We had an excellent stay at Hotel Szieszta in December! Traveling as a family, we really appreciated the spacious rooms and the warm atmosphere. The hotel's location in the Lővérek is stunning. It was so peaceful being right next to the forest, yet still easy to access Sopron city center. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options for both adults and kids. We also enjoyed the wellness facilities, which were perfect after a cold day of exploring. Great value for money and friendly staff. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sopron!

We spent 3 nights with my Family there. The Hotel is very retro style but the room were renovated. Room size is normal, but a bit inconvenient for 4 people. (2 adults and 2 small children). That's why the standard room was crowded with the extra bed plus the baby bed. Receptionists and the other staff were kind and polite. The food was quite simlpe. The restaurant was always full with people. We had to wait for free seats and table for a long minutes and stand in line for food also for a long minutes. The choice was a bit poor, so the last evening rather we went out to dinner to a restaurant. We did not tried just only saw the welness, but is seemed to be a bit small one.

I choosed this hotel because is in the middle of the forest, and gave me the possibility for short walks even in this very warm weather. I stayed two nights, the rooms are clean, the staff is nice, the restaureóant is excellent.

Not fancy, but a nice, clean place to stay, with a very helpful staff. Buffet breakfasts and lunches were very good, and there was good cappuccino, pizza, etc., at the snack bar. Restful locations on the edge of town and on the edge of a lovely state forest hillside. I'd be happy to return.

We have juat visited this hotel with my family, 2 adults, 2 children; family room ! Okay, hotel, or at least the room we stayed is totaly retro, BUT, the food was great, superb, grandma style cooking, fresh, we had buffet dinner, not a single word of bad I can say, very friendly staaf; we even tried the lunch menu, it was great, plus child menu, served quickly and fresh, absolute value for money ... Took advantage od local Segway tour, which will stay as a great memory, and chocolate tasting in Soprons famous chocolate shop ... All in all, we came for a weekend, and kids say, they want to come back :) ! Come here to enjoy the surroundings, programs, don't stay in yr room, except for sleeping, and you'll be fine :) (4 points, as the rooms could have been cleaned a bit better ) .

This hotel provided me with one of the most uncomfortable experiences for a long time. Just to list my problems: the room me and my wife were provided was very unclean, downright dirty. When having asked the receptionist to get it cleaned, they did not clean it. We stayed for four days, the bed sheets were not changed, the towels were not changed, toilet paper was only provided on request, the bins were not changed, liquid soap was not available even on request. The bed was uncomfortable, air conditioning was missing. You can rent (!!!) a bath towel from the pool area, it is not provided for free. You have to pay for parking, it is not included in the price. The fridge did not work in the room. The hotel oozes from the wish to make a quick buck on the unfortunate tourist who shows up. The restaurant offers a decent breakfast and a decent dinner. It is also seriously overpriced for the kind of service it offers. Avoid it if you can, I am sure that anything you find in the area will give you a better relaxing opportunity than this hotel.

First impression was horible, because they were changing windows. Halve of hotel has old and first two floors new ones. I considered to cancel my staying there, but at first I took for a walk at surrounding after I decided to stay Finally I was satisfied not just with the nature around but the half board service as well the swiming oportunity included in hotel service in Tómalom and Lover strand completed my experience into good one.

Reviews are not telling the truth about this place .This can be a single experience and not the truth about this place.For us made a good impression with a nice reception ,spoked english and gave us all the advices ,the buffet ( included in the price)was fair and nice not too fancy but we are not in Ritz hotel here,room clean,quiet area ,clean,maybe to shower can be looked after a bit but overall all good.Dont understand the negative reviews .For what you pay it does the job.We will be back.Pool is amszing .

The upgraded rooms are modern, comfortable and fully meet today's needs. The staff is nice and professional in their profession. The food was very tasty, we had an ample buffet for breakfast. I recommend it wholeheartedly! Thank you! We had a great time!

Dirty room, dirty bathroom, shabby, old, broken furniture, disgusting carpet in room and hotel halls full of dirty stain, broken shower head sprinkling water everywhere, broken old disgusting garbage can, balcony disgusting, dirty chairs outside. And the smell within the room: like if you were in a wasteplan. If you don t eat everything at the breakfast buffet, there is a paper saying that you will have to pay for what you leave there, even if you don t like the taste?? By the way, no fridge in the rooms, and we came with a toddler.... is this really a hotel? I would rather say a homeless shelter?breakfast between 8-9 only......Avoid this place!
