The food was good and the setting is truly exceptional, but the details and service didn’t quite meet the level the property promises — or the price tag

We wanted to look at a potential wedding venue as it holds a special place in our hearts and the staff couldn’t do enough to accommodate us! They are truly amazing and we adore each and every one of the people who work here! Always smiling, super attentive and nothing is too much bother

Absolutely amazing! This 5-star hotel in Monemvasia, recently awarded 2 Michelin Keys, exceeded every expectation

We made time to walk around one morning and found there were so much to explore, from benches and swings nestled in the olive and pomegranate groves, antique shop, to visiting the chickens, goats, and horses

They even cultivate all their vegetables on-site, which adds a unique touch to every meal. Each room boasts its own distinctive decor, and the views of the surrounding landscape are simply breathtaking

From the moment we made online reservations to the day we said goodbye, the staff, service, hotel, location was the best I have ever experienced

Everyone was ready to help make our experience the most perfect it could be. The beds were soooo comfortable. soooooo nice!The bathroom spacious. The entire hotel was just soooo clean and beautiful

Accommodations inside the castle. Very close to the entrance. Reasonably priced. Full and excellent breakfast was included.

It was truly magical, the staff were all friendly and super helpful, the location is stunning and the atmosphere is like something out of a fairy tale

And it was during a power out, so we got the medieval experience, ha! But after a few hours the lights came on ( freak storm), and just had an amazing time. The breakfast was I think the best one we had in Greece

Staying on the Rock was a must-do experience. Our room was small but perfectly charming with stone walls, shutters, a small balcony, and an amazing sea-front view. Breakfast consisted of a large buffet with tasty choices

The host was very responsive and took really good care of us. Luggage has to be portered in and they came right away and upon check out they were very fast. The room was comfortable and in a beautiful location

Excellent in just about every way. Location, rooms, cleanliness, service, views, hospitality. Host, Despina, is fantastic…I tried to convince her to open her home up to a good home-cooked meal…maybe!

The location is excellent - right on the edge of a small green space next to the fortress wall, overlooking the sea. We only wish we could have spent more time in there to enjoy our room!

The moment we walked into our beautiful room on the ground floor, we felt at home! The hostess is very kind and took the time to make sure we understood how to manage the lights and hot water switches

The location was perfect, the room was spotless and cozy, and we especially loved the sea view from the balcony. We'll definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area

Be aware that there is no elevator, but you can drive around to the back of the hotel to bring your bags in which makes it much easier. We would stay here again if we are back in the area

A hotel worth much more than two stars I would rate it at least three if not four stars The staff is lovely, Shontei, Hargiro, Nina, (I hope I wrote the names correctly) take care of you as a guest so that you will simply have a good time

Great place ! The team in charge of the hotel is fantastic, very efficient and friendly at the same time. Access to Ambelakya beach is very easy, and the view of the Monemvasia castro is beautiful

The room was spotless, new-feeling, matching interior design, with a little balcony, 'mosquito net sliding door' that also repels sunlight, and a very efficient (and quiet!) AC

But anyway this are minor problems, since my stay was excellent, especially the look to Monemvasia itself was top

Welcome to a superb end of the world, isolated and yet. The room is very simple but with an extraordinary view of the sea and Monemvasia (10 min by car). This young girl with her lively dynamism was radiant

The only problem is if you are planning to stay for two or three weeks, the room is very small, and if you like to buy a watermelon 🍉 it's a problem because the fridge is a bit bigger than a mini bar

Their own fresh eggs, water, tea coffee and other basics complimentary in communal kitchen. Kitchenette in the room was well equipped with complimentary large bottle of water in the fridge too

She gives us valuable advice for places to visit, restaurants, schedules. Breakfast: copious! We choose the composition at will the day before. The pistachio and honey waffles were delicious

Beautiful views, lovely property offering everything you would need. Only problem was total lack of signs on property. Sign just says Villa Plus on a very very small sign on a public lamp post

Eventually after a couple if hours git hold of local rep who we met up nearby and he showed the way. Really must get a villa name plate on the actual gate at the main entry!

We've had a lovely stay there. The hotel is very close to the beach and local shops. The view from our window was stunning! The hosts were friendly and polite.

