We both loved this hotel and this is our 4th year, but we were sorely disappointed because the lift from the ground floor had been taken out and a flower bed put in its place , the only way up was via steep steps , the first step off the road was so steep we had to hang on a giant plant pot to get up , at the top there were no handrails , you could then take a lift for one floor to the dining room , as we are disabled it was a nightmare , there is also a ramp which is very very long and uphill , this will be our last trip to this lovely hotel

We stayed at the Delfinia Hotel for a week following a cruise around the Greek islands. The hotel staff were attentive, welcoming and worked hard. I was especially impressed with a massage I booked with Massage Spa, Marina was brilliant so I booked a second treatment! Divine! The rooms were spotless and modern, very comfortable beds thanks to the beautifully clean sheets and mattress topper. If you need extra pillows ask, if you want a kettle ask... nothing is too much trouble. The food is plentiful and fresh, everything you could want. I would have enjoyed a drink included with my dinner, but we were half board. All in all a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting and a wonderful week.

Great hotel, well looked after, food choices good. Beautiful beach and surroundings. Staff in restaurant and beach bar deserve a lot of praise. Marina provided wonderful massages to all the family and was great with our kids

The hotel was clean and tidy, staff were generally friendly apart from one gentleman on reception whom was a bit abrupt, issues were taken care of promptly. There was nothing “Wrong” with the hotel, however i felt that the spread out and clinical design language used through the place has left it feeling quite soulless, another comment I would make is although the food in the buffet is alright, unfortunately I found the nature -and etiquette of other guests (predominantly German) in the buffet to be very bizarre, with most of them filling 3 plates then sitting down to eat, meaning there was little less for anyone who wasn’t accustomed to their ways in a Buffet. One “benefit” if you can call it that of giving up with the buffet was that we explored the small town behind the hotel, we stumbled across a superb Gyros shop who’s proprietor had spend 20 years in Plymoth, the place was called “Doner House” and the food there was very tasty I would recommend a visit. However on that note it isnt overly easy to access the town, nor is it well sign posted even though its what i would consider to be a very short walk, a gate into the path/small road leading to the town behind the wall opposite reception would make things a lot easier rather than having to walk down to the beach and back up. This being said if someone told me they were coming here on holiday I wouldn’t cringe however im not sure that I would come back myself, next time when booking a holiday I will have to make sure its not over filled with Germans.

I will begin with the positives. Lovely room, gorgeous gardens and very clean. Negatives: Very quiet with nothing going on at all You get a dinner ticket for evening meal - the food I can only describe as canteen style with limited choice. We ate there the first day and then ate out for the remainder of our holiday. You have to pay for water - fair enough but €3.00 for a small bottle and then €28 for a bottle of wine. No atmosphere at all - no entertainment during the day. If you go out at night you can walk along the beach to some lovely taverns which have lovely food and drinks for a reasonable price - with excellent service included. The 3 stars hotel restaurant was lovely for food and drinks and highly recommend. I have stayed all over the world and returned to several of them - this one I’m afraid I will NOT be booking again.

Stayed for 3 nights after being on a Greek Island cruise. The hotel was a great end to our busy schedule on board the ship. We were able to chill and relax in the hotels extensive gardens and pool area. It’s in a great location with a beach front with easy access to bars and restaurants. And a five minute walk to the village centre. The restaurant food was excellent and staff helpful and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and well maintained. Would definitely return for a longer stay in the future.

--- We had a lovely stay here. Everything felt very new and spotlessly clean (at least in the building we stayed in, which also houses the restaurant) – it seems to have been recently renovated. The location is perfect for a beach holiday. Staff are friendly, welcoming, and the housekeeping is excellent. Breakfast is English-style, with plenty of fresh fruit. Dinner is tasty and varied, with a good selection including seafood. As is common in Greece, all drinks at dinner, including water, are charged separately. Most guests bring bottled water from the nearby supermarket – at the hotel, a 1‑liter bottle costs €3, whereas in the supermarket you can get six 1.5‑liter bottles for just €1.80. The only real disappointment at breakfast was the lack of a bean‑to‑cup coffee machine, which is standard in most hotels these days. Instead, coffee is served by waiters from pots, a bit like in American roadside cafés. There’s a small capsule coffee machine, but espresso from it costs €2.50. At dinner, no hot drinks are offered at all, even for an extra charge. There is, however, very good coffee at the beach bar – but unfortunately, it’s closed in the mornings.

Having been to Dassia on two previous very enjoyable holidays we thought a beach south of Corfu town would be a new experience this year. The TUI flight from Cardiff was very good and timings suited us. We chose the Delfinia mainly for the extensive gardens with trees to offer shade and ease sunbed issues. How wrong we were. The hotel is a large complex of 4 buildings and is clean and well maintained. End of Good Points. The dining room, Bar and Tavern are in separate buildings. There is Zero atmosphere. No music, no laughter no attempt at a warm welcome. Reception similar to a Health Centre book in. The staff all speak German. No info pack. Just keys to the room. Superior Room was ok nothing special but sea view was as requested. Even when asked info on Taxi, Boat Trips other Hotels it was Not provided. The Tavern is open for lunch at a hefty cost with a limited menu and surly staff. The food at breakfast was ok, fresh fried eggs every day. No tea or coffee machines, juice was cordial. Premises and cutlery similar to a works canteen. Dinner was in two sittings 6 or 8 pm.. the food buffet was repetitive and bland.. no moussaka ,fresh fish or souvlaki in 7 days.? In Greece.? The large bar is deserted at night, due to high prices for both hot and cold drinks. The staff are miserable and demotivated seem in fear of the management? Very Strange. The weather was excellent all week, so the pool and sea bathing saved our holiday. The pool was closed at 6pm by the sunbed man who also then toured the grounds and started to stack any vacant sunbeds away around us?Weird. Will not return.

This is a nice hotel with well looked after gardens and is right on the beach and within walking distance of a number of bars and restaurants . This makes the location good especially if you want to be right on the beach. However the beach is probably no wider than 20ft but is long enough to have maybe 20 or 30 umbrellas and sun beds. To get a sunbed was a case of getting up early with your towels and claiming your spot. Clearly not enough sun beds but plenty of space for them. It’s also very clean from what I saw of the public areas. The staff weren’t over friendly and sometimes managed a smile when you spoke to them in passing. Having said that the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was ok but the food was pretty much the same every night and was a little bland. The salad choices were very good and were fresh and plentiful. The dessert choices were ok but mostly all tasted the same. The bar area wasn’t particularly exciting and quite frankly didn’t really have any atmosphere which was a shame I think the cost of the drinks didn’t help and in my opinion should have been cheaper esp for hotel guests. The room wasn’t that big and storage for clothes very poor. No tea coffee making facilities?? Yet you did get a telephone next to the toilet as well as one next to the bed which was very odd!! ?? There’s a safe in the room but there’s a €20 charge which is in my opinion disgusting especially as when you check in you sign a waver basically saying if anything goes missing the hotel aren’t responsible!! If you hire a car there’s plenty of free parking at the hotel. You also have to pay for beach towels!?

We were delighted with the newly renovated hotel complex right on the beach, connected to a beautiful well-kept garden. Comfortable accommodation with perfect daily cleaning and always smiling staff. Tasty breakfasts and dinners with a wide selection were excellent with the option of serving on the terrace or in the air-conditioned area. Our stay was made more enjoyable by the friendly staff led by the perfect Dionysos and his brilliant colleague Fotini. We can definitely recommend it, We will be happy to come back here.
