DownTown Hotel in Nafplio

Amazing experience in this wonderful hotel. The hotel manager was kind, helpful and friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The room was spotless clean, quiet although we were in the center of the old town. We highly recommended it! It’s a unique place!

This hotel is the perfect place to stay in this wonderful city. From Nafplio, we were able to explore the entire Argo-Saronic Gulf and visit the beautiful island of Hydra. Located in the heart of Nafplio, just steps from restaurants and the lively atmosphere, yet still quiet enough for restful nights. We loved Sofia's warm welcome (she sent us a message before our arrival) and all her helpful advice about lunch and making the most of our stay in the region. She was incredibly helpful and readily available (thank you, WhatsApp!). We appreciated the quality of the bedding and linens (the pillows were amazing!). The cleanliness was impeccable: everything was spotless! The windows even have mosquito nets. We were able to create a breeze at night, which was very pleasant, but the room also has air conditioning and a ceiling fan if needed. The room with the rooftop terrace is spacious. There's also a wall-mounted hairdryer. The decor is elegant and beautiful... probably recently renovated... the hotel looks brand new inside and out. Secure access via badge. Breakfast isn't served, but essentials are available 24/7 in the lobby (coffee, tea, pastries, etc.), complementing Sofia's excellent bakery recommendations. There's an elevator and a stunning white marble staircase. We parked our rental car in the port parking lot, which is just a few meters away. Very convenient. We spent three nights there and hope to return soon. In short, it's fantastic! I highly recommend it!

Lovely little hotel perfectly located in Nafplio old town. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was spotless and cleaned daily. The hotel provided a breakfast selection of prepackaged pastries and fruit with coffee machines to which guests help themselves. Would definitely stay there again.

This beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Nafplio's Old Town just minutes from everywhere is all you need for a perfect stay away from home. It is a spotless establishment, modernly furnished and tirelessly taken care of. The staff could not be more polite, attentive and so considerate, lovely people I am happy to have met. Keep up the good work guys!!

Location, nice room, excellent service and more…

The hotel is just great! The location is the most central, you can't wish for a better one. From the second floor you can even see the castle))
Everything gives you an impression that it was sterilized which is very important nowadays to feel safe.
There is a coffee and some fruits available anytime, very nice touch when you are staying without breakfast.

We couldn't be happier with our stay! Highly recommend!

We stayed in the Downtown Hotel in April 2019. We were very lucky that when we booked they only had the loft room available. The room was excellent with a rooftop terrace, with great views of the town and fortress. The hotel is in the heart of old Nafplio within walking distance of everything. The staff were very helpful and polite, the rooms spotless, and very nicely decorated. There is no parking in the old town, so visitors will have to carry their bags about 600m to the hotel from the free parking at the harbor. Any problems with the parking is made up for by the stunning views of the town from the rooftop terrace.

The short review is that this place is excellent value for money!

A few more points:

1. Very friendly staff aiming to assist and support not only with respect to facilities but also in relation to the town

2. Great rooms, newly built and with amazing bedding and bathroom facilities. We had a fantastic sleep and rested very well while staying there.

3. Although we didn’t have breakfast, there’s a very rich buffet in relation to price with eggs, pastries, marmalades etc.

4. In the heart of town with walking distance to the nice part of the old city - there is no parking and access there is a bit challenging due to to it being in a mainly pedestrian area

Overall strongly recommended and we will definitely come back!
