We spent a weekend in the Moni Emvasis suite, which was luxurious, romantic, and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent, the service was friendly, and the hotel is conveniently close to the front entrance. Monemvasia is one of the most enchanting places in the world, second only to Santorini in Greece. Monemvasia is an absolute gem, and this is the nicest place to stay in the castle.

Wow! What a great experience and the people make it even better! Beautiful rooms, we stayed in the Suite with sea views and balcony. They provided assistance with the luggage as there are stairs to maneuver and parking is not available in the castle. There is free parking nearby. Breakfast was excellent! Amazing bread among other traditional foods to try. We also had dinner one evening which was superb. Highly recommend this hotel!

A perfect setting in Manimnavsia. The hotel is near the gate so easy to get to. The staff is welcoming Our room had the most incredible view of the town, walls and the sea. Lovely balcony. The staff was attentive to anything you might need. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh bread to huge omelets.

Best luxury suites in the castle.
Very close to the main entrance and views to die for.

Restaurant is also very nice and very well priced.

Anyone staying in the castle, this should be your first choice.

Our room had one of the best views of the ocean and the old town that you could ever hope for. This hotel is built into the mountain and is quite quirky. Ask for help with your bags when you arrived at the town's main gate. Our room was clean and large and although the air conditioning could have bene stronger, it was a heat wave in Greece at the time. We really enjoyed our stay here - it is right in the middle of the stunning old town.

Family-owned luxury. I wish we could have stayed longer. A large room with a patio with glorious sea views in a walled castle town. What more can one ask for?! Such a special location with personal professional service. Incredible food and huge portions. The best homemade sourdough bread we've ever had. We had breakfast every day and dinner on our last night. Aphrodite and her mom Nektaria make you feel so comfortable you won't want to leave!

Stayed here 2 nights and loved the room and the balcony with a sea view. The staff were helpful . Unfortunately we did not get to experience the full breakfasts because one day we had to leave before it started and the other we were just not that hungry. 9 am is a little late for us. They did give us pastries to go. Be aware that you will be climbing stairs since there is no elevator and the town is very steep and hilly. We did get to eat dinner at the restaurant one night and it was delicious.
