Lava suites in Fira

This hotel has an amazing location with spectacular views. Everything in Fira is within walking distance. The rooms are spacious but.... the cave suits can not be recommended. The sleeping room is in the back with absolutely no ventilation. The entire suite s without cell coverage or wifi. When we asked for help on our issues the answer was pretty much that we booked the cave suits and are to blame and nothing can be done.

The photos you will find are photos that were taken 6 years ago (say Zoé the receptionist), in the meantime the hotel closed and reopened with other owners, the hotel is totally degraded, mattresses recovery... the room was damp, smells bad, no curtains, no shutters and bathroom, the furniture very dusty. Poor service, when we arrived we had to wait outside until the room was ready and we were not served a glass of water. The Server is not friendly at all, kept completely unsuitable for the service, he serves lunch dressed as a gardener, and moreover takes breaks during breakfast. Breakfast is the same every day. We don't know where to dry our swimsuit or beach towels. No small outdoor table and chairs. No nightstand… Also there is no one in the hotel at reception from the afternoon. Above all, do not ask for the transfer to take your Ferry or plane to the hotel, from the flight, we were 20 m away and the bus left in front of us, because we were 3 minutes late and the hotel did not bring us the suitcases to the minibus in order to save time. No service. So this hotel is a scam. Above all, don't go there. Theft!

The scenery is not as seen in the photos, the sea is blocked by the front wall. This place is highly not recommended! The attitude of the front desk also wishes them a prosperous business!
