Hotels with pool on first line in Kos

Room was a good size, comfy bed and all SC facilities if required, fridge, microwave etc. Only slight negative was bathroom which was fine, but bit dated, however considering cost of holiday this was not a problem

Personally we enjoyed the breakfast and variety. Pool area was immaculate and very well maintained. Would definitely recommend staying here and will hopefully return in the future

The hotel is spotless clean and the staff are amazing Big shout out to Peter and Angelo behind the bar Made our evening’s Also Yiannis by the pool Interacted with the children Even tho we didn’t have any with us we enjoyed watching him make a fuss of them Wouldn’t return again as we did not like Kos Town Even though we have visited many Greeks islands

Or the bar and then another to reception shame really as it would be a really lovely hotel if on one complex Pool umbrellas and beds need changing desperately

Kos wasn’t up at the top of our list Hotel is somewhat disjointed as there are 5 different buildings and you have to cross roads to go to the pool

Breakfast was very good and something for everyone, if you want traditional English breakfast, with English std food like Richmond sausages, hash browns etc go somewhere else or go Self Catering

The nearby beach was also pleasant and the beautiful sunsets were a highlight each evening. There was plenty of choice of food and drink at breakfast, lunch and dinner and the quality was always good

The place and the staff are excellent. Really enjoyed our family time. It's a shame that the place is being renewed and transformed into an adults-only hotel.

Car hire is the best way to explore other beaches and resorts on the island as the location is a bit removed from the main tourist areas

The hotel is bricks and mortar, the staff make it! We had a wonderful time. Special thanks to George and Theo in the bar. Billy collecting and keeping every table clean. The housekeeper very friendly

The restaurant staff, especially Roy. As it was end of season they were allowed to join in with us at the dj night, and it was the best experience

One criticism, the last day , the beach bar and pool bar was closed

Wonderful place, great hotel with friendly staff and good service. Very tasty cuisine for every taste. The beach has comfortable sun loungers, sand and a smooth entry.

We were given the choice and were showed both rooms before we had to decide. We decided on the suite with shared pool and it was amazing. We had our own little patio with loungers and we spent most of our days there

This hotel is fantastic! Myself and my partner had a spectacular stay here. We had a swim up pool room which was excellent. We visited the spa and I had a Cretan massage - my therapist was Zoe

Our room was clean and modern. We were lucky and were offered a room upgrade from a premium suite with sea view to a premium suite with a shared pool

It was the BEST massage I have ever had. The time, care and effort that went into it was unbelievable. They made us both feel Incredibly welcome and comfortable and I walked out feeling like I was walking on air

Only issue here for me were the cats as few running around the hotel. ️ Beach The hotel has a private beach with a volleyball court. It was quiet, even in peak season, but quite stoney with ample sunbeds

My kids especially enjoyed playing boules, darts & water aerobics lots of fun and well-organized as well as the usual work off your breakfast games in the pool

Pool Two pools—one larger than the other—both very clean and never overcrowded, even in August. Entertainment The entertainment team was great

While the beach and transport options could be improved, we had a great time and would recommend the hotel and would like to come back again

Tv’, safe and ample wardrobe space. The bathroom was modern, with a great shower and complimentary toiletries. Service All staff were consistently pleasant and polite, which made the experience even more enjoyable

Improving transport infrastructure would really benefit guests and the island overall. ✅ Final Verdict Overall, the hotel is a clean, friendly, and relaxing with great food, service, and entertainment

Hotel was fully booked but it never felt like there were too many people and no problem getting a sun lounger at either pool or the beach

Really good place to stay at. The staff is really friendly and helpfull. The food quality is really good and fresh, everyday you have other choises. Next time we go again to Smy Kos Beach!

There is a mini market just near the pool and you get most of amenities. The room which we got had an amazing view! The room was clean and every day they cleared the room

If you didn't want to participate you could go to the second bar near the beach which was really quite and nice to talk

One of the best experiences we ever had. Let me start from the location. This place is 20 minutes from the airport (Taxi costs 25-30 euros). The reception was super friendly and explained everything upon arrival

Entertainment team are so very friendly and the aqua gym each morning was great. All inclusive drinks are everything we needed and the constant supply of ice cream for the children was amazing

It gets a bit windy so if it is not great, go to Mylos a private beach bar that has less wind. Great food, excellent service and superb people at this resort

Anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway then this is definitely the place. Location of the hotel is spot on, they have there own beach across the road and it’s amazing. My wife and I will definitely be returning

Very friendly and professional staff. We were quite spoiled. Beautiful view of the ocean and of Turkey across the sea. Fantastic breakfast buffet!

