We had a very memorable stay at this resort. The resort is very well equipped for a family holiday. The rooms are big ( we got an upgrade), the amenities are excellent ( multiple pools) and the location is right on the beach. You might stay across the road but many resorts in this region have similar design. This is because the land between the beach and the roads are not huge. The staff were exceptional...

This is the best hotel we have ever experienced. We go on holiday as a group every year, but Crete and Santa Marina Beach are a standout we are planning on coming back to. The aura of the hotel gives off classic Mediterranean aesthetic of playfulness and relaxation, especially due to the beach in front and the views. Just spent a fantastic week here. Yes the rooms are small but perfectly adequate, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The towels were changed every day and the bedding every other day. Myself and my partner have spent the last fortnight at the Giannoulis Santa Marina Beach Hotel and we loved every minute of our stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable and welcoming. We had a beach side view room which had an impeccable view of the coast, Agii Theodori island and the mountains behind us. This was our first time in Crete. We both had an absolutely lovely time, right at the end of the season, as we got back yesterday. Picked this hotel as wanted to be on the beach (it really is if you stay at the main building, which we did) but near to public transport (right outside the door!). As good as it gets for every reason you can think of. This was our second year in a row as a family visiting Theo hotel and we have never been back to the same place more than once until now. The staff are excellent and polite always happy to see you and help with anything. The rooms were very clean and tidy with excellent views all round. We spent 12 nights here. Listed as 4* but certainly does make that grade. Breakfast was really good staff friendly & helpful, buffet style, plenty of choice. Avoid room 600 if you can. Bathroom floods & is like something from the 70's. Patio area is the main walk way to other rooms - no privacy. Pool area really good, not supposed to be able to reserve a sunbed, but by breakfast there were plenty...

Theo hotel was calming and relaxed from the minute we arrived. Minutes away from the beach and surrounded by cool little bars and beach side restaurants. The staff were friendly and always happy to help assist you for your daily needs and advise us for day trips. The hotel has a beautiful pool with a great bar and spa etc and the daily breakfast was vast in variety. I will definitely come here again...

Listed as 4* I didn't feel like it quite made that grade. Bedrooms very very basic. Plain walls. No decorations / pictures etc. Towels were tiny. Tea and coffee making facilities. But no tea or coffee supplied. Music round the pool is dire. Techno base music. Really intrusive. Requested it be changed. But no. Its from the Internet. So couldn't be changed. It's on a steep hill. Not suitable for...

The holiday at Theo hotel was great! The hotel is in a good location and the food is good. The pool area is really good and the staff is really friendly. I will definitely come here again! ❤️

Hotel Theo perched above Agia Marina is a great resort to explore the N.W coast of Crete. A stylish, well presented apartment with panoramic views out to sea.A lift took you down to beach level. Really a fantastic hotel. Better than expected. The room were perfect with electronic cortrol of locks and lightning. The reception were helpfull, the cleaning of the room of high quality and the breakfast were splended. The staff were helpfull and polite.

A unique hotel of two parts: modern technological rooms and a village part with more traditional rooms. We didn't like the modern room, which design is not for everybody. They are also right above the street and no privacy - neighbour rooms can observe you from the outside and literally anyone from the street has an access right outside your room so can't feel safety when ti keep the window/door open...

Excellent location, neat, modern and clean room. Good variety of local food for breakfast. Very friendly host. Beach is just on the otherside of the road.

Nice place with a well-sized pool, good food and 5 minutes from the beach.

We are grateful for the cleanliness, warm attitude, the stay was very comfortable and cozy ☺️

Very nice service. Quite old hotel but keeped very well. Clean and tidy. No hairdryer in room. I recommend it for its price. There is an additional payment for AC which we weren’t informed by Travel Agency. Cleaning service left us sweet animals made from fresh towels 😁

Nice and quiet. Staff is nice and helpful. Cleaning lady has some top notch towel origami game. Pool is small and shallow but clean. Rooms have comfortable beds, big closet, lots of drawers and a terrace with a hanger for drying clothes. Breakfast is dissatisfying: every day the same; no feta cheese, no veggies (only tomato), no real honey. So prepare to eat some market cheese every day… Air conditioning...

Very good hotel! Very close to the beach and the main road with the stores and the restaurants.

I was here a year ago. All rooms is small, but for holiday is good. One room with kitchen, AC, bed and bathroom. Owner was really helpful and hospitable. This hotel is close to the beatch and shop.
