Reviews
The room was just ok, I would call retro.
Huge improvement would make the overall experience much better.
The wellness is hardly called wellness. A mini swimming pool and max 8 in the private pool. Not kids friendly if someone would looking for a good place to spend vacation.
Food was terrible, and I am so sorry to say that. I can’t describe better, it wasn’t even ok.
The service was very good, Sachal and Sajith was so much fun, Shalini was very helpful, also the local waitresses gave a very nice service. It was a one of the kind experience.
Staff do no speak any English
Food (Breakfest/Lunch/Dinner) very fat and only meat - nothing for vegetarians (except rice and potatoes)
Food runs out after an hour the Buffett is open - certain food is not refilled.
If you eat lunch waiter serves dessert while still eating main dish. Complaints of customers are not understood due to lack of language capabilities.
Bed is hard and old.
Spa area is ~20 years old
No room service (only after 4 days)
Update: please be wary if you are not a native speaker that the invoices are not in English. Please ask the receptionist to translate or translate yourself using Google translate. On checkout, we were asked to pay tourist tax which I found odd as this should usually be paid on checking in or included in the price based on my previous experiences of staying in Europe. When I reviewed my invoice that I received on checking in and translated it, it appears that this "tourist tax" was already included in the price. This has left a bad taste to this an otherwise good hotel. Hence, I have changed my stars allocation to reflect this.
Simply great accommodation even for family (Rooms 501, 502)
Additional plus: View, Natural Environment, Breakfast, Staff's empathy and helpfulness"
