Amaria Beach Resort in Kamari

We stayed here in August 2023 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, well furnished and equipped.
The breakfast was pretty standard, but it did change every day with what was on offer.
The staff are fantastic - so helpful and welcoming.
The hotel has its own private beach and sunloungers, which is where we spent most of our time. However, we found there were plenty of available spaces around the pool and the decking area, we just chose not to relax there.
It's about a 20 minute walk into Kamari, or about 5 minutes and €20 in a taxi, that the hotel reception will organise for you.
It is near the airport so there is a bit of airport noise. However it's about 20 seconds per plane landing/taxiing. We found the planes were louder in Kamari as they were coming in to land. I think if you're staying on the east side of the island, you have to expect some air traffic noise. That being said its a small airport, so it's not like there's planes taking off or landing every 30 seconds.
Whilst it's a family friendly hotel, there's not a lot for kids to do but I think that's across the island to be honest.
All in all, a beautiful, friendly hotel. A little bit out of the way if you want the bustles of a busy village, but close enough that you can be in Kamari in minutes if you want to be.

A magnificent hotel with a fantastic atmosphere, excellent service and superb food.... Everything you need for a holiday in the luxury of a 5-star hotel....

Great hotel, but close to runway/Airport which can be a + or - depending on your view. Reception very good/helpful (Kristina).
We were on 1/2 board. Breakfast buffet served our needs, as did Stella, Sophia & Panos who made the the start of the day good. Easy access to beds around the pool if you made the effort to get there. Evening meal was buffet, again very good quality (thanks again Panos). Staff were a delight & very friendly. Others wi probably have some gripes, but we loved it 😀

The rooms and facilities were brilliant. To be so close to the beach too was a massive bonus. We spent most days at the beach as there was nice breeze. Rocky beach but smooth pebbles. A handy jetty to help get futhsr out. The pool was really nice but the usual issue of people saving beds and not enough to go round. Staff did try and keep on top of this and remove towels after a while. The staff were fantastic. Always there to help and to serve, always smiling and welcoming. It is cloae to airport so expect aircraft noise, however the hotel is very well designed that you dont realise you are so close when no aircraft taking off or landing. We stayed in a luxury suite with a hot tub which was very nice.

An amazing hotel. Pool was great. But the best thing about this hotel is the staff, from cleaners , breakfast staff , bar and restaurant waiters were all exceptionally efficient and friendly.

Myself and Missus loved this place,the staff was brilliant the chefs also and I was very lucky to meet the owner for few words(super gentleman).And finally a big THANK YOU to MARIA who was looking after us at the bar during the day, we had good fun and she had a great personality.

Staff have been wonderful and the food has been decent. The pool area is fantastic and probably one of the best on the island. Bedrooms are adequate. Would recommend going full board to save money.

Best hotel staff i have ever met. Superb service.
A little isolated and noisy from the airport but the staff more than made up for these problems
