We went to Monemvasia for the New Year as a group celebrating a birthday. This is my favourite hotel in the whole world. The rooms are spacious, beautifully and charmingly decorated and furnished, with great attention to detail. Everything is very clean, and everything works. The breakfast is amazing, and all the staff are lovely.

Stayed for 3 nights.The only downside to staying in Monemvasia is that you can not park immediately next to the hotels. A free car park is available approximately 1k away & a bus service runs to the gates every half an hour on the hour, costing €1.50. We absolutely loved our time there. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful, and the service was great from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, the room was spotless and cozy, and we especially loved the sea view from the balcony. The moment we walked into our beautiful room on the ground floor, we felt at home! The hostess is very kind and took the time to make sure we understood how to manage the lights and hot water switches. The location is excellent - right on the edge of a small green space next to the fortress wall, overlooking the sea. We only wish we could have spent more time in there to enjoy our room!

A unique experience in a traditional guesthouse. Good host. There are lots of stairs around the property which adds to the charm in a very unique location. A level of fitness is required and don't take too much luggage!

This place is beautiful but hard to get to one way in. Bringing a suitcase will be tough. Worth it from the peaceful and breathtaking views. Olive oil here is amazing.

This is one of the best hotels I have *ever* stayed at. Beautiful rooms at a historic hotel in the middle of an olive orchard, a 15 minute drive from Monemvasia. We had a nice stay at Hotel Panorama. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Be aware that there is no elevator, but you can drive around to the back of the hotel to bring your bags in which makes it much easier. We would stay here again if we are back in the area.

This small hotel is conveniently located just a stone's throw from the Monemvasia peninsula. The rooms are admittedly a little outdated and could benefit from a refresh. However, we loved the peaceful surroundings and the small terrace where we enjoyed breakfast.

Beautiful views, lovely property offering everything you would need. Only problem was total lack of signs on property. Sign just says Villa Plus on a very very small sign on a public lamp post. Eventually after a couple if hours git hold of local rep who we met up nearby and he showed the way. Really must get a villa name plate on the actual gate at the main entry!

We've had a lovely stay there. The hotel is very close to the beach and local shops. The view from our window was stunning! The hosts were friendly and polite.

Pros: Great pool, spacious modern rooms with several balconies, beautiful location. Cons: not cheap, a 5 minute drive to Monemvasia for dinner. The place was luxurious with not that many guests. We used it as a base to visit Monemvasia and Elafonisos. Fabulous seaside scenery.

I had to cancel my stay at short notice due to a health complication. Sempre Viva Suites refunded me in full even though I was outside the cancellation window and they didn’t need to. I appreciated it so much and think it is a wonderful reflection on them. We will visit next year and this hotel will be first on my list!

Luxurious and comfortable rooms, amazing views.

The suites are nicely located if you have a car as they are a 3 minutes drive from Monemvasia but also offer a pool. The suite we had was spacious for a family with 2 kids. Staff was very nice. I just wish the pool could open later than 6pm especially as sunscreen is not allowed

The scenery here is very good. It seems that the temperature is higher, but the cool breeze is very comfortable. It is really good to have a vacation. The hotel has a seawater swimming pool. The sea is just opposite the door. Even if you don't go to the sea, it is beautiful to listen to the sound of the waves at night.

As with all hotels and residences the staff here make all the difference each and every one are friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks here. It is a beautiful place to while away the hours looking out onto the fantastic monemvasia island . Monemvasia has managed to capture and maintain the feel of an ancient fortification while giving one the comforts of modern civilization (indoor plumbing!) We spent a weekend in the Moni Emvasis suite, which was luxurious, romantic, and comfortable. Well, this was a bit special; actually staying within the ancient walls of Monemvasia. The room was not very well lit and really quirky, as you might expect from such an ancient place. The room was ideally located across from the town square and not too far from the main gate. We had ample room for the two of us. The breakfast, included, was sumptuous and there were ample choices. The standout for us was the hotel staff. Hercules (yes, his real name) transported both of our 30-plus pound bags on each of his shoulders to our room and then back to the main gate after our stay....

The room was beautifully furnished and very clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was plentiful and included local delicacies. The only drawback was that the bathroom was small and it got quite wet when using the shower.

The hotel is well situated. The views are amazing. The swimming pool and the sea are good for swimming and lounging. Make sure to stargaze at the swimming deck in the sea at night! Staff are nice hard working people.

The place was empty and it was past lunchtime and yet they accommodated us with open arms. Food was delicious, terrace has gorgeous view overlooking the sea, and the staff was kind, helpful and courteous. What's not to like? Fantastic value. We paid a few pounds more for a "superior" room and were given room 17. Two balconies, with wraparound views. Certainly not a £50 view!! Can't rate highly enough. Right on the causeway so very convenient. Spent a very happy afternoon just sat on the balcony taking in the view.

Fantastic location and the view of the ocean from our room. Breakfast was super good, the best one during our trip in Greece. The property is not new and there was some smell of old wood in the room. I hoped to use the fireplace as it was cold outside but they didn’t have wood, so it was disappointing.

Our room at klelia hotel was nice clean and comfortable, with a sea view balcony. The hotel has a good position from the centre of Gefira (about ten minutes walk) and from Monemvasia (about twenty minutes walk). The lovely girl at the reception is extremly kind and professional.

Great hotel, great location, the best people. We had a realy good time. Hotel is close to the center of the new city of monemvasia (3 minutes on foot) (and 10 to the castle). Our room was big and comfortable and the owners made us feel at home. I now this may sound a bit cliche but it's just the truth.
