The food in the main and a la carte restaurants received positive notes for taste and variety, especially the Greek corner dishes and pool bar snacks like gyros. Cleanliness of rooms and public areas was frequently highlighted, with the hotel described as spotless and well-maintained. The pools were appreciated for size and cleanliness, including a children’s pool which families found enjoyable. The hotel’s animation team was commended for engaging guests and children with activities and aqua gym classes. This is a nice hotel but not worth the money we paid. Snack bar has gyros, burgers, pizza and chips that you ask for. Staff are not friendly. Gyros has2 different types of meat but I'm not sure what. No branded drinks included. You have to pay extra! When I come to a 5 star all inclusive I don’t expect to have to pay for anything… isn’t that the point in ‘all inclusive’ Drinks served in paper cups at the 'beach bar' which shuts at 6 sometimes 5. Most cocktails are disgusting. At the main bar we asked for a cocktail (negroni) to be made, using the ingredients they had and was told no, so had to ask for each of the ingredients separately and make it ourselves! Beach sand and shingle - take beach shoes - nice once you are in, warm and clear Beach is part of at least 3 other resorts, if you have read anywhere that there is windsurfing and water sports this is not true and solely for the other resorts. We went and asked and were told no, even tho it is right on the beach that is part of Asterias. If you book a suite you will be right by the beach but don't expect to have the sea view you have paid for... we had a view of a hedge !!! Absolutely shocking for the extra we paid. The hotel is in between two other hotels that share the beach and will have to listen to loud techno and karaoke music as they do their exercise classes . Entertainment 1st night was bingo that you have to pay for !!! ( this is meant to be all inclusive and we are paying for entertainment ??) cost us £10 euros for 3 people. Prizes were animation t shirt or bottle of Prosecco when drinks are included anyway (unless you want to pay for a nice drink) 2nd night Greek traditional dancing and music, encouraged to get up and do Greek Conga. Restaurant had nice food and always something tasty. Breakfast is usual European stuff. No good cereals for teens, no donuts or Nutella just their own chocolate sauce. They Don't make omelettes with varied ingredients, just make them themselves and then tell you to take one. Hard to get someone to come to your table to offer a drink at meal times and no wine, beer, fizzy drinks to help yourself to, only orange, pineapple or apple juice. Usually have finished meal by the time you can get someone to get you a drink. Only house wine or fizz on offer which is both disgusting. The food is very good tho and was the best part of the holiday. Remember to visit the Greek corner as the food here was also fab with rabbit stew and octopus. We came here as wanted a junior suite with a sea view - paid over £1000 extra for the privilege and were given a view of a hedge !!! This really let the holiday down for us as it’s just ironic that we paid to have a sea view and didn’t get it. Lots and lots of bugs in my children's sink, seemed to go when we sprayed insect repellent. Some sort of nest of maybe a hornet or a bird or something outside our rooms, really gross to see each time we go out the door. We were put where the staff have all their cleaning gear so woke

Honestly most things were ok. But for what we paid I’m not sure ok is ok. There were cleanliness issues, dead ants not cleared up after their run in with a fair amount of insect killer , repairs that hadn’t been completed like the hole in the back of the bathroom door. Entertainment was again ok the guys were very friendly and at least tried. The bar at the pool in the daytime was good , didn’t have to wait long to get served and the girls Lilianna and Panagotia were very lovely, friendly and chatty. Food at the pool bar was good as well. The buffet in the main restaurant was very good to be honest loads of choice. Drinks in the main bar at night is where it all came unstuck , if you got in there at 8 and left at midnight you would have been lucky to get 2 drinks and they were not good when you got them. Table service was non existent but if you went to the bar the guy behind it scowled at you. I’ve run bars for 26 years so I’m not saying they were not trying, but something definitely needs looking at. Just maybe get rid of the 2 lifeguards that spent all day hiding behind the bar at the pool and have 2 more bar staff at night , just a thought. As I say thanks to the girls on the pool bar and the animation team and we did enjoy our stay as a group of 6.

The room - spacious and overall ok. For the hotter months you need to request additional room keys so that the air-conditioning stays on. The third bed in the room for our daughter was tiny, ideally should be larger. Drinks - all the traditional cocktails were terrible, we couldn't drink them. Stick to the beer, easy mixers, and if you like coffee ask for a cafe frappe with Irish cream. Food - was ok. Nothing to phone home about it suppose but all edible and nice enough. Pool - pools were good, large with a kids pool which my daughter had great fun in.

