilets are very old and sticky.

If I could give Leto Hotel a 10 start rating I would. Nestled just steps away from downtown Hydra, the Leto Hotel is an amazing boutique hotel. It has fantastic charm, the staff is super nice and management is amazing

Conveniently located for the port and other sights, you don’t have to carry your bags up any steep paths. Lovely breakfast too, one of us has a gluten allergy and there were plenty of options

Lovely hotel Great hotel, minutes walk from everything. Classic, elegant hotel, we would happily stay there again.

About a 5 minute walk from the ferry port and near many restaurants. The rooms were clean, quiet, and well maintained. The breakfast was ok. The only issue was that the wifi in the room was REALLY spotty.

Breakfast buffet is served in a large dining room with seating outside also, overlooking the pool area

Cleopatra & her sister Isidora were very friendly, welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Sheets & towels changed regularly, kettle provided. No extra charge for air con & safe. Shower could have been better

Our 4-day stay at Life Gallery Athens truly felt like living in luxury. The food was fantastic—special mention to the African chef who prepared the most amazing dish of black “forbidden” rice with salmon

The restaurant is working until 22-45, so you can have an opportunity to have a late dinner, the quality of food is Michelin-style. The cocktails at the bar were “state-of-art”

Plus - the hotel provides the transfer from and to the airport, for a fair price you get much better service and much better car comparing to a normal taxi

Had to open windows to make room not extremely hot (room received direct sun all day) We even left door open when not in room and maid closed it. So we returned to an extremely hot room at end of day

Had a 24 hour layover there. Great hotel and fantastic location. Could do all the attractions easily from there.

I booked this hotel due to it having A/C. With balcony door open at night all the street noise came so we did not sleep well. Hotel was very clean and breakfast buffet was excellent

When asked about A/C on Saturday (arrival day) we were told be repaired on Monday. We checked out Thursday and still no A/C

The rooms are understated, but immaculately designed, with the layout bedding and bathtub all adding to the romantic and high quality theme and the rooftop just adds another layer of sophistication as you take in the view of the acropolis

Unique and high quality boutique hotel. The central location makes it very easy to get to from the airport and access to the ancient sites are a 5 min walk. The check in and comms before the stay were prompt and clear

Taking a bath can be a challenge if you try not to get the bathroom too wet. The mona robes are comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and available until 1pm. Staff replies quickly with the in room iPad

A unique property but not for everyone one. You have to like the artistic approach and have the expectation of not the ordinary luxury. The textile and towels used in the room are high quality

Firts time we stayed in 4th floor i guess and our bed was not directly located on the top of the bar, i suppose so it made a huge difference. The staff, the breakfast, the terrace, amenities all were perfect as before

The Attalos Hotel is good with everything you need, reception is right at the front door with very helpful and friendly staff, the lifts are small, so only one person and your luggage at a time, but that’s ok

Sadly there was a night club / live music until 2am lucky we had been awake very early to fly so just about managed to get to sleep. Maybe worth checking this before booking if you have a room at the back

Close to a supermarket, cafe’s everywhere (you have to get yourself a real Greek coffee- now that’s a caffeine hit you will need after travelling 😉) and there is amazing authentic Greek Food all around

A rooftop bar with acropolis view and a lower ground storage are a bonus. Though the lift is too small can only accommodate 2 or three people, the breakfast is included

Very good location, metro station is few minutes away and it is on Airport Blue line route. Shopping and Acropolis are around, central to everything

Communication was generally good - although I received messages via WhatsApp from two separate business accounts which was a bit confusing especially when they seemed to have different checkout dates - one WhatsApp was hotel specific and the other seemed to be from a more central account as maybe they operate several hotels?? This meant slightly more leg work for me and I wonder if some improved coordination...

One message referenced a video to locate the hotel, but there was no obvious link to a video that I received across either account. The hotel was still easily found on google maps that said

I was caught up in some sort of protest one night and locals informed me this was an area known for scuffles, although generally I felt safe. The hotel is self checkin and no one is there

I did have a situation where it seemed someone was trying to enter my room with the passcode - but I’m unsure if that was an error of the hotel or the visitor

The hotel was nice and well situated with a short walk into the main parts of Athens or to a metro station. Nice options for coffee and croissants nearby

That said the communication was very good - with various resources sent and I found that hugely helpful

All the personal in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very rich and healthy. I liked especially the Greek olives, the Greek salad and the delicious Greek yogurt with honey

The room is normal in size, clean, there is hot water without interruptions, the air conditioning works. Breakfast is a bit sparse but overall ok 👍🏻 Reception 24 hours, very friendly people

The main purpose of traveling is to play outside, and there is not much time to stay in the hotel, so it is best to choose a hotel with high cost performance, and this is it

It has complete supporting facilities, high cost-effectiveness, and is close to Constitution Square. Except for some alleys with a lot of idle people, it is generally safe.

they returned to the hotel before dark, they didn’t risk walking along such streets 😬 And so there are no complaints about the hotel

The location is not the best of Athens , but inside the hotel we enjoyed our two-weeks-stay very much

It’s an easy walk downhill into town and a tricker walk back up, but a taxi is €5 from the town to the hotel so really easy. I would genuinely really recommend Hotel Danae

It’s not five star luxury of course but it is very clean, the food is good, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the pool is beyond lovely
