Amazing view, very nice place! The Hotel has everything for a perfect holiday. Beach access is convenient and staff are wonderful, especially in Italian restaurant. Carbonara was perfect! The rooms are cozy and well kept

It's the second time that I visit this hotel and I love it. The hotel is near to center of Hania and it has private beach with sunbeds. The view was fantastic and the food delicious. The rooms was big and very clean

Gaini is the best place to relax .Our room is very clean .The Waterpark is very beautifull and our kids sped a lot of time there .The food was delicious and it has a little of facilities for us.

We were there at the end of the season and always found parking ok and loads of sun beds around the pool and on the beach. Beach is nice, shingle rather than sand. Entertainment in the evening very good

All the food at the hotel is very very good, we tried the room service, the bad snacks at the bar and we had dinner at the a la carte restaurant which was incredibly tasty and delicious

We booked an additional night (originally 3 nights) but I think they were going to offer us a different/upgrade room for the last night but I didn’t want the hassle of moving our stuff

From the lady who checked us in and helped me with the birthday cake for my husband, the entire front desk, the breakfast team (I think the manager's name is Nikolaios), the pool staff, the ladies from the spa really went above and beyond in every aspect (I'm so sorry I don't remember more names)!! The housekeeping was top notch, the room was always spotless

Local area is no doubt very busy in the high season, but many shops and restaurants had started to close while we were there

My third stay at this lovely hotel. I had a room over the side street which was perfectly quiet. Room was cleaned daily whilst I was there and was immaculate. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice

Our door lock started being faulty after two days and the maintenance man sorted it within 30 minutes so again efficient service. Buffet breakfasts suited our taste and selections frequently refilled

The options for dining out is superb but my advice is avoid the busy packed out ones nearby the hotel and seek a much better dining experience like Casa Del Mare on the beach front and Arondiko where the cuisine is of a much better quality

Water kept spilling over from shower cubicle but nothing to worry about. Great selection at breakfast. All in all a very enjoyable stay

I opted for eggs and bacon most mornings but there was also plenty of fruit, cold cuts, cheeses, cereals and even sweets. The staff on reception were always present to help with any difficulties I may have had

Rom has kettle, microwave, hob and fridge with freezer compartment. Pool clean, sunbeds sometimes difficult to get. The grassed area by the breakfast could be utilised for this. Lifts are available to all floors

Our thanks to all the staff, front of house, chambermaid and chefs for making our stay so pleasant. If you are the manager paying them, they deserve a bonus

We had a lovely holiday at this fine hotel. Great choice of food and a comfortable bedroom. The staff are kind and helpful and the area is delightful

There are critical reviews of this hotel out there but they say more about the writer than the hotel. Yes it is 850 metres from the beach but that information is clearly stated. The price reflects that as well

We have been to this hotel eight times and once again we had a wonderful time. The hotel is a small family run hotel. Nothing is to much trouble for the staff they are warm welcoming and friendly

The staff were all very friendly & the cleaners worked very hard to keep everywhere very clean & tidy - we had a lovely relaxing stay

Everything is modern in the room. Breakfast is good, but could be crowded and at these moments serving dishes are empty. Not enough staff to serve, clean, and prepare tables. We were there at the end of the season

Cannot imagine how they are operating in the season. Beach is nice but the water is shallow and you need to walk for a good 5 min to be able to go deep in the water. Beach chairs are very low and not really comfortable

The restaurants near the hotel had a huge variety of different foods & they were all great. However, none of that would stop me coming back to this little gem of a hotel, situated right on the beach in Agia Marina

Nice comfortable chairs are around the pool, but only 4 of them, and you cannot move them even a little bit to get a shade. They do not open any umbrellas on the deck with the statement that it is a wind

Our flight got delayed and thus we arrived later than expected and the hotel offered complimentary breakfast for our stay which helped get our vacation back on track! Near restaurants and shops and lots of parking! Loved every secod of our stay! Kudos to the Team, they are experts at customer service!

The beachfront location is simply unbeatable – you’re just steps from the sea, and they even provide beach towels, which made relaxing by the water effortless. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff

The location is great, you have a walking distance to everything you need (beach, supermarkets, restaurants, shops) Big and nice rooms with great balconys, the room had everything you need and were always very clean! I have a 1-year old and they put a very good bed/crib for my son in the room

Me and a group of 17 people (5 kids) stayed here for a week. The staff and the family that owns this hotel were so friendly and so kind! We felt so welcome and at home

We spent quite a bit of time around the pool/ bar area & were looked after very well by Costas & Marina. The hotel is in a quiet area but within walking distance of lovely tavernas, local shops, supermarkets etc

We have stayed at Folia Hotel & Apartments in Agia Marina several times now since our first visit in 2014. It’s the only holiday resort we’ve ever really returned to and we’ve now been there about 8 times

Folia Hotel has become our home from home. It is a traditional Greek Hotel run for many years by the same family, Giannis Milonakis and his brother, Nikos, whom have become our true friends

It’s about 5-10 minutes walk away to the lovely long sandy beach which is accessible from various points along the Main Road, although it’s a bit longer returning as it’s uphill that way

It quite simply tastes wonderful !!! In the evening there is a choice of several Traditional Greek/Cretan Family Tavernas in Agia Marina Old Town which is a 10-15 minute walk away

The pool area is always very clean, well maintained and there are generally enough sun-beds for most people who want one. (No early morning “reserving” shenanigans needed here)

I enjoyed a massage treatment that was both deeply relaxing and highly professional — one of the best I’ve ever had. The pool and sauna area offered the perfect escape after a long day, making my stay even more memorable

The large clean studios near the beach with the kitchen and a huge balcony. There is all that you may need, kitchen, coffee maker, refrigerator, iron, hair dryer, air conditioning, and also all infrastructure around

Very nice and clean Studios with see view. Good location near the beach. The stuff is very friendly and professionally. We visit it every year and we are very satisfied. We recommend it without doubt.

Great location as the beach is on your doorstep, loungers are available at 2. There is a shared pool with the hotel next to the apartments that you can access as long as you order drinks (which is fair enough)

Bus stop is directly opposite the apartments, and there are plenty of shops, supermarkets and restaurants along the road in both directions. It's also reasonably quiet on a nighttime if you are a light sleeper like me

George the manager of the apartments is friendly and helpful with everything from advice on where to eat, shop and excursions. The place is kept meticulously clean every day by George and the lovely Valentina

Stayed in Despina this week and the location is brilliant with fantastic restaurants and bars nearby. You are right on the beach and the pool which is shared is right next to the hotel
