Lovely, affordable hotel. Clean room with fresh towels. Although the rooms are small, the view from the room is beautiful, I stayed in the courtyard view room and it was not too bad. The pool area is relaxing, staff are friendly and they serve traditional greek items for breakfast. Variety of options to choose from.

Great location to walk to the beach and many many shops/restaurants! The breakfast was amazing and the two pools were incredible. Bar and front desk staff was incredible. Beds were firm and there were many ants on the floor in our room but overall, it was a positive experience staying here!

Very nice place to stay in Santorini. We spend there one week in August. The owner is rally nice. Our room was cosy and clean. We also had breakfast (5EUR per person) there, they were quite big, yet repeatable. Even though the airport was close, you can hear the planes only when being outside. The pool is clean and there is a lot of sunbeds.

I wanted to give the hotel a 4.5 star only because our room (Junior Suite) was a bit tight. Ultimately decided on 5 because it was newly renovated in 2016, clean, washroom was spacious, it's a quick walk to Pyrgos (so beautiful) and the manager, Christos, was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was just okay but enough for us. Overall I would be back but I would book a bigger room.

The room was very nice and clean, with a large terrace outside, not far from the coast. There is an outdoor swimming pool, which is very clean. There is a car to pick up guests to the city center regularly. I will choose this hotel again next time I travel.

We adored our time staying here! Travelling for 6 weeks (and with a toddler) our breakfast with that incredible view was honestly a standout of our entire journey! Nicholas and his colleagues were wonderful and we thank them for making our stay on Santorini magical.

Lava Suites is perfectly situated in Fira, out of the Centre but very close to it. The hotel itself although a little run down has great views from the communal area (and one of the suites) but has fantastic staff that make the stay very pleasant.

We had wanted to visit this hotel for many years and it was well worth the wait. From the personal touches, the amazing team, the views, the sunsets and the location perched on the cliff just on the edge of all the action, it was hard to leave the balcony to explore the island. Only 7 rooms so never felt crowded and its location is not quite overlooked like many of the other hotels on the cliffs.

The room was clean but the towels were hard and old. This hotel is not 5 star hotel. I had to pay an upgrade cause my first room with the jacuzzi was not good. Santonero is the definition of understated luxury. The minimalist villas are simple, spacious, and spectacular in almost every way. I loved it! This was my favorite hotel during our 10-day trip. The staff was incredibly welcoming and reassuring. The cleanliness was also excellent. The view from the window of the Sunrise Suite I booked was incredible.

I don't recommend this hotel. Half of the rooms are located in the back, not in the view room, and are located in the basement of the front row rooms. It's not nice to have to go through the garage to get to the lobby. The service is good, but the hotel room type is not cost-effective. There are many options at the same price.
