Daydream Luxury Suites in Fira

We spent part of our honeymoon at this hotel, and it was phenomenal. The view from our room was incredible — we could watch the sunset right from our window. It’s located in the center of Fira, so restaurants, shops, and activities are just a few steps away from the hotel. Highly recommended! The room was clean, the staff was extremely friendly, and the breakfasts served to our room were something we absolutely loved. We highly recommend this hotel. Physics. Undoubtedly the property is facing the Caldera Sea, or the Aegean sea, making it Instagram appealing. However be prepared to climb the 80 narrow steps stairsway to reach the exit. Your choice.
Privacy of the room is mediocre, as u could see is just next to the stairs., unless u lower your blinds all the time.
Be ready to read all the instructions issue to u, or risk no housekeeping. Staff could enter your room to leave u a note, or a drink, but will not clean your room automatically for the name of privacy.
The deposit is Eur500 cash or credit card number with cvv, u choose.
Chemistry. Don't argue with the manager, he is always right. So save your vacation by playing dump.
Rooms. the cave without a view is huge, like 800sqf. the room with view is small, like 200sqf.. Think there' are 2 caves and 6 with view.
Breakfast is sufficient, taste well, serve outside your room.
Internet is available, download speed about 10Mbps, upload is about 5Mbps.

The service was excellent but remember to contact the front desk prior to arrival for portering service if you have large luggages.

Vladimir, the host, was very friendly and helpful. He has plenty of recommendations on activities, restaurants, bars, car rental, etc. Great breakfast options are brought to your room every morning at the time between 9 and 11 you request. Note that you communicate breakfast orders, questions, and provide check-in info via WhatsApp. The pictures are accurate, the rooms are huge, look amazing, and are very well appointed. The view from your terrace is like something from a postcard. The location is right in the middle of everything, the historic town center, stores, restaurants, historic sites, everything and a short walk from the bus station. Just note that its location in the ancient town center does mean accessing it on foot (with suitcases) will require traversing a lot of cobblestone streets, steep inclines, stairs, and the steps within the hotel are quite narrow and steep. While quite challenging with our bags, it was worth it for the views and location!

Travelling from Australia we spent 3 nights at Modernity Suites in a Jr Suite (Calandra View). The view we woke up to each morning was amazing, as was the service provide by Vladimir & the breakfast provided. The suites are very well located, including being near the bus station for ease of travel around the island for 2 - 2.5 Euros. We would highly recommend the Modernity Suites for couples travelling to Santorini. [Paul & Jodie - Adelaide, Australia]

Be careful when carrying large luggage: you have to go up and down the stairs to get to the hotel. There is a small swimming pool, but it is very windy. I placed an order the day before and breakfast was delivered directly to the room the next day. It was pretty good.

Absolutely beautiful! The staff are amazing! I spent 4 days here, they were incredible and attentive! Absolutely perfect to get along with! Vladimir is the best! The rooms are gorgeous, the AC saved my life most days lol. I had a beautiful view of the sunset every night from my bench/ jacuzzi. The suites are located in the perfect spot, you're maybe 3 minutes from the McDonald's where the taxi brings you to and from the airport. Roughly 4/5 minutes from the city center/ bus stop. There's all kinds of shops and restaurants all around, even little markets and pharmacies are close by. The donkeys are just below you, you can see them from the rooftop hang out spot!
Honestly, I couldn't have picked a better place to spend my time in Santorini. Highly recommend!

The hotel facilities are average, the room is located on the bottom floor, and the view is average.
The water temperature of the private jaccuzi is not hot enough.
The breakfast is quite rich!
The overall experience is average!

Rafail is so nice, friendly and helpful! The hotel environment is comfortable and the scenery is great. The service is very good and the staff is friendly
