The hotel is positioned on the beach and the dining area is just inches from the sand, giving a magnificent view and a tranquil place to eat

Whilst there my mother in law slipped (yes they came on honeymoon only because we brought our wedding day forward a year 😂) the hotel was great with sorting doctors and getting her seen quickly staff were very attentive

Andreas the bar man is fantastic always welcoming in fairness all the staff are but he stood out from the rest. Loads of pools to chose from we had a swim up room and hardly used it because the sea is so calm

We will definitely be returning. If it’s pure relaxation you want this is the place. A bus stops right outside hotel to go into Chania takes about 40mins

This was our 2nd visit and we were welcomed like family ,everything was beyond expectation ,amazing accomodation, staff who more than go the extra mile ,food is outstanding, choice was fabulous , absolutely nothing to fault

He offered us an upgrade on our board which financially didn't really benefit us. We had to accept the situation as we had no choice. 45 and the move to it was smooth

I must add the rooms had the best air conditioning system I’ve experienced! I was able to sleep comfortably in 40 degrees as well as being able to blow dry my hair in the evenings without melting!! The Hotel main building was also immaculate, the manager Peter has done a great job in the renovation

We have just booked to come again in 2026 which will be around our 18th holiday to this hotel. We have always loved coming here. The changes that have been made over the last few years are huge

Our favourite was the white party disco. Although the location is remote and there isn’t a lot to do in the local area the hotel is big enough without feeling trapped. We would definitely visit again

The team at the Greek restaurant helped surprise my husband with a birthday cake on our first night too. My sons loved the water slides and pool and the evening entertainment was fun

We loved it before but now it’s brought a whole new level. There is so much choice and everyone is catered for in my opinion. The hotel is very clean and tidy

The food is very good and better than a lot of 5 star resorts we have visited. The A’la carte Greek and Asian restaurants are amazing with the food and service excellent

Wonderful location, 2 minutes to the beach. Excellent services and competent staffs. Food was delicious as well, and cats will stare at you when you eat. Highly recommend!

Lovely restaurant along the beach front think it was called Mythos the one with blue table cloths at the side of pizza oven. Trips land train ok to blue lagoon but not worth the money. Local buses excellent service

Not in a really good area as nothing much along the seafront. Beach not fab stones and shingle with a tiny bit of sand. Jet2 needs to update description. Food not really good , poor choice and lukewarm

Not much at kolymbari but a nice beach with sand. Platanias lots of gift shops to browse

The hotel was clean and well maintained throughout, including the pool and gardens. No issue with sun-beds either, there are plenty to go round. Plenty of variety at every meal time

We had a wonderful stay at Maleme Mare, right from the friendly welcome. The staff were friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble

Great hotel a few meters away from the beach. Verry clean, nice rooms, and friendly staff, especially the chefs. The food was exceptional (breakfast and dinner)

If you are looking for relaxation, rejuvenation, a clean and quiet environment and above all very, very kind people, this is the ideal place. They treated us like family, and we can't wait to go back next summer.

Everything was perfect ! From the bar to the buffet, including cleaning service and reception. The staff is smiling and pleasant no matter the time or location of the hotel. I honestly have nothing to complain about.

The beach in front of the hotel is a pebble beach, bring shoes for swimming. It is certainly not the most beautiful beach in Crete, but free deckchairs and parasols provided by the hotel are available

I recomend Ledra Maleme hotel!! Nice, modern and friendly hotel. God food and a nice pool. Private beach 200 meters from the hotel. Quiet and peaceful, but short distance to Platanias sentrum.

It was spotlessly clean, perfectly located just 5 mins from the beach, supermarket and local restaurants, the room was modern and beds comfortable and clean

Spacious rooms for the whole family, nice pool, walking distance to beach. Nice to have a kitchenette to prepare breakfast. Busses to Platanias for lots of restaurants.

