Margarenia in Perissa

I visited with a friend and it was a perfect break. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are very comfortable and cleaned daily. The breakfast is very good with several options. Angela is wonderful and can’t do enough for you. Highly recommend

Amazing stay at Margarenia, hotel was fresh, clean and stylish. A family run hotel which adds a homely feel. Angela was amazing and so friendly. She provided lots of helpful information on places to visit. Finally must mention the stray hotel cats, they are lovely and well looked after by the hotel.

Had a lovely stay here at the Margarenia. We stayed in a maisonette which was large with three different balconies! One double bed on the upper level and two single beds on the lower. Two air con units one on each level both worked really well. Room was was well equipped and was kept very clean by daily maid service. Towels changed every day. It was beautifully decorated and furnished. Breakfast was excellent with even cooked items such as eggs, bacon etc.. Greek yogurt was lovely. The pool area is stunning. Cool marble stones don’t burn your feet! Sunbeds are very comfy and towels are provided. The whole grounds are landscaped beautifully. Pool bar serves drinks. Lovely ice cold Mythos in a frozen glass! Wifi is very good best download speeds I’ve experienced in a apartment or hotel. It’s free as well! Then there’s Angela at reception. She works tirelessly to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Nothing is to much trouble and her knowledge of Santorini is second to none! She’s an absolute star. We’ll return for sure. It’s a lovely family run apartment complex.

We had the most wonderful stay at Margarenia. Angela and her parents have made the hotel so welcoming, modern and it is immaculate. We had 2 rooms, a double and a triple for 5 of us (3 teenagers, 2 adults) and couldn’t fault the rooms. The breakfast was tasty every day, the pool was beautiful with shade if you wanted it. The location was great, a 15 minute walk to the beach (lots of routes) and there was a local taverna and a coffee shop/small supermarket a couple of minutes walk away. Further down the main road (quite busy, no real pavements but you get used to it) was a Carrefour. There are so many lovely restaurants to choose from in Perissa, by the beach or along the main road. Angela was amazing, such a wonderful host - she gave us so much advice, suggested restaurants to go to, arranged a hire car to be delivered to the hotel for a couple of days, booked an amazing sunset cruise for us and advised us how to use the local buses to travel to Fira. Pool towels were available whenever you needed them and nothing was too much trouble. It was the most friendly place we have ever stayed. We would recommend it to anyone!

The hotel was so beautiful, the rooms were perfectly clean and comfy beds, and lovely pool area with plenty of sunbeds !!!! Angela was so sweet and lovely and helped us with absolutely anything we needed. She gave us plenty of information about where to go and eat as well. There was somewhere to store our luggage on our last day after check out, and Angela offered us stuff to shower as well if we needed as we wouldn’t have access to the rooms. We only made it to breakfast one day out of 6 (hangover) but there was plenty to choose from :) We also fell in love with their new kitten who we named Marge and we miss her already 🩵 Thank you Angela we will be back!!! This was our first time in Greece and won't be the last. We were so pleased we chose Margarenia hotel. It's lovely and clean. The breakfast was good every day with a good selection of food and fruit. The pool area is also great with good comfortable loungers and a nice bar area. There is nothing you can complain about here. The family hosts who run the hotel are lovely people who can't do enough to make your stay wonderful. Thank you George,his wife and Angela for making our stay such a wonderful experience.

From the moment we arrived, the entire team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well looked after. The staff are always happy to help, whether it’s booking taxis, organising trips, or offering spot-on advice about buses and exploring the island. Their local knowledge and genuine hospitality made navigating Santorini easy and enjoyable. The location is perfect—peaceful and quiet, away from the busier tourist areas but still conveniently close to everything. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the beach and just 10 minutes to nearby bars and restaurants. Our room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with every detail thought of. All areas of the property are immaculately maintained, from the relaxing pool area to the bright and welcoming breakfast room. Speaking of breakfast—what a treat! A delicious variety, served in a lovely setting each morning. The pool is a real highlight—calm, clean, and the perfect place to unwind. The poolside bar adds an extra touch of comfort and charm. We truly can’t wait to return to Margarenia Studios. It’s the kind of place you don’t just stay at—you remember fondly and look forward to visiting again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing and authentic Santorini experience.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at the Margarenia Suites in Perrisa. The rooms are spacious, immaculate and lovely balconies to enjoy a sunset or sunrise! Lovely pool area and always enough Sun loungers. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious and the grounds are beautiful. Staff are knowledgeable about trips, tours, car hire etc. A leisurely 20 min stroll takes you to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants. A beautiful place to stay for a relaxing week in the sun!
