We wanted to look at a potential wedding venue as it holds a special place in our hearts and the staff couldn’t do enough to accommodate us! They are truly amazing and we adore each and every one of the people who work here! Always smiling, super attentive and nothing is too much bother

They go above and beyond and made our stay unforgettable yet again even though there’s different staff to when we visited 7 years previously

What kept this from being a perfect stay was the service. I was celebrating a milestone birthday and had mentioned it ahead of time, but there was no acknowledgment at all

We last visited 7 years ago and the place did not disappoint

The food was good and the setting is truly exceptional, but the details and service didn’t quite meet the level the property promises — or the price tag

There was also very little communication throughout the stay — more “figure it out yourself” than the warm, high-touch experience you expect here

Yianni worked tirelessly to ensure that the events ran smoothly, that the breakfast was well stocked with a variety of dishes, and most of all, that our guests felt at home

From the moment we made online reservations to the day we said goodbye, the staff, service, hotel, location was the best I have ever experienced

Everyone was ready to help make our experience the most perfect it could be. The beds were soooo comfortable. soooooo nice!The bathroom spacious. The entire hotel was just soooo clean and beautiful

Ioannis, Sia and Angelika couldn't have been more helpful during our stay and the view of Monemvasia is breathtaking! A brilliant hotel to explore the region and beaches and just a 5-min cab to the old town

Excellent breakfast options. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The room was clean and well layed out. Parking was on-site and secure. Would I recommend this hotel... absolutely!

Staying on the Rock was a must-do experience. Our room was small but perfectly charming with stone walls, shutters, a small balcony, and an amazing sea-front view. Breakfast consisted of a large buffet with tasty choices

Be aware that you will be pulling your luggage down cobblestone streets, and that you will be hiking to and from your car that you've left parked along the causeway (there is no access for cars within the castle walls)

On arrival I phoned reception, who arranged for a porter to transport our luggage to our room costings €5. The streets are cobbled, well worn & can be slippy. The hotel is beautifully appointed & the views amazing

This is my favourite hotel in the whole world. The rooms are spacious, beautifully and charmingly decorated and furnished, with great attention to detail. Everything is very clean, and everything works

A free car park is available approximately 1k away & a bus service runs to the gates every half an hour on the hour, costing €1

Accommodations inside the castle. Very close to the entrance. Reasonably priced. Full and excellent breakfast was included.

The location was perfect, the room was spotless and cozy, and we especially loved the sea view from the balcony. We'll definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area

We absolutely loved our time there. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful, and the service was great from the moment we arrived

The location is excellent - right on the edge of a small green space next to the fortress wall, overlooking the sea. We only wish we could have spent more time in there to enjoy our room!

The moment we walked into our beautiful room on the ground floor, we felt at home! The hostess is very kind and took the time to make sure we understood how to manage the lights and hot water switches

What a lovely experience our stay here was. We received a warm welcome, and the rooms were so inviting and comfortable

Plus, the historical setting couldn't be beat! We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in lovely Monemvasia

Be aware that there is no elevator, but you can drive around to the back of the hotel to bring your bags in which makes it much easier. We would stay here again if we are back in the area

Great hotel, great service, great stay, great breakfast. clean, comfortable, nice and efficient staff, safe in the room, fridge, balcony. well, maybe a room a bit bigger but it was fine, not a big problem

Great hotel, lots of room in suite, beautiful terrace with chairs/table overlooking the sea and Monamvasia; plenty of parking on site. Only complaint no Nespresso in room and coffee downstairs sub par. Very nice staff!

If you are coming to Monumvasia and want to stay in the old city then you will be subject to parking your car at least one km away and walking to your hotel over cobblestones

A hotel worth much more than two stars I would rate it at least three if not four stars The staff is lovely, Shontei, Hargiro, Nina, (I hope I wrote the names correctly) take care of you as a guest so that you will simply have a good time

Also, walking distance to my favourite Taverna all trip (O Takis) :)) Had a great four days to explore both Monemvasia and the surrounding peninsula. Will definitely be back when in the area! Felt right at home :)

Great place ! The team in charge of the hotel is fantastic, very efficient and friendly at the same time. Access to Ambelakya beach is very easy, and the view of the Monemvasia castro is beautiful

