Mona Hotel in Athens

I stayed at the hotel during the last week of August for 4 nights. The hotel itself is pretty cool, with plenty of lounging areas in the lower level. The staff at the front desk were brilliant and super helpful and kind. They gave us great restaurant recommendations and were very attentive throughout our stay. They get 5 stars. Their breakfast is amazing and I dream about their offering. Also 5 stars on that front.
Now on to the rooms. We had a small room and the bed was comfortable enough. But the bathrooms. Oh the bathrooms... they are not ideal at all. I stayed here with a friend and the bathroom is basically out in the open with curtains surrounding it. Even the toilet! I don't see this being ideal in any kind of situation. The toilet is surrounded by, yes, curtains! Who can do their business in an open space like that!? Even if I was with a significant other, I would not feel comfortable going to the toilet. So my friend and I kept going to the bathroom on the rooftop. I mean, seriously! The bathtub is free standing with a handheld shower head so the water sprayed everywhere making a wet mess. I would not stay here again based on this issue.
