Guests praise the spectacular sea views from rooms and public spaces such as the restaurant and infinity pool. The private beach and well-maintained pool areas, including a family pool and an adults-only infinity pool, are highly appreciated. Staff members like Veselina and several restaurant employees receive compliments for helpfulness and attentive service. Rooms are described as spacious, modern, clean, and well-equipped, with some suites featuring private pools. The breakfast buffet is generally well-regarded for variety and quality, with special mention of the omelet station. Several reviews mention understaffing, causing slow service at the beach bar, restaurant, and pool areas. Food quality and menu variety at lunch and dinner have been criticized as limited and overpriced by some guests. The hotel’s hillside layout can be challenging for families with young children due to distance from rooms to the beach and dining areas. Housekeeping service has been inconsistent, including irregular room cleaning and infrequent linen changes. Some guests report maintenance issues such as malfunctioning air conditioning and missing bathroom doors, with slow resolution.

The resort’s elevated hilltop position provides panoramic sea views from many rooms and public areas, including the restaurant and infinity pool.

Tips

From the very moment I stepped into the reception, I was stunned by the view in front of me – the hotel’s location is more than perfect, offering breathtaking scenery in every direction. Striking beauty. The resort is designed with the guest’s comfort in mind – excellently distributed buildings, walkways, functional and spacious suites.

I liked that guests have access to a private beach, a family pool with children, and an adults-only infinity pool. The gym is well-equipped and once again offers an amazing view.

The restaurant offers a simple menu, but the food is tasty. My only remark is that the staff, who serve both the restaurant and the pools during the day, are not enough, and sometimes you have to look for a waiter to place an order. I believe the new management will solve this issue next season.

I would specifically like to praise and thank Veselina, who offered us many different services and organized them for us. Thanks to her, we and many other guests took advantage of numerous opportunities, which made our holiday even more enjoyable and diverse. For me, she is the ideal guest relations manager – always checking how we are, whether we are satisfied with the service, if we need anything, and arranging it right away.

Thanks also to the general manager, who gave personal attention to the guests and clearly supports his team.

I fell in love with this resort and I highly recommend it.

Evisa (jenny), Maria, Jessica, Roshan, made every day through Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner a really nice experience with their service to us, the staff here are great and it tops off the experience we had. We had food and drinks at the beach on the terraces or by the infinity pool and they took great care of us through the day, thanks guys.

What I liked about the hotel:
The room was spacious, modern, and well-equipped with all amenities. The balcony had a beautiful sea view, which we enjoyed a lot. The beach is very nice, and the pool area is also pleasant. The common spaces are beautifully maintained with flowers and plants, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was good, and I especially appreciated the two younger girls who were always kind and smiling, as well as the lady at the omelet stand.

What I didn’t like about the hotel:
Our room was located at the top of the hill, even though we had requested several times to be placed closer to the beach since we were traveling with a baby. This made it very difficult to carry the stroller and bags up and down every day to reach the beach or breakfast area. All service areas are located downstairs. The hotel manager suggested we request a buggy whenever we needed to move around, but the waiting times were too long to make it practical. The drivers were very nice, but they were constantly busy with other tasks around the resort.

The restaurant and beach bar menus were very limited. After staying 7 days, we had to go outside the resort every evening to find more variety, as the food selection was disappointing and overpriced for the quality offered. Another detail I didn’t understand was the $7 service fee for room service.

Housekeeping was also inconsistent and below expectations. Our sheets were only changed once in 7 days. The cleaning schedule was irregular—one day the room wasn’t cleaned until 3 p.m., and the next day the cleaner knocked at 9:30 a.m. while we were still in bed.

We stayed at this nice looking hotel as a family of four for two weeks between the end of August and start of September. Although I would admit we came away from this trip relaxed, the hotel has a huge amount to improve upon considering where it prices itself. In general, the staff lack any sort of leadership from front of house through to the beach bar. Management of any form is absent in terms of guidance to staff and looking after guests and their requests. Breakfast, although good food, is chaos. Sometimes they ask for room numbers, sometimes not. Simple coffee orders, clearing plates to avoid wasps and assigning tables would have been a start. Lunch at the empty pool restaurant was almost laughable, our order was taken but couldn’t have been more wrong. I waited ten minutes for two soft drinks and took it upon myself to try and get the drinks myself. At one point a member of staff asked me what I’d ordered! The beach / sunbed situation is interesting. Even though Watersports were part of the reason we booked, they were unable to offer any of the paddle boards and kayaks piled on the jetty due to the insurance contract running out (what?!). Some sort of refund should be in place for this. The beach itself is well policed in terms of drinks service, removal of towels etc - unfortunately the jetty further away from the beach is ignored. Piles of coffee cups and bottles were left for hours on end but when I flagged this with hotel staff they seemed to take offence and said they were too busy to clear that area regularly. To continue the theme, we had an issue with our air con not working when we arrived, this was fixed straight away - great! What wasn’t so great was that the “fix” meant one of the bedroom lights turning on several times in the night on its own accord. This was flagged with reception, an engineer apparently saw to this - but the problem persisted. I gave up. The only plus point was the kind bell boy who took us up the hill every evening to save our legs. A lovely helpful guy who always insisted on doing this - much to the frowns on those working reception. To summarise, this isn’t a bad hotel at all, the location is great and our room was exactly as hoped in terms of size and looks. When you’ve spent a large amount on an annual break to spend precious time with your family, it’s the small things that matter. We won’t be returning.