The room was spotless, new-feeling, matching interior design, with a little balcony, 'mosquito net sliding door' that also repels sunlight, and a very efficient (and quiet!) AC

Coffee is free throughout the day and night, and even a basket of fresh fruit is available for her, if you are craving sweet fruit. The breakfast buffet is rich and luxurious

1-minute walk to lovely beach (I always climbed over the small hill and had the entire next cove to myself); beautiful water to swim in with a great view of Monemvasia

Welcome to a superb end of the world, isolated and yet. The room is very simple but with an extraordinary view of the sea and Monemvasia (10 min by car). This young girl with her lively dynamism was radiant

+ price for rooms, car parking , location close to the sea, panoramic seaview, pool, clean rooms, helpful stuff, bar, close to Monemvasia and citycenter. - waterpool needs to be clean more better .

A small but nice hotel, especially since it has a Saltwater pool and the Sea is possibly 50 meters away. They handle the covid19 problem with success, especially for breakfast

The people who prepared these dishes for us were very cheerful. The swimming pool: splash in the sea water. We regretted only spending two nights there! We come back with our eyes closed

The only problem is if you are planning to stay for two or three weeks, the room is very small, and if you like to buy a watermelon 🍉 it's a problem because the fridge is a bit bigger than a mini bar

The parking should be Asphalt, or even Beton since all your shoes or luggage is covered with a very fine white dust and difficult to remove

The establishment faces the sea, the bedding and air conditioning are OK. All this just a stone's throw from a small beach and of course Monemvassia. Small supermarket right next door

Beautiful views, lovely property offering everything you would need. Only problem was total lack of signs on property. Sign just says Villa Plus on a very very small sign on a public lamp post

Eventually after a couple if hours git hold of local rep who we met up nearby and he showed the way. Really must get a villa name plate on the actual gate at the main entry!

We've had a lovely stay there. The hotel is very close to the beach and local shops. The view from our window was stunning! The hosts were friendly and polite.

Clean room right next to the water and convenient location.

Simple rooms with a very small bathroom, more like a shower room (old-fashioned and little room to turn around), fridge, balcony, table and chair on the balcony and outside the building

Super location on the island! The room was very nice and a bottle of wine was left for us. He went out of his way to help us with the wi-fi, directions, and other items. Definitely recommend this lodging

Location, Location, Location! It is a step backwards in time, but with current day amenities. Breakfast was great, Staff was very nice and friendly and helpful

Fantastic little castle town and hotel. Great view of the sea and the staff is very welcoming and speak decent English. They gave us a free 357 ml bottle of a local sweet wine as a gift

Monemvasia has managed to capture and maintain the feel of an ancient fortification while giving one the comforts of modern civilization (indoor plumbing!) The Likinia Hotel is well located, about a 5 minute walk away from the main street and sufficiently separated

This is a one of a kind stay! If you are visiting monemvasia, you should be sure to stay on the island inside the fortress

We loved our time here! Great hiking up to the church on top of the hill, beautiful views, such a unique little community

The place was empty and it was past lunchtime and yet they accommodated us with open arms. Food was delicious, terrace has gorgeous view overlooking the sea, and the staff was kind, helpful and courteous

I had a fantastic time at Annema hotel. We did arrive with the BMW riders club Friday night for a two nights stay. The rooms are comfortable and the sea view from the hotel is amazing

The hotel is well situated. The views are amazing. The swimming pool and the sea are good for swimming and lounging. Make sure to stargaze at the swimming deck in the sea at night! Staff are nice hard working people.

Right by the sea with a lovely deck so you can go swimming. The disappointment was breakfast

The owners are very responsive and the best part is the breakfast and general the food. I do re comment this hotel to anyone that want to spend quite vacations and also for bikers

Wish I had stayed another night at least, nice room and balcony, decent bathroom. Modernised quite well - decent value for money. Additional cost breakfast not bad. One of the bins has not been emptied

Situated almost immediately by the bridge to the island, AKTAION Hotel was quite comfortable, and well positioned for restaurants. My room was one of the smaller ones, but it’s balcony faced the island and the sea

