We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the location was ideal. Highly recommended!

The Hotel Visegrád is really family friendly, the food is the best, spa is complex, free sauna. I recommend to all. Close to Danube and Visegrad Castle.

This is a very nice and well managed 4* resort hotel, with a great wellness section, attentive service, in a great location on the banks of the Danube, with numerous fascinating historical monuments and excursion sites nearby. There are only a few minor issues that require the managements' attention that would make the experience even better. (1) the wellness section has no functioning clocks anywhere. All wellness experiences (jacuzzi, etc.) do require attention to time, and every other hotel we have ever been to had wall clocks clearly visible in the wellness areas. Not having clocks to check the time does impact negatively on the wellness experience. (2) The choice of TV channels in the rooms is rather limited. In a 4* hotel one would expect a wider selection of both international and local channels. My Hungarian friends tell me that only the government-controlled propaganda channels can now be received. This should be an easily recitifiable issue. Otherwise, our family recommends the hotel unreservedly, and the children really enjoyed the children's wellness and play section!

It is a really great place.👍 The coctail and the foods are delicious. There are cold and warm pool too, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff are kind. There are a lot of programs like boat in the Duna or dinner in the renaissance room. I had just 1 little problem: 1.the elevater is very slow. That's all. 😘

We had an excellent 2 nights family trip. The food was delicious, the wellness is perfect for families with small kids and it is open even after dinner. There are excellent programs like renessaince dinner, bowling competition, movie or wild animals show.

The hotel complex is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, with stunning art pieces throughout. It offers both indoor and outdoor pools, a spa and wellness center, and even a bar serving fresh drinks and cocktails. For entertainment, there are pool tables, ping pong, and bowling rooms, making it easy to enjoy your time on-site. Dinner was good, while breakfast was outstanding—complete with Prosecco for morning mimosas. The hotel manager showed excellent attitude and quickly resolved any issues we had. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with great service and excellent value. Highly recommended!

We were in Visegrad for the Buhurt (medieval style fighting) championships. We chose Hotel Visegrad because it was an easy walk to the Palace grounds where the competition was being held. We travelled to Visegrad by public transport from Budapest airport - and all went very smoothly. We had booked two rooms to accommodate our family - both were clean and comfortable - and the air conditioning was very effective - which was great as it was so hot. Check in and out were easy and the reception staff were helpful - and spoke English. I used Google translate on one occasion. I used the indoor pool a couple of times - and it was grand. We enjoyed the food - half-board (buffet) was included but we also had lunch there, once in the restaurant and once a snack in the bar area. I have a food allergy - and the restaurant staff were brilliant - making sure I knew what I could and could not eat - and even offered to prepare something different if I couldn't find anything I liked. There was quite a bit of choice so that wasn't an issue. I think the hotel was fully booked - but it never felt overcrowded and any of the staff we interacted with were very helpful and polite. A very enjoyable stay in a lovely hotel in an attractive area.

Great spot for a weekend. My wife I had the privilege to leave the kids behind for two nights.

Room great and nice view with a balcony.
Even with families at the hotel we were able to enjoy and relax. Good facilities and good pools inside and out.

Food was good but you would not rush back for a half-board.

All in all we really liked the experience and would recommend for a short stay.
