If you're expecting a luxury hotel, you might not be. Private room with working air-conditioning and comfy pillows. The toilet flushes a little funky--you need to use a water bucket to aid flushing

Wish I had booked more nights here! Front desk is amazing. Better than hostels that I've stayed at, for roughly the same price. That said, if you're comparing to a hostel, you'll be impressed

Everything is good, but they don’t have a kettle. If you want hot water, they will provide one.

Also, there's no curtain for the shower and tv doesn't work

Only little point, would be great to have a shower cabin or at least a curtain

We stayed here for one night as a couple after a flight from Asia. Wanted to charge extra 25 euros for early check in so we gave that a miss. The hotel entrance is obscured with frosted glass

The address is very good. It's on the edge of the port and very close to the seaside. It's very comfortable to take a walk and drink coffee. You can see the life of the locals and stay away from the bustling urban area.

The hotel is old, I changed several rooms, all except the rooms with a sea view have a stale smell of old age, breakfasts are like Groundhog Day every day, the same thing, they don't even change the omelette to fried eggs

Excellent location, great sea view hotel, you can enjoy the view from the balcony. The hotel and facilities are old and the breakfast is average.

Good hotel and good location. Breakfast good for money. Very good bar with sea view and with nice Brazilian Lady bartender!

The only plus is the first line and if the room has a sea view, the view is amazing, especially sunsets and sunrises

But it's located directly at the sea. And it has a lot of nice tavernas and cafeterias around

The balcony was very narrow and not really usable, there was no seating area and no view, just the building across the street. The location is excellent: close to everything and not noisy. The hotel itself is very small

We booked a Junior Suite because I heard that hotel rooms in Athens tend to be small. The room was spacious and pleasant. I would describe it as a decent room, certainly not luxurious

We loved snorkelling in the sea (still warm enough) at this beach and hiking around the island. We also loved the restaurant at the hotel and ate there most of the time. Thankyou to all the staff for a wonderful stay!

Martha was personal and very accommodating, the girls took good care of us for breakfast. Couldn't ask for anything else. Keep up the amazing work and we are definitely planning to come back, next time with the family!

Lovely, modernized hotel in heart of Pirareus. Our balcony was huge- big enough for multiple chairs, two loungers, and tables. The free breakfast was delicious and quite ample- eggs, sausages, pastries, etc

Plenty of nice shopping and food just outside and in walking distance Be advised, though, if you stay in Pirareus, many tours won't pick you up since they might only do so from centrai Athens

Very convenient hotel in a great location right next to the piraeus port. Great for an overnight stay to take the ferry in the morning

The front desk is open at all hours which is very helpful for late flights or early ferries

My husband and I stayed at the Periscope Hotel in Athens, Greece to celebrate our 40th anniversary and what a delight it was! Everyone from front desk to housekeeping to managment was extraordinarily wonderful - friendly, helpful, anxious to tell us about the city, make recommendations, reservations, or lend us a tablet to solve our cell phone problem the minute we checked in

The location is very convient with loads of shops and restaurants, the National Botanical Garden, the Plaka, and more just minutes away. There is snack food, coffee and other drinks available in the lobby all the time

Of course, the penthouse with it's private rooftop hot tub was the most perfect! We had booked a standard room using Marriott Bonvoy points and were immediately upgraded to a superior room

The room is sleek and modern, comfortable bed,and is cleaned daily. The penthouse was a real treat! Huge room with a sitting area, great view, the works

Hotel is a bit remote from city center but in close vicinity of Tatoi air base. Situated on top of a steep hill. Cleaning works well, restaurant had amazing food (the chicken pasta!!) and very helpful reception

Quick stay for airport The hotel itself was great. The location in regards to Athens center is about 25 minutes away. We stayed the night with our flight the next day, so it was very convenient

It was an incredible view and allowed for us to enjoy our time in the city. The breakfast was delicious! We requested trays and grabbed it and brought it back to the room, where we ate it on the balcony together

We were on the 6th floor and our room had a balcony with a great view of the Acropolis. The hotel was also in a great location to shopping and restaurants with a lot to choose from

Great choice of places to get food and drink as your in the center just off a quite side street. I would definitely recommend this place to stop and visit Athens as your base

It's about the perfect location for exploring all that Athens has to offer walking everywhere in about 20/25 minutes max. Tram station 5 min , Parthenon 15min

It only takes about a 15-20 minute walk to all of the popular places you'd want to go in Athens. You must also visit the rooftop terrace as it offers a beautiful view of the Acropolis

The staff was very friendly and they also have a nice rooftop patio with tables and a great view of the Acropolis for the rooms without a balcony

Very friendly staff, reception was very helpful and open all night I believe. The free breakfast was amazing, clean room with a kettle and fridge which was nice.