Everyone went above and beyond every day. Kos has over 10 miles of dedicated bike lanes. You can coordinate bike rentals at the hotel. The beach across the street for the guests was wonderful and warm

Elena, Katerina and Fokion at the front at night were always willing to offer their experience on recommendations to do. They were always a warm gesture in the evening. If I forgot anyone, I apologize

Alexandra, Adriana, Atea and Michael were always willing and able to make the breakfast experience so wonderful. A great assortment of eggs, meats, breads, desserts and coffee selections were amazing

We spent a fantastic family holiday with this hotel. From the view from our balcony to the girls on the entertainment crew we have no faults nothing to complain about. So much food to chose from at every meal

the atmosphere at the hotel was not the best and the entertainment was not good , it was disappointing you felt no need to dress up as watching the entertainment was outside from the canteen under the shelter and very cold in the nights

Arrived at the resort to not been checked in tidy TUI had Made A mistake of only booking two the room rather than four had to ring TUI to sort the issue out and another hour before checking in which not good after

the drinks were terrible esp the Diet Coke tasted so sweet and cheep cola. the food at the hotel did have a nice range of salad. But a lot of pork on the meals daily and food seemed very salty

A number of hours travelling. the room was on a big hill not good if you have disability and another two flight of stairs. The first week unable to leave my hotel due to the hill

Only slightly negative thing we could say is that we wished they’d keep the pool open after 7pm, would be nice to go for a nighttime dip

21st July 2025 & 13th October 2025 I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the wonderful Gaia Gardens Hotel not once, but twice this year – first in July with my two teenage daughters (aged 14 and 16), and again in October as a solo traveller

The restaurant was another highlight: fresh, flavourful food with plenty of choice, served in a relaxed and friendly setting. Every meal felt like it was made with love

Our room was fabulous – recently renovated, spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and blissfully quiet. It was the perfect retreat after days spent exploring or relaxing

It was my sisters birthday whilst she way staying at Gaia gardens and I wanted to see if the hotel could arrange a small surprise for her as I was back in the UK

From the moment we arrived, Gaia Gardens felt less like a hotel and more like a loving home tucked away in paradise

The food was delicious and there's SO much choice. The beach is just a short walk too and a great way to spend the day and watch the sunrise. All round perfect week away and a little bit disappointed to be home so soon

Perfect for families with children. The staff is outstanding and very responsive to answer any questions you might have. They are quick in responding to your emails. It's a little bit of a walk to the beach

As we stayed towards the end of the season, the staff had really started to reduce, leaving two young people covering reception, they did not have a day off in the 10 days we were there, even though they were working long hours they they stayed really friendly and always helpful

Third visit back to the Gaia Palace. Staff were absolutely amazing and very friendly throughout our visit. We stayed in a superior double room which was excellent

The beautiful sandy beach with bar and toilets is a short walk with free sun beds for Gaia Palace guests

Lovely clean hotel. We went all-inclusive so had a good selection of food and drinks. Plenty of sunbeds and pools so it never looked busy. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday I would recommend staying here.

Room were clean but very dated if your on the larger side the shower head is by bath taps so not much room to move. Around the pool crowded felt as though sunbeds were on top of each other but pool was nice

This was a last minute booking for myself and my mother who is in her 80s. Check-in was straightforward and our room slightly dated but clean. All sea facing rooms overlook the reception roof but that's not a problem

Definitely not a 4* On arrival we had to pay €100 for the local taxes as it’s €10 a night for a 4* then we had to pay €100 for aircon as apparently the season ended 15th Sept but staff told us it ends Oct 13th and when we asked other people some weren’t t charged

Big shout-out to the animation team for keeping everyone entertained and creating such a fun vibe every day! Especially Anna and Enzo — you two are absolute stars! Thanks for all the laughs and great energy, you really made our holiday unforgettable ❤️

Location isn't the best for shops/restaurants as you need to head into town for this. Hotel is fabulous clean, comfy & great value for money. The staff are friendly & very helpful especially the ladies on reception

A few negatives not enough space around the pool for the number of guests and more sunbeds needed

Watch out for the E bike as everyone is on them, if you want to visit kos town often and not willing to walk or wait your going to be renting a beach buggy or a E bike

No information in the rooms or reception regarding meal times, bus details etc, there is a button that can be pressed to let the cleaners know whether you would like your room cleaning, it would be good to be informed of this, we found it by chance

Lovely holiday, the staff are all lovely, very polite and helpful. We had a lovely room with our own sun loungers which was cleaned daily. Food considering it is AI was very good plenty of choice

The other food we did try was lovely. The location is a little downside, the buses were 1 every 50mins and it was a walk of 2

There is a TV which is nice but only rolling American/European news channels a channel in English with something other than news would be good

We loved our stay at the Astron. On arrival we did think the corridor to room and room was a bit tired looking , it was late at night but next morning room is roomy and bright, lovely view of pool

Everyone was so nice the 3 guys at reception, Jenny at the pool bar was lovely, the young man at the man bar was so friendly and always smiling

Always so pleasant and friendly as we came and went. The real wow factor was the view from our balcony, room 205 , absolutely amazing view overlooking the beautiful marina

