We spent 12 nights here. Listed as 4* but certainly does make that grade. Breakfast was really good staff friendly & helpful, buffet style, plenty of choice. Avoid room 600 if you can. Bathroom floods & is like something from the 70's. Patio area is the main walk way to other rooms - no privacy. Pool area really good, not supposed to be able to reserve a sunbed, but by breakfast there were plenty of towels out and mist beds gone. Pool bar area, we went once and received a very cool welcome, so never went back. All in all a great holiday but hotel a bit of a let down.

As good as it gets for every reason you can think of. This was our second year in a row as a family visiting Theo hotel and we have never been back to the same place more than once until now. The staff are excellent and polite always happy to see you and help with anything. The rooms were very clean and tidy with excellent views all round. Location is a big part of why we went back as it’s close enough to the beach and bars and restaurants but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. The food is top notch and a great breakfast everyday full of choice for everyone. The beer and cocktails are tremendous and brought to you by the pool . We hired a car for the week with plenty of space to park right outside the apartment. Definitely booking again for 2026 and we can’t wait! X

Theo hotel was calming and relaxed from the minute we arrived. Minutes away from the beach and surrounded by cool little bars and beach side restaurants. The staff were friendly and always happy to help assist you for your daily needs and advise us for day trips. The hotel has a beautiful pool with a great bar and spa etc and the daily breakfast was vast in variety. I will definitely come here again..

Listed as 4* I didn't feel like it quite made that grade. Bedrooms very very basic. Plain walls. No decorations / pictures etc. Towels were tiny.
Tea and coffee making facilities. But no tea or coffee supplied.
Music round the pool is dire. Techno base music. Really intrusive. Requested it be changed. But no. Its from the Internet. So couldn't be changed.
It's on a steep hill. Not suitable for mobility issues.

Isola restaurant ruined ou trip for their horrible food and extremely overpriced and disrespectful dish options. We ordered a Ribeye Steak which cost us 36 euros for 200g of meat and another 20 grams of vegetables. We complained and asked to speak to a manager which was disrespectful the whole time, and initially said he would not come to speak to us because he “was too busy” when he simply just wanted to ignore us. We spoke to the manager of the Theo hotel about this matter and they did nothing about it. They rob their customers and create situations that are disrespectful and do not care about their guests. I was forced to pay for disrespect a horrible meal and cynicism coming from both managers. When I got upset they attempted to intimidate me by saying that I was out of line and did nothing to solve the situation. I paid more than $1500 euros at my stay of 4 days there just to have my whole experience and vacation ruined on the last day. These people are mercenaries and they do not care about their guests. I do not recommend this place and will tell you that you will have horrible experiences at this restaurant and their partner hotel will not do anything to even attempt to resolve any problem. Very disappointed and angry! My vacation was ruined by this horrible customer service. Waiters where also obnoxious and told me I had no rights and refused to get me a manager, staff made a sham of us saying bye in an fake way as if they were treating us well, when I was visibly dissatisfied and had assertively complained and made it know to the whole restaurant and hotel. They do not admit to anything they do wrong, they act like they are always right in all times there is an issue. Also, the manager from the restaurant in the hotel is very rude and talks down to his costumers and kicks people out of the restaurant if the time is over by 2 minutes in a very nasty way instead of speaking politely to guests. Many guests at the hotel made it know to me that the guy is very rude.

Hotel Theo perched above Agia Marina is a great resort to explore the N.W coast of Crete. A stylish, well presented apartment with panoramic views out to sea.A lift took you down to beach level. An excellent reception at 2am set the tone for the week .We found the staff really helpful, kind, informative and personable. Highlights : Back massage in the spa Spotless pool with pool bar Excellent buffet breakfast Trips on the Land Train

The hotel and our rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely and the pool bar offered affordable snacks and drinks. We were taken good care by helpful and friendly staff. Guest relations shared information about the area and local activities and helped us with bookings so everything was made easy for us. I was surprised drinks, not even water, were not included to dinner, we had half board. Isola restaurant was a little bit of a disappointment with staff forgetting us even though the restaurant wasn't crowded. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay at Theo Hotel.

We had such a lovely stay at Theo Hotel. The food and drinks were wonderful. I would especially recommend the Cretan night on wednesday's! The food was incredible, and the music and dancers made the evening amazing. However, the best thing about the hotel is the staff. They make you feel welcome, and treat you as friends. A special shoutout to Elli! ❤️

Family holiday * We stayed for 10 days at Theo- Crete. We based our choice on this hotel upon reviews on Trip Advisor and cannot express how happy we have been with the hotel and its staff. Hotel- is really personal,Great food, pool and bar area are a really nice vibe with comfortable sun loungers/shaded escapes/good choice of drinks on the AI. Staff- Have all been so kind, always smiling and encouraging a chat with you. They all work so hard keeping the venue clean and tidy. Management- Elli has been our host, she has been so welcoming, and pro-active in helping with day trips/car hire and even sending a gift to celebrate my wife’s birthday.