The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the room is big enough. The surrounding is very quiet, but it is only a 2-minute walk to restaurants and convenience stores. The girl at the front desk was very welcoming

Breakfast had all you needed. Wasn’t a fan of their coffee but was other options. A couple of small shops or eats nearby and only 10 mins walk to metro system. Streets poor condition and quite dark waking back.

Some of the hotel's rooms are currently under renovation and will be much nicer once they're finished. The unrenovated rooms are a bit dated and have a very old feel

The breakfast in the restaurant is simple but adequate

The accommodation was so comfortable it was hard to go out into the city and sightsee 🙃 They also have a penthouse suite with a full panoramic view of the surrounding area, where you can witness mountain terrain, the city, and the sea

Glyfada is such a pleasant and Iconic area to stay in on the Riviera coast of Athens only minutes away from the Ogarden Suites compound (Within walking distance or by car) you can immerse yourself in the true culture of Athens

I did not need much during my stay but the things I did inquire about were handled swiftly by Nathalie and Eva. Who were both spectacular and graceful in communication. Whether you are with friends, lovers, or family

I highly recommend Ogarden Suites for your stay in Athens, (Glyfada) for a more personalized elevated experience. I most definitely will be giving Ogarden a visit on my soon return to Athens (Glyfada)

I had the pleasure of staying 5 days at Ogaden Suites where I experienced a very private and quiet stay. It was like living in my very own apartment for a short period of time

I booked the penthouse suite for my 2 nights as it was available. The modern interiors really enhanced the comfort of my stay

To many that alone could ruin a holiday but for me it wasn’t a huge deal breaker as I still enjoyed my time with family and made good memories

My previous experiences at this hotel were much better. It seems like pandemic had some side effects (this was a COVID hotel). On the website, I read the incorrect information that breakfast is served at the top

Due to the satisfaction with the price offered by Alexandros, due to the fact that the receptionists are mostly professional and because I got a better room than the one I paid for, I will give a higher rating

The rooms have been renovated. Slippers and a set of toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided. There were 4 problems with the room I got - there was no key to the safe

The door to the terrace could not be closed, the light in the room did not work, and neither did the hairdryer in the bathroom. The receptionist offered me to move to another room the next day

The hotel location was ideal - right on the beach and the water was warm even early October - around 24C. The room was spacious and clean and we had asked for a room with sea view, which was fantastic

It took us 20 minutes by foot to walk to the main village/port and by taxi it only took us 5 minutes

A really nice older style hotel. Rooms small but have spectacular views on the water. Best thing is the direct sea access with bar and food on your doorstep. Out of town which is ok , a good walk or local bus

There is more to accommodation than pretty towels. This hotel has a very clever room design with everything you need placed exactly where they should be. This only comes with great experience

Having read various reviews, I have just returned home. The staff all went that extra mile to make you welcome. The pool is a good size with a jacuzzi by the side of it

Had the most wonderful 10 days at this hotel. From the moment my friend and I arrived we received the most friendliest of welcomes and were then shown to our room

The room was spotless, the only odd thing about it was the basin was by the front door and not in the bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful

The hotel bar served drinks in proper glasses only if you sat inside, if you sat outside on the terrace areas you were given hard plastic. Again here there is a self service area but soft plastic "glasses" were in use

There's an amazing bakery next door, Ergon Bakehouse, which has delicious breakfast and a constant queue for its baked goods. They even packed us a breakfast box to take to the airport for our early flight

Fantastic hotel! Our stay was lovely thanks to the centrality of the hotel and the efficiency of the staff. The position is close to everything: bus stops, metro station of Place Sintagma, restaurants, bars, ecc

You need to choose rooms that are not directly exposed to the main road to have a quiet atmosphere. The staff is always ready to accommodate requests, the breakfast is good for this type of boutique hotel

Eating on the splendid terrace with barefoot under the trees and facing a golden sea is one of the highlights in spending good time in hydra ! Whatever you will order it will rejoice your eyes and your palate … so fresh are the salads and quite consistent, greek mezze are done in the authentic way and fish on the grill are the freshest and juiciest

We came to Hydra at the end of the season, and even though the weather wasn't always sunny, we thoroughly enjoyed every day. The entire team pampered us rotten
