Easily the best meals we had in Kefalos. The service was superb and the food really was something else. Both the grilled Octopus (with bacon jam) and Vegan Burger were some of best food we have ever eaten.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we couldn't have asked for more.
And look at that view as well!

Great food, excellent service. The staff is warm and welcoming. The view from the tables makes Sydney the best place to grab your lunch, dinner or favourite drink. 💯 recommend!

this is only a Review about the restaurant, not about the hotel.
I've been knowing Sydney Restaurant for more than 10 years, it's always a special restaurant, not like a standard Greek Taverna or sth like that.
the food and the ambiance is still great, however the menu has changed quite a bit, it became tighter and some of the overall all-time favorites got erased from it (e.g. pesto pasta with shrimps, spring rolls, ect.)🙄👎🏽. this is very unfortunate.
at least the warm brownie with vanilla ice is still available😋.

Sydney bar & grill was just fantastic. The food was amazing the service and staff are so friendly and even got to use the shishas which was a nice treat indeed! Amazing music choices too. I highly recommend this bar/restaurant for a night out.

Came twice during our week to Kos, amazing cocktails but on the slightly higher side for Kefalos but very very good. Had the buffalo burger both times and quiet possibly one of the best burgers I've ever had. Also had the apple pie for dessert and it was very good. Highly recommend coming!

The most fantastic hotel! We have just returned from another week at Sydney’s and it was the perfect week in the sun. Everyone at this hotel is so friendly and welcoming and they go the extra mile to make your holiday even more memorable. The rooms are immaculate, as is the rest of the hotel. The restaurant serves only delicious food - morning, noon and night! Everything is so fresh and tasty with local ingredients used. We will be back again and again! Magnificent!

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Sydney Hotel and I have to say this was an absolute gem of a find. The room is exactly as described and has a “Casa Cook” feel about it. The staff were all very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, our breakfast waitress Varvara was amazing. The bar/restaurant area had a real vibe about it and although we had read about noise in the room we never heard a thing. A nice touch was every evening coming back to our room and having Leyla waiting for us ! We will definitely be returning.

We stayed at the Sydeny Hotel Kefalos from 8 - 15th September with our friends. It is on the front overlooking the sea and whilst they have music and sometime bands (we were warned about the noise) but we heard nothing. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed by the manager,she and the staff were all so friendly. The bedroom was bright, modern, free safe, free wi-fi, really good air conditioning. The swimming pool, not massive but lovely, surrounded by pretty plants/ greenery, with luxurious sunbeds and sun shades. The choice for breakfast is amazing and really well cooked, all included in the price. The staff are all so friendly and professional. The restaurant in the hotel is superb and whilst the drinks are slightly more expensive, they are well worth it. We would recommend this hotel it is excellent and can’t wait to go back. Thank you Sydeny. Hotel ♥️

We are just finishing our trip at Sydney hotel and we have absolutely loved it. We paid more for a deluxe room which was absolutely stunning - we actually enjoyed going back to the room and chilling with it being so nice. The extra touches like a fridge full of water was greatly appreciated. The staff were incredibly friendly, offering advice and answering questions and always being incredibly attentive. The breakfast was 10/10 quality - all cooked fresh to order with a fantastic choice. The did also eat one night in the restaurant and although a little more pricey - you get what you pay for with it being a contemporary bar with a contemporary menu (in comparison to Greek taverna). My boyfriend got the chocolate suflee with peanut butter inside and said it was to die for!! Overall we would highly recommend - it was more expensive than what I can imagine other surrounding hotels / apartments are but we thought it was definitely worth it.

We loved Kefalos because of the more quit location, great views at your doorstep, and if you have a rental car or quad, everything is really fast to access on the island. There's also a supermarkt next door which is very handy. There's a pier just a few meters at the other side of the road aswell, in case you want to swim in the sea too... I can go on and on, but can not recommend this hotel enough!! Thank you for our great stay and first timers at Kos!