Myself and my husband have just returned after spending a wonderful week in this gem of a hotel located right on the marina in beautiful Kos Town

The highlight of our stay was definitely the evening bar staff!!! Michael and Georgia deserve a special mention, always friendly, engaging, and full of energy, they made our nights truly enjoyable and added a personal touch that made us feel at home

The hotel's central location is a major advantage. It's a new and comfortable hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. My family and I also gave it top marks for cleanliness

The housekeeping team are excellent ! Happy hour in the evening at the Pool side bar is easily affordable and a lovely end to any evening

I stayed at the hotel In September 2021. The place and location is perfect. 2 minutes to the port and city center. Nice shops and restaurants around. I can highly recommend the hotel and will be back

It’s a nice hotel in general with friendly staff and an ok location. The only major problem was the bed which was way too hard to be comfortable.

We went self catering, but eat out most of the time. I would comment that the kitchen utensils & cups etc were spotless. The pool was a traditional rectangular shape & although quite big, it did tend to get over crowded

I thought it would be better if I went to any normal swimming pool in any Dutch village

The hotel is made up of several blocks. We stayed in a first floor one bed apartment in one of the new blocks. Check in was easy & throughout our stay the reception staff were very helpful, including arranging car hire

Our apt had a kitchen with two single beds & a bedroom with double bed. The rooms were made up every day & were clean, comfortable & spacious. A special thanks to our cleaner Anna & her ever smiling, friendly colleagues

Beautiful private beach with free sun beds, we never had an issue getting one. Hotel book all your chosen excursions for you. Room very clean and cleaned everyday. Staff are friendly and helpful

The standards have dropped since we last visited. Definitely not 4 star, 3 at best. It has great views and a convenient beach although the free sun beds are rickety and uncomfortable

The beach is a bit stoney and unkempt but still good. Best beach is magic beach just along the coast. Best staff were Anna on reception and Katrina on the bar

The whole toilet floor flooded each time we used it. The toilet was too close to the shower and got soaked. The main issue was the lack of hot water. We couldn’t shower other than between 4-5pm

Setting is beautiful and close to bars, restaurants and shops. Room was modern with electronic controlled blinds. Toiletries in bathroom provided. Tea and coffee making facilities in room

The owners were always hovering around and we felt as if we were always being watched. The rooms are spacious and kept clean by the daily cleaner. She was super efficient and really friendly

Special mention goes to Nicholas and his team down at the beach bar they are absolutely fabulous, we have spent most days on the beach and the team have been absolutely amazing, they really look after you and have fun as well

The pools are big with many and kind lifeguards! Delicious coffee every day from the kind Fotini, and the best good morning from Elizabeth the host of the breakfast

When down on the beach go see Nikolas and the team who make great drinks and are super friendly

Bungalow with the sea view was nice, all the time clean thanks to the perfect cleaning service. We can discuss what does it mean sea view but we were satisfied. Our experience with the food was also relatively good

The hotel resort is absolutely beautiful but most of all the staff are so lovely! They are so friendly and have made our stay incredible. The cocktail bar staff in particular were amazing. A special thank you to Lukas!

They smile and you feel very welcome, despite they may be very tired. Sunbeds are always avaliable, but the beach needs to be cleaned regularly

The rooms are basic but comfortable and have ample space and all the things you would need to make you stay relaxed and content, comfortable beds, fabulous shower and big balcony, the TV didn’t have many English channels but we wasn’t there to do that

Food was fresh, delicious and plentiful… be prepared to not have “English Grub” as you are in Greece 🇬🇷 after all!!! Lots of snacks and drinks through the day in between meal times, I have a very fussy 14year old - happy to report she did not starve and always found something! The pool is freshwater and was quite chilly to initially get in, but once that part is over it’s refreshing and a great way...

What an amazing week my daughter and I had!! The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and helpful, the area is quiet and safe… right across from the beach where there are gorgeous sunsets and you can see across to Turkey 🇹🇷 Can also get a boat over from Kos town which is about 40minutes walk, but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel or taxis

The entertainment team were always dancing and great with kids, lots of activities throughout the day (even end of season which is when we went) and also at night

The rooms and pool area are really nice though, although there are signs everywhere asking people not to reserve sun beds, but the staff don't do anything about people that do, so you can look at the pool, and every bed has a towel on it but no one sat there, and it's like the it the whole day

I stayed in 1 bedroom apartment. Had a fridge, hob top, kettle and utensils etc. There is a balcony off the bedroom. Table & chairs & washing line. Large swimming pool which was very clean

They have sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool. Have a poolside bar, food was very nice and prices are good. Good choice of breakfast on buffet. Short walk to the beach, supermarket and other restaurants

Lovely place to stay, very safe and manager dimitris went over and above to help us with queries and room accomodation. Pool is fantastic, pool bar food was nice