Very bad experience, location is excellent apart that everything else is not worth it. Unprofessionalism at the peak.

Several issues from missing door in the room that separates the room area with the shower and we were family making our showering experience uncomfortable having a kid in the room with zero privacy! Door never been fix and we were there 3 nights. check in giving us different room from the one we paid after an argument with the reception manager had to come and assign the correct room. call at 1:00 am waking us up to move our car having mixed up car number plates with other room. Compensating wise they didn't offer nothing to make our experience pleasant not even a complimentary drink!

5/5 stars level of service and location.. unmatched scenery and an overall experience of tranquility and relaxation. The room is spotless and cleaned everyday. The beach is quiet and with crystal clear waters with sand. Family friendly as far depth is concerned.. breakfast is of quality and with endless choices. Staff is nice and polite.. a bit understaffed maybe on the beach bar and a bit disappointing, but nonetheless a good experience. Highly recommended for some easygoing and relaxing.. the private pool seemed a bit extra in the beginning, but it is a huge bonus for those early mornings and late afternoons..

Mövenpick Sivota enjoys a fantastic location right by the sea, surrounded by stunning scenery. The bar, restaurant, and pool areas are beautifully decorated with a touch of elegance that enhances the overall atmosphere. The front desk staff was very polite and informative during the check-in process, making us feel welcome from the start. Breakfast was generous and of good quality, with a wide variety of options. However, the service gave the impression of a friendly but not fully trained team. At times, staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, which was also noticeable during lunch service. A disappointing moment occurred at the beach bar: we ordered some smoothies, and after waiting 20–30 minutes, we asked the waiter where our drinks were. He casually responded that the fruits had run out. We found it unacceptable that no one informed us, as we were simply waiting with no explanation. Oddly enough, after expressing our dissatisfaction, the drinks arrived within 3 minutes—which made us question what had really happened. Our room was clean, nicely decorated, and contributed to a comfortable stay. Overall, it was a positive experience, and with some improvements in service training, the hotel could truly stand out as a top destination in the area.

We stayed 5 nights. Overall, the hotel is beautiful and has great potential, but my review is mixed because while some things are excellent, others are far below 5-star standards.

Positives:
• Rooms and all areas are very clean.
• The beach is perfect: clean sand, great sunbeds, and a beautiful pool area.
• Golf carts are very helpful (the resort is large, and you can call one anytime).
• Parking is spacious and convenient.
• Staff are very friendly and polite (special thanks to waiter Diallo ⭐️).
• The view from the sea-view rooms and the restaurant is truly special.
• Beds are comfortable (8/10).

Negatives:
• Staffing is clearly not enough. No one at the entry gate, no staff at the reception door, and no manager in the restaurant to welcome guests. Too few waiters, the same staff running everywhere to keep things going.
• Breakfast is disappointing for a 5-star hotel: limited variety, poor labeling, and coffee is bad. Tables are often not cleaned because waiters are overwhelmed. Feels more like a 4 star breakfast.
• Dinner menu looks nice on paper, but when the food arrives, it’s not at the expected level. Honestly, the chef should be reconsidered, as food in the city is much better. Many other guests we spoke with felt the same (some even switch hotels the following year).

Overall:
This hotel could be excellent if service and food quality improve. Right now, you pay more than what you get.

The property is stunning and has everything to be a true 5-star Mövenpick, but you need more staff, better training, and a stronger kitchen team. Either raise the quality or adjust the pricing.

We will return to check improvements and hopefully update this review.

A newly renovated resort with nice views and pet friendly with nice private beach (shared with another hotel)… Nothing much, in high season the property is unfortunately understaffed, parking is a bit difficult as well… It has one area for breakfast, one restaurant and a beach bar.
Pools were fine one family and one adults only.
