Excellent option when visiting Monemvasia. The hotel is new and modern with wonderful amenities. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our holiday was a memorable one. The breakfast is another reason to choose the Alkinoi, with fresh squeezed orange juice and a wonderful assortment of Greek breakfast fare.

Fabulous stay at this hotel in August 2025 with the family for 7 nights. Ioannis, Sia and Angelika couldn't have been more helpful during our stay and the view of Monemvasia is breathtaking! A brilliant hotel to explore the region and beaches and just a 5-min cab to the old town. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Alkinoi Resort & Spa in August for 7 nights. Ioannia, Sia, Angelika and the team all made us feel incredibly welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them with brilliant local recommendations. This place was paradise. Beyond what i thought it was gonna be. I would wake up to a beautiful view and staff was phenomenal. Knowing me by my 1st name. Food was excellent, drinks were the best i had. Definitely coming back

The experience of staying within walls is something else. Monemvasia has managed to capture and maintain the feel of an ancient fortification while giving one the comforts of modern civilization (indoor plumbing!) This is a one of a kind stay! If you are visiting monemvasia, you should be sure to stay on the island inside the fortress. We loved our time here! Great hiking up to the church on top of the hill, beautiful views, such a unique little community. We loved our stay!

Super location on the island! The room was very nice and a bottle of wine was left for us. The host was fabulous. He went out of his way to help us with the wi-fi, directions, and other items. Definitely recommend this lodging.

We went to Monemvasia for the New Year as a group celebrating a birthday. It was truly magical, the staff were all friendly and super helpful, the location is stunning and the atmosphere is like something out of a fairy tale. Our room was perfect for our requirements and we thought it was very good value.

This is my favourite hotel in the whole world. The rooms are spacious, beautifully and charmingly decorated and furnished, with great attention to detail. Everything is very clean, and everything works. The breakfast is amazing, and all the staff are lovely.

Stayed for 3 nights.The only downside to staying in Monemvasia is that you can not park immediately next to the hotels. A free car park is available approximately 1k away & a bus service runs to the gates every half an hour on the hour, costing €1.50. The accommodation was lovely - clean, warm and welcoming. The view of the sea is amazing and the location (near gates of castle but within the castle walls is unbelievably magical. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our time there. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful, and the service was great from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, the room was spotless and cozy, and we especially loved the sea view from the balcony. The moment we walked into our beautiful room on the ground floor, we felt at home! The hostess is very kind and took the time to make sure we understood how to manage the lights and hot water switches. The location is excellent - right on the edge of a small green space next to the fortress wall, overlooking the sea. We only wish we could have spent more time in there to enjoy our room!

Pros: Great pool, spacious modern rooms with several balconies, beautiful location. Cons: not cheap, a 5 minute drive to Monemvasia for dinner. The place was luxurious with not that many guests. We used it as a base to visit Monemvasia and Elafonisos. Fabulous seaside scenery.

We were only here for two nights but the accommodations were really comfortable. The staff is inviting and the warmth of their hospitality is very much felt. There are plenty of parking spaces available at the hotel premises. There are a pharmacy and a restaurant less than 5 minutes away from the hotel and it is a very short ride away from old Monemvasia. I had to cancel my stay at short notice due to a health complication. Sempre Viva Suites refunded me in full even though I was outside the cancellation window and they didn’t need to. I appreciated it so much and think it is a wonderful reflection on them. We will visit next year and this hotel will be first on my list!

This place is beautiful but hard to get to one way in. Bringing a suitcase will be tough. Worth it from the peaceful and breathtaking views. Olive oil here is amazing.

Amazing place, 100% real homemade food from scratch. Family of 4 stayed for couple of nights as we’ve organised the Christening for our little one.Our event was organised outside in Olive tree garden! Kids loved it. We spent a weekend in the Moni Emvasis suite, which was luxurious, romantic, and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent, the service was friendly, and the hotel is conveniently close to the front entrance. Monemvasia is one of the most enchanting places in the world, second only to Santorini in Greece. Monemvasia is an absolute gem, and this is the nicest place to stay in the castle.