A very unique hotel with beautiful views of the sea and castle walls. It was also very quiet and peaceful being at the end of the village. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice traditional houses, just next to the city walls, with unlimited sea view smelling the sea breeze,very polite staff

We had a great stay and I would highly recommend it Just one thing to note it’s a long walk from where you drop your luggage off so if you’re only going for a few days take a little amount so you don’t have to carry too much

Fantastic location and the view of the ocean from our room. Breakfast was super good, the best one during our trip in Greece. The property is not new and there was some smell of old wood in the room

Stay Inside a Castle Delightful room overlooking the ocean. The breakfast was excellent! Be prepared for cobblestones and stairs in the village but it was wonderful fun exploring the town

Stayed here for one night- attentive staff, clean rooms some half built into the cliff face. It find itself on the not so busy part of town with an unparalleled aperitive terrace

In the morning there was some construction work going on in the building, but they didn't start too early in the morn and I guess it's only normal, since I was there in the weeks before the starting of the season

It's close to all, including the old city, the beach, supermarkets. A little kitchenette with lots of apparel. I had a very nice conversation with a host

Rooms are clean and comfortable! Monenvasia is 15min walking distance and there are plenty of parking spots around the place. Recommended!

I had a lovely 7-day holiday at the hotel 27th April to 4th May with my elderly mother. Pristine accommodation, great views, and excellent hospitality. When we left, we felt that we had made friends for ever. ❤️

Great hotel, clean tidy , great breakfast great location

The beach is steps away and they kindly loaned us some beach towels. The water was clear and warm, but it's a bit stony so I recommend wearing water shoes. Overall, a great place to stay while visiting Monemvasia

Ours faced the sea with an amazing view of the water and the rock. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Everything we needed was a short walk away. Parking was easy with lots of spaces near the hotel

Door security questionable - Squeaky beds and bad sound insulation - At least a 15 minute walk from the bridge to Monemvasia - Outrageously expensive compared to the service but is to be expected given the touristic magnitude

Mikey and the fine team were wonderful hosts and the amplified beauty of the Petrino guest house. We highly recommend it as you overlook the bay. Besides your a stone throw away from the Medieval Castle.

The newly renovated bathroom had shower gel, hand soap, and shampoo. There are bath and hand towels available. There is a blowdryer in the room, along with a frig. There’s a wardrobe from hanging items

The owner is super sweet and accommodated our late arrival from Athens. There are tavernas just steps from the property all along the water. There’s ample street parking across from the property

Apartment in Monemvasia located near the center. Nice and quiet and you can also park here. Nicely decorated rooms, modern style in bathroom. Douwes Egberts coffee on the first floor for free

Pros: Great pool, spacious modern rooms with several balconies, beautiful location. Cons: not cheap, a 5 minute drive to Monemvasia for dinner. The place was luxurious with not that many guests

The housekeeping was great, attention to every single detail. The bed sheets were changed every 2nd day without request! In other words, the sporless cleanliness of the room left a very cozy and comfortable impression

I had to cancel my stay at short notice due to a health complication. Sempre Viva Suites refunded me in full even though I was outside the cancellation window and they didn’t need to

The pool area is nice, the sunbeds are soft and comfy. Really the property is very beautiful! It is lockated in a very quiet area only 5 min drive from the city of monemvasia

Anyway thank you for making those 5 wonderful days that we stayed with you as beautiful and comfortable as it was only possible in the current situation with the virus

Unfortunately due to covid there was no restaurant service. I hope soon it will start its operation as I think I might have seen some tables meant to be for dining

It seems that the temperature is higher, but the cool breeze is very comfortable. It is really good to have a vacation. The hotel has a seawater swimming pool. The sea is just opposite the door

Even if you don't go to the sea, it is beautiful to listen to the sound of the waves at night

We asked for a simple room just for a night but they offered an upgraded one with sea view (and the Monemvasia rock) for the same cost. Clean and really large room, great balcony and super cute bath

The suites are nicely located if you have a car as they are a 3 minutes drive from Monemvasia but also offer a pool. The suite we had was spacious for a family with 2 kids

I just wish the pool could open later than 6pm especially as sunscreen is not allowed

The pool is clean warm and welcoming the rooms are cleaned better than can be expected nothing it out of place for us two very seasoned travellers. Thankyou for allowing us to stay
