The Majestic Hotel was the prettiest hotel we stayed at in our time in Greece. The pool is sooo relaxing, breakfast was delicious, and all the staff at the restaurant and bar were the sweetest. The rooms were also a really nice size and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

The location is close to the main areas, so a short walking distance, however far enough to experience a quiet, peaceful views away from tourists. The five stars are not enough for what it offers. Amazing rooms-villas on the cliff, Caldera. There is a pool that starts next to your bed and ends at a window with unrestricted views of the volcano. I would’ve ranked them higher if I could... the room looked even better in reality than in the photos, the view is superb, the location is great- right in the center and Maria made us feel at home. Stayed for 5 days in July of 2016. It's located over a main road of the island, but it's not close to Fira (at least not a walking distance). At the time of my stay they offered a shuttle van to Fira every hour. The breakfast options were amazing, I will never forget their Greek Coffee. The view and sunset is what they are famous for. Expensive, but totally worth it in my opinion.
