Excellent option when visiting Monemvasia. The hotel is new and modern with wonderful amenities. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our holiday was a memorable one. Fabulous stay at this hotel in August 2025 with the family for 7 nights. Ioannis, Sia and Angelika couldn't have been more helpful during our stay and the view of Monemvasia is breathtaking! We went to Monemvasia for the New Year as a group celebrating a birthday. It was truly magical, the staff were all friendly and super helpful, the location is stunning and the atmosphere is like something out of a fairy tale. Our room was perfect for our requirements and we thought it was very good value.

Accommodations inside the castle. Very close to the entrance. Reasonably priced. Full and excellent breakfast was included.

This is my favourite hotel in the whole world. The rooms are spacious, beautifully and charmingly decorated and furnished, with great attention to detail. Everything is very clean, and everything works. The breakfast is amazing, and all the staff are lovely.

Stayed for 3 nights.The only downside to staying in Monemvasia is that you can not park immediately next to the hotels. A free car park is available approximately 1k away & a bus service runs to the gates every half an hour on the hour, costing €1.50. We absolutely loved our time there. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful, and the service was great from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, the room was spotless and cozy, and we especially loved the sea view from the balcony. The moment we walked into our beautiful room on the ground floor, we felt at home! The hostess is very kind and took the time to make sure we understood how to manage the lights and hot water switches. The location is excellent - right on the edge of a small green space next to the fortress wall, overlooking the sea. We only wish we could have spent more time in there to enjoy our room!

A unique experience in a traditional guesthouse. Good host. There are lots of stairs around the property which adds to the charm in a very unique location. A level of fitness is required and don't take too much luggage!

We had a nice stay at Hotel Panorama. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Be aware that there is no elevator, but you can drive around to the back of the hotel to bring your bags in which makes it much easier. We would stay here again if we are back in the area.

We had a spacious and comfortable room with a large balcony and beautiful view.

Great hotel, lots of room in suite, beautiful terrace with chairs/table overlooking the sea and Monamvasia; plenty of parking on site. Only complaint no Nespresso in room and coffee downstairs sub par. Very nice staff!

Beautiful view of monemvasia, nice breakfast, friendly staff and easy parking (a real parking lot). We found the bed to be quite hard. Also, the water in the rooms had a bit of a sulfur smell.

A small but nice hotel, especially since it has a Saltwater pool and the Sea is possibly 50 meters away. They handle the covid19 problem with success, especially for breakfast. The appartments were clean. The employees were friendly. The location was superb. But it was overpriced and this droped my rating by a star. I do not know if the overpricing was due to booking.com but we payed to much for the room.

Beautiful views, lovely property offering everything you would need. Only problem was total lack of signs on property. Sign just says Villa Plus on a very very small sign on a public lamp post. Eventually after a couple if hours git hold of local rep who we met up nearby and he showed the way. Really must get a villa name plate on the actual gate at the main entry!

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The area is gorgeous!! One can walk everywhere. I loved the view of the Rock from the balcony. The beds were not very comfortable. I had great difficulty finding it at night as the sign is difficult to see in the dark.

The experience of staying within walls is something else. Monemvasia has managed to capture and maintain the feel of an ancient fortification while giving one the comforts of modern civilization (indoor plumbing!) This is a one of a kind stay! If you are visiting monemvasia, you should be sure to stay on the island inside the fortress. We loved our time here! Great hiking up to the church on top of the hill, beautiful views, such a unique little community. We loved our stay!

Super location on the island! The room was very nice and a bottle of wine was left for us. The host was fabulous. He went out of his way to help us with the wi-fi, directions, and other items. Definitely recommend this lodging.

The hotel is well situated. The views are amazing. The swimming pool and the sea are good for swimming and lounging. Make sure to stargaze at the swimming deck in the sea at night! Staff are nice hard working people.

The place was empty and it was past lunchtime and yet they accommodated us with open arms. Food was delicious, terrace has gorgeous view overlooking the sea, and the staff was kind, helpful and courteous. What's not to like? I would definitely recommend not only the restaurant but the hotel too, which has a swimming pool.

The location gets 5 stars. Right by the sea with a lovely deck so you can go swimming. The disappointment was breakfast. Of course there was the difficulty of Covid with no self-serve buffet allowed, but what we were served was poor (some slices of white bread along with little packets of jam, butter, honey), white toast with ham and cheese, a thin omelette and a pancake with chocolate spread, yogurt...

Wish I had stayed another night at least, nice room and balcony, decent bathroom. Modernised quite well - decent value for money. Great location and view. Additional cost breakfast not bad. Fantastic value. We paid a few pounds more for a "superior" room and were given room 17. Two balconies, with wraparound views. Certainly not a £50 view!! Can't rate highly enough. Right on the causeway so very convenient. Spent a very happy afternoon just sat on the balcony taking in the view.

Small room but great location if you’re just staying for one night to see the island. Room gets a little noisy in the evening as there is a pub downstairs. Other than that it’s a value for money place to stay.

Fantastic location and the view of the ocean from our room. Breakfast was super good, the best one during our trip in Greece. The property is not new and there was some smell of old wood in the room. I hoped to use the fireplace as it was cold outside but they didn’t have wood, so it was disappointing.

Our room at klelia hotel was nice clean and comfortable, with a sea view balcony. The hotel has a good position from the centre of Gefira (about ten minutes walk) and from Monemvasia (about twenty minutes walk). The lovely girl at the reception is extremly kind and professional.

Great hotel, great location, the best people. We had a realy good time. Hotel is close to the center of the new city of monemvasia (3 minutes on foot) (and 10 to the castle). Our room was big and comfortable and the owners made us feel at home. I now this may sound a bit cliche but it's just the truth.

Clean, cheap, friendly staff and very convenient location. Can be a bit loud in the morning.

No protection from the Sun, no breakfast (the claim of the basket is ridiculous), and next to a noisy spot of the main road. Other than that, it's relatively good for the price, clean, and with a mosquito net on the window.

Rooms are clean and comfortable! Monenvasia is 15min walking distance and there are plenty of parking spots around the place. Recommended!

This small hotel is conveniently located just a stone's throw from the Monemvasia peninsula. The rooms are admittedly a little outdated and could benefit from a refresh. However, we loved the peaceful surroundings and the small terrace where we enjoyed breakfast.

I had to cancel my stay at short notice due to a health complication. Sempre Viva Suites refunded me in full even though I was outside the cancellation window and they didn’t need to. I appreciated it so much and think it is a wonderful reflection on them. We will visit next year and this hotel will be first on my list!