Clean room right next to the water and convenient location.

Simple rooms with a very small bathroom, more like a shower room (old-fashioned and little room to turn around), fridge, balcony, table and chair on the balcony and outside the building

The establishment faces the sea, the bedding and air conditioning are OK. All this just a stone's throw from a small beach and of course Monemvassia. Small supermarket right next door

Super location on the island! The room was very nice and a bottle of wine was left for us. He went out of his way to help us with the wi-fi, directions, and other items. Definitely recommend this lodging

Monemvasia has managed to capture and maintain the feel of an ancient fortification while giving one the comforts of modern civilization (indoor plumbing!) The Likinia Hotel is well located, about a 5 minute walk away from the main street and sufficiently separated

This is a one of a kind stay! If you are visiting monemvasia, you should be sure to stay on the island inside the fortress

The hotel is well situated. The views are amazing. The swimming pool and the sea are good for swimming and lounging. Make sure to stargaze at the swimming deck in the sea at night! Staff are nice hard working people.

The place was empty and it was past lunchtime and yet they accommodated us with open arms. Food was delicious, terrace has gorgeous view overlooking the sea, and the staff was kind, helpful and courteous

We had a great stay and I would highly recommend it Just one thing to note it’s a long walk from where you drop your luggage off so if you’re only going for a few days take a little amount so you don’t have to carry too much

Stay Inside a Castle Delightful room overlooking the ocean. The breakfast was excellent! Be prepared for cobblestones and stairs in the village but it was wonderful fun exploring the town

Great hotel, great location, the best people. Hotel is close to the center of the new city of monemvasia (3 minutes on foot) (and 10 to the castle). Our room was big and comfortable and the owners made us feel at home

Our room at klelia hotel was nice clean and comfortable, with a sea view balcony. The hotel has a good position from the centre of Gefira (about ten minutes walk) and from Monemvasia (about twenty minutes walk)

Rooms are clean and comfortable! Monenvasia is 15min walking distance and there are plenty of parking spots around the place. Recommended!

This is one of the best hotels I have *ever* stayed at. Beautiful rooms at a historic hotel in the middle of an olive orchard, a 15 minute drive from Monemvasia

Among olive trees you enjoy a fully hand made breakfast peace super kind personnel and total. It is a destination on its own ! Comfortable room with 5 star amenities excellent bethroabs and great rooms

The manager came out to meet us when we parked, knew who we were and brought us to the room prior to my coming to check in. The included breakfast the next morning was fantastic, huge variety of freshly prepared foods

Amazing place, 100% real homemade food from scratch. Family of 4 stayed for couple of nights as we’ve organised the Christening for our little one. Our event was organised outside in Olive tree garden! Kids loved it

This family run property sits on a small bay across from Monavasia. You can easily walk over from the hotel. The room has everything you need. This isn’t a luxury spot, but well appointed

Pros: Great pool, spacious modern rooms with several balconies, beautiful location. Cons: not cheap, a 5 minute drive to Monemvasia for dinner. The place was luxurious with not that many guests

The housekeeping was great, attention to every single detail. The bed sheets were changed every 2nd day without request! In other words, the sporless cleanliness of the room left a very cozy and comfortable impression

The pool area is nice, the sunbeds are soft and comfy. Really the property is very beautiful! It is lockated in a very quiet area only 5 min drive from the city of monemvasia

We spent a weekend in the Moni Emvasis suite, which was luxurious, romantic, and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent, the service was friendly, and the hotel is conveniently close to the front entrance

Best luxury suites in the castle. Very close to the main entrance and views to die for. Restaurant is also very nice and very well priced. Anyone staying in the castle, this should be your first choice.

They provided assistance with the luggage as there are stairs to maneuver and parking is not available in the castle. Breakfast was excellent! Amazing bread among other traditional foods to try

Monemvasia is one of the most enchanting places in the world, second only to Santorini in Greece. Monemvasia is an absolute gem, and this is the nicest place to stay in the castle

The location couldn't be better; close to the castle entrance and all the shops and restaurants in the area, although during our stay only one or two were open

Be prepared for parking a car on the road to the town walls and then walking in maybe 100 feet to their office. The rooms are in many small building, not at the office