After many years of resorts we decided to go on a smaller place for a more quiet experience. Our choice was excelent! We found a very nice, quiet and clean hotel with very nice people

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely amazing holiday here! From the moment we arrived until the very last day, everything was perfect

The food was also fantastic – with delicious Aegean dishes and a very wide selection of vegetarian options, there was always something fresh and tasty to enjoy

The reception, restaurant, bar, and housekeeping staff were always so kind, helpful, and smiling – they truly made us feel welcome

The complex has several buildings with a few rooms each, so you don't feel crowded. The sea view rooms are right on the beach, those on the ground floor don't even need to use the door to get to

The hotel is new, modern, and very practical, while at the same time surrounded by beautiful nature

The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and spacious, and the rooms with private pools are simply luxurious! A few minor downsides: to reach the beach, you have to cross the road, and sunbeds are available only on the hotel grounds

The same applies to the hotel towels. We booked “all inclusive” but here’s what that means: • Water is tap water. • Service is basic, nowhere near 5-star

We stayed at Galini Palace Hotel — overall, it’s a great option for a relaxing vacation. The staff are very friendly, always ready to help and accommodate guests

Access to the beach requires crossing the road and climbing down rocks (at the very least, proper steps could have been built). Sunbeds on the beach are owned by the hotel, but you have to pay for them

Room cleaning was done regularly, and towels were changed every day. The food was varied, with a beautiful buffet-style presentation — there’s something for every taste

There are also two minor issues that I found disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. Firstly, at the spa, I was surprised by the rule that prohibits being completely nude under the towel in the sauna

Really nice hotel with plenty of good facilities and a great layout. The pool is enormous and well lit so it really stands out at night and the private beach is a lovely touch. The food does let it down though

The rooms are amazing, the staff upgraded us and we had our own plunge pool which was a nice bonus. The spa facilities are brilliant and the massages are amazing. Will definitely be staying here again

The hotel is really great, with beautiful sea views and a super large swimming pool. The children had a lot of fun. The all-inclusive service allows you to enjoy drinks and food anywhere in the hotel

Upon check out, the doormen assisted us with our luggage and drove us to the parking garage to load our car. We really appreciated the kindness of the staff and will definitely be staying here again!!

We stayed at Chrispy for one week. Weather was stunning, pool clean and with plenty of sunbeds. Aquapark has few different slides so there is a choice for everyone. They also have mini slide for the youngest ones

Very beautiful hotel with polite service. Food are very delicious but the only downside was its repetition. Swimming pool and slides are very funny. Animators complemented each day with cool attractions

But it was easy taking the local bus to Chania, Agia Marina or Platanias to visit tourist stores and places. The local bus whent every 20 minutes. The resort was nice and it had much of what you could ask for

Small pool area but always a free sunbed. Not very silent in the rooms and close to the main Road (noice). Breakfast is not amazing, not bad. Amazing staff that are helpfull. And only 15min walk to a lot of restaurants

Best assistance from the owners and room service. Localisation near the beach, tawerns and shops. Deep pool with the zone also for children, comfortable rooms with balcony, WI-Fi- ok

It's an old hotel but the service is good. rooms cleaning every dag and the breakfast is very good. The location of the hotel is so and so coz its not near to the beach. it takes about 15 min to go to the beach

Very nice hotel. Good rooms, pool is varm, breakfast was super, dinner was cheap and very good. Also host is superfriendly. I was there 1 week and I do recommend.

Of course there is only one restaurant and one swimming pool! In every thing that concerned us it was very good. The rooms and public spaces were always clean. The pool areas were comfortable

We have just had a 10 day holiday here, (23rd September-3rd October),and really enjoyed our stay, despite badly spraining my ankle on the fifth day!! The staff are all lovely and Katerina on reception was extremely helpful and kind after my accident

Staff friendly and very helpful. Shower room was dark as it had floor and up to ceiling modern charcoal colored tiles, still dark with light on! All areas very clean with well maintained pool

I was given ice packs and a bandage, and she even put it on for me. She helped with local information and organised car hire

We were all-inclusive, never had to queue or wait for a table at meal times. So good, we've booked to go back next year

Ten minute stroll from a lovely beach & a handful of tavernas along the beach, ten minutes stroll from the village centre with a super market for all your provisions, a bakery and a few more tavernas & a couple of grill bars

Hotel staff are very friendly and very helpful nothing was too much trouble , we only had to ask once ( ie- for a kettle and extra bedding) and it was sorted straight away

The staff at Aphea Village were excellent. Nothing was to much for them to do for us. From reception to bar staff - they were amazing

Rooms were cleaned everyday with new towels and bedding except Sundays but they still emptied our bins and if you asked them they would get new towels or bedding for you , The pool bar run by kostas and loanna was amazing , can’t thank them enough for their service and how they make everyone soo welcome , once again nothing was too much trouble and certainly know how to look after there customers...

The whole staff was very nice. The hotel is close to the city and the airport. There is a direct connection to the beach and a supermarket very close by. The owner was very nice to us and helped us a lot
