Hotel was isolated. Not much entertainment for adults, but the kids loved the discos. The beach was close by, but the pools were freezing - not heated for this time of year. The shower head was broken, the air conditioning didn’t work properly. The food wasn’t very hot either.

Just returned from a 2 week stay. Didn't use the breakfast as the time slots didn't suit so can't comment. Stayed in a standard family suite which was up on the 4th floor with only stairs. The good: Hotel's location is great - right in the center of town. The pool and bar on the roof - so great relaxation at the afternoon. Very friendly staff Hotel ia very clean. Others: Breakfast was OK The mattress was pretty hard - some like it, others do not. Pretty personal taste. Bottom line - when arriving to town, the hotel provides good value for money.

Oceanis was so much better than expected. The staff was more than helpful and welcoming and left a tremendous impression as we rolled into Kavala for a brief stay. The room was spacious and the balcony room had a great view, but that said, everyone has access to the roof garden and pool, and the views from there are unlimited. Not bad! We have room without balcony, it was clean, the room without natural light, relative small, but elegant! Bathroom big and very clean, a lot of natural light … not like in the room :) … Air conditioning worked very well, good breakfast bufet ….

The Blue Bay Hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere and amazing views. We stayed for 6 nights but wished it was longer. Breakfast was of a great quality and plenty of choice. Staff were so helpful and would do anything to make your stay wonderful. The two pools were so lovely and clean as was the whole hotel and rooms. We will definitely be going back soon.

We have just had the most amazing stay at the Blue Bay Hotel in Halkidiki. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. They always go out of their way to make you feel special and welcome. Halkidiki is a fantastic place and if going to Afitos then the Blue Bay hotel is the only place to stay.
