Would stay again. I had a room with a pool adjoined and it was lovely to have that private space and balcony. The breakfast options are extensive, fresh and tasty. The location of the hotel was good, near a bus stop, supermarket and on the beach. The grounds were well kept and maintained.

Can't put more than 3 stars. Pros: the grounds and room cleaning. Cons: since very early in the morning busses stop under my balcony and keep the engine running for hours on time. Rooms are not soundproof, I can hear people snoring and peeing let alone children crying. The sunbeds on the beach are 6 eur per person which is unacceptable when one is a hotel guest. Good hotel with very helpful and nice staff. Extra clean. This hotel does not meet the standard of a 5-star rating. The rooms are in very poor condition, especially bathrooms, where plaster is peeling off. While ther is a wide variety of food available, the hotel location by the see is difficult to access do to narrov and steep roads. Additionally, the water in the see is very dirty in the affternoons.

We loved our stay at Pelekas Monastery as a family of four. Our family room which had a sea view balcony was actually bigger than we thought from the photos and had a partition door to divide the kids on their twin single sofa beds and us. Lovely little hotel. Pools great lots sun loungers and not crowded, nice places ro eat or enjoy a drink. Everything is very reasonable. The bus stop is very close by, its not good to walk on the main road with small children as barely a path so you need your wits about you.