Well..where to start, first off, this resort is not a 5*. It may be on paper but for service and variety it is not. On arrival you only get one bottle of water in the fridge for a Junior suite with a private pool room. That can be refilled at a cost. No soft drinks or anything else in the fridge which you get in other actual 5* resorts. Also drinks a lot of the alcoholic drinks are held behind a pay wall for simple things like daiquiri drinks costing 7.50 in euros for one. This again is an additional charge for something that's included as all inclusive in actual 5* resorts. The resort itself is beautiful. The grounds are well kept and the rooms are clean and spacious, the cleaners are the star of the show and work wonders. Onto the food.. The food whilst nice enough gets very repetitive very quickly. Breakfast is the same offering each and every day, mostly catering to the Germans on site, so get German sausage and omelette of the day eggs and two trays of bacon. The space used for the hot food is massively under used and the same 4 items are mostly put on both sides of the hot food counter so no variation on foods. This is also the same in the evening for the main restaurant food and the same hot food is put on both sides. It seems pointless and was the main reason we ate out 5 nights of the 10 night stay. The Ala carte restaurant was lovely but you only get one visit per stay and it's a strict set menu. The lunch pool bar for food was honestly the best in the place the Gyros were amazing and the staff helpful and friendly. There is no pool side service or beach service or even room service for the beach front private pool rooms. Unlike actual 5* resorts you usually get a scan to order a QR code for drinks. Service in the main restaurant was for the most part fine. But on some occasions when we brought back a plate we had nobody to come take our old plate away. We also felt at times the service was the same compared to those who spoke German. Entertainment in the evening was basically non-existent with bingo and a karaoke night here and there. There is really only one main bar for the whole resort which is across from the main restaurant/buffet restaurant. It gets full quickly and noisy full of smoke most times. The resort could be doing with opening another bar for a quiet experience. Near the pool or on the beach etc. The beach was fine, I would say the beds on the beach seem old and one broke when I sat on it. They also would be good to have the wood walk way cover the length of the beds and beach so your able to use that to walk to a bed. The beach bar is fine also but again very under whelming. It could do with a massive upgrade, put some woods flooring down around the area and tables and chairs and lights, could be used for a beach vibes area more chilled. The walkways on the resort badly flood when heavy rain comes down, resulting in having to walk on grass which is also soaked or get your feet submerged in water. The wo

This was my first visit to Rhodes & we both really enjoyed our week at this hotel. The whole complex is spotlessly clean & to be honest we couldn't really fault anything ( & my partner is fussy). We had a sea view room which was above the restaurant & across from the entertainment but it wasn't noisy & was the right spot for us. I suspect in high season it would be too noisy though. The room was spacious with a good sized bathroom & super comfy beds - slept well the whole week. Every day the room was cleaned thoroughly & cups changed daily as well. Reliable air con & hot water. September was the perfect time to visit - there were always sunbeds available & the hotel seemed to only be half full so no long queues for anything either. I do understand some comments about the food - if you're not keen on fish, beef or pork you may struggle with the choices available, however, I was more than happy with the food at every meal & so was my partner - he also loved the gyros served at the pool bar where there was a good selection of snacks & salads all day. Big thank you to Thea & Marina in the restaurant, both lovely who had hugs for me every day. Thank you also to Panagotia at the bar & the pool bar. All the staff are a huge credit to the management - they all work so hard & were always friendly & happy to chat. Thank you all for a fabulous week & we plan to return next September

We had a wonderful stay at Asterias Beach Resort! Everything was spotless and well-organized, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Special thanks to Christos, Alex, Georg at the reception and Marina and Mariaelena from the main restaurant. Highly recommended! 🌊

We are unfortunately leaving this evening and have to say that we have had a fabulous stay. All the staff from the bars, restaurants, to cleaning ladies have been amazing. We were fortunate enough to have a room overlooking the ocean which was kept spotlessly clean. The beach bar was nice with a few shaded seats to escape the sun when needed and the barman always smiling and chatty. The pool bar was lovely and the pork wraps were fabulous for a snack.. The main restaurant has a nice selection at meal times and we can honestly say we never had a bad meal. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Rhodes with the benefit of it only beans approx 40 minutes from the airport. If returning to Rhodes we would 100% come back to this hotel.

Not a 5 star luxurious experience.
This hotel would make a very good 3 star hotel, 5 however I can't agree with.
Drinks are tasteless and food reused between lunch/dinner, same every meal time and no heat or freshness to meals.
I understand 5 star hotels can differ in different countries, but I have stayed in many 5 stars in Greece, this is comparable to a 3 star. Positive point from stay is staff in restaurant are lovely and cleaners also nice and do a great job.
