Our second visit to an Ikos resort, Ikos Aria exceeded our lofty expectations. The hotel is swanky, clean, with fantastic facilities including spacious rooms, multiple pools (some adults only), delicious food across multiple restaurants and cuisines, a sandy beach and well-equipped gym. The staff are the real highlight though, always asking how they can improve the experience and never leaving you with an empty glass, without being too formal or pompous. I had a massage with Maria and my wife had a massage and facial with Dina, who were excellent too. We'll be back!

Having previously stayed at Ikos Dassia we were a bit disappointed at Aria. As a couple travelling without children and non-deluxe, Dassia is a much better option. The adults only pool at Aria is tiny and is next to the deluxe building. The beds were always busy in the morning. Dassia however has a large adults only pool which we never struggled to get a bed at. At aria you very much felt the ‘have not’ of not being deluxe guests - the deluxe only pool commands the best position at the hotel with a lovely view of the sea, and had lots of space throughout the day. The non deluxe pools were very busy, crowded and had slow service for drinks / food. The breakfast menu in the non-deluxe restaurants had also really reduced in quality - it’s essentially things from the buffet that they put on the plate. The evening entertainment is also set up oddly. The main area of the lobby has live music of an evening, but as children can use the area, it essentially turns into a kids club of a night with children running around playing. The hotel don’t provide any areas in the evening where it is adults only, or have other areas where music being played (other than in the restaurants which you can’t access if you don’t have a booking that night). It seemed like a wasted opportunity given there’s so much space to use.

Ikos Aria gave us an all inclusive holiday experience that outshone all others, and we've stayed at many excellent hotels. The ambience is relaxed and refined, the staff are welcoming and unstintingly helpful. Our check in was great, the room was excellent and first impressions of the hotel were marvellous and over time only got better. The grounds are well stocked and maintained and although extensive always had new points of interest. There is a choice of 2 beaches divided by an historic ruins. The view of the island from one is magnificent and access by pedalo is relatively easy, though beach shoes are advised. The other beach is more peaceful and idyllic, easy sandy access to the sea can be found at either end. The opportunity to use a hotel Tesla was greatly appreciated and we had a good day out touring the island. Our favourite restaurant was the Ouzo, though closely followed by Seasons and the Asian . The staff throughout the resort were exceptional, friendly and attentive. We have booked again for next September and are looking forward to returning.

Stunning location and beautiful setting, but unfortunately our experience at Ikos Aria did not match the standards we have come to expect from the Ikos brand. Having stayed at two other Ikos resorts previously, the difference in service here was noticeable. The room service food was again very poor, often tasteless and on several occasions undercooked, which was disappointing for a premium resort. Restaurant service throughout the stay was also slower than expected, with meals frequently taking a long time to arrive and at one stage taking over 25 mins to be seated despite being on time and with three small hungry, tired children it was poor. Overall the service felt less polished, with fewer highly trained staff compared to other Ikos properties we have visited. Securing restaurant reservations proved difficult and there remains a clear gap between the standard and Deluxe experience. While it is understandable that Deluxe guests receive additional benefits, the standard package is already very expensive and should still feel seamless and premium. One area of real concern was the speed and manner in which buggies were driven around the resort. Given the number of small children present, they were often driven unsafely and at speed. Having to repeatedly ask drivers to slow down was not ideal and detracted from what should feel like a safe family environment. The manageress was excellent. She was warm, professional and genuinely tried to address our concerns, which was very much appreciated. The location itself is truly stunning and this feedback is shared constructively in the hope that service and operational standards can be brought in line with the wider Ikos reputation.

Overall a wonderful stay at Ikos Aria. The site is beautiful, well maintained and in a great location very close to the airport. Staff go over and above to help, are friendly and approachable. Although I did used to find the management team coming to find us at our sunbeds slightly unnerving as they ALWAYS know where you are. Everything for families is fantastic! Kids clubs, entertainment etc. My 5 year old had a brilliant time. We had booked this holiday with jet2 and had private transfers but didn’t want take car seats and have them in our room all holiday so decided to organise an Ikos transfer which we paid for in addition to the cost of our holiday. Our journey from the airport was fantastic. A private bus with a tv, water and appropriate car seats. The way back to the airport however was a shambles. Although we had paid for private transfer they were trying to put us on a bus with lots of other families and no car seats. When we requested the car seats we were met with a slightly rude response which was unfortunate. We were finally provided with a bay car seat for our 8 month old with jammed straps but had to make do as we were getting later for our flight and their only other offer was a booster. My advice would be to make it explicit that you expect car seats for both journeys if it is something you have booked.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful resort back in September and we absolutely loved it. If you want luxury, a relaxing experience and excellent customer service then this spot is definitely for you. Everyone was so nice! Stop wondering if you should…just book!!

We visited Ikos Aria in September with my wife. The resort is at a superb location on the beach approximately 15 minutes from the airport. Easy to find as we rented a car from there. The room, the service at the restaurants and the overall attention from all staff during our stay made as to keep Aria top on our list for a revisit!

We had a wonderful family stay at Ikos Aria and couldn’t fault the experience. The resort is beautiful, impeccably run, and truly family-friendly. A special mention goes to Vasiliana and Spyros at the pool, who were incredibly kind, attentive, and made our days by the pool extra relaxing and fun for both adults and kids. We’d also like to praise Paola at the bar for her warm personality, great service, and consistently excellent drinks. These team members really made us feel welcome and turned a great holiday into a memorable one. We can’t wait to return.

Perfect holiday spot for families! We stayed in suite with a pool and had amazing views to the little island. Great hospitality and loved the Greek greetings everywhere we went. Feels safe to be with family and the many dining options allow for a different experience everyday. We shall be back :D
