Description
Fira the capital of Santorini, cultural and tourist center of the island. The city is located on the Western coast of the island, on the Caldera cliffs opposite the volcano.
In Fira you will find museums, galleries, major shopping centre, a choice of restaurants and entertainment.
Across town there is a street that originates from the cliffs of the Caldera near the mayor's office and ends on a hill at the conference Center of Nomikos. The volcano can be observed from any point of Fira. Sunset in Fira is watching all of the city's population.
