Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed & as a bonus we had a lovely view of part of the Danube and surrounding hills. Furniture & amenities were of extremely high standard in the lobby

If you’re a foreigner looking for a place with mainly local guests rather than other international tourists this is a great choice. And the view over the Danube river is simply breathtaking

We had traveled from Australia to visit family in Budapest & the opportunity arose to spend some time at this magnificent hotel

We recently had the opportunity to spend two days here at this hotel. Every aspect of our stay made for a memorable experience

The dining facilities were lovely as was the food. There were several indoor pools everyone in our family used and enjoyed. A major plus for families with young children is the high quality children’s play area

I was able to discover many typical Hungarian dishes. Finally, the hotel's wellness area and facilities don't come close to being of the highest quality and cleanliness

) do require attention to time, and every other hotel we have ever been to had wall clocks clearly visible in the wellness areas. Not having clocks to check the time does impact negatively on the wellness experience

👍 The coctail and the foods are delicious. There are cold and warm pool too, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff are kind. There are a lot of programs like boat in the Duna or dinner in the renaissance room

If you stay in the pool area all day and you go for a swim or thermal bath a few times, I guarantee you that your towel is soaking wet. The only positive were the treatments they were giving

The wellness/pool area was very crowded. Lot’s of families with children. I saw children in the thermal baths although that was not allowed. I even saw children running around in the sauna area

We received a towel for the pool area but could only exchange it for another one after 3 nights

On Thursday we finally received fresh towels but still the room was not cleaned

The restaurant was open from 6pm till 10pm. When we arrived at 7:30pm the buffet was already half empty and not refilled. Food was ok but nothing special. It was catering for families with children

When we looked over the balcony of our room we saw pots with plants lying on their side as well as several chairs. Only on Thursday they put everything back up and somewhat cleaned the terrace

Good Spa, breakfast is spot on and you will have your lovely dinner enjoying live music. Thumbs up!

But the service could have been better. The coffee at the breakfast buffet was really bad, which ruins the rest of the breakfast. There was an unexpected parking fee, which we weren’t told about before checking in

Breakfast and dinner were included in the price. It is a true spa with multiple pools and types of saunas. The room was large with a nice desk and a full kitchen. Very convenient to the sights

A newly built section with a huge jacuzzi and a beautiful sauna was open in the afternoon for adults only, and the other section became adults only in the evening hours

The room is quite large and equipped with a kitchen, but the facilities are relatively old. The hotel is suitable for local people to come on vacation

Clean, comfy rooms with great views. There is a nice games room with pool, ping pong and lots of board games for the family to play in the evenings. Located right in nature with lots of nice walks easily accessible

The food is amazing, we enjoyed every meal we had, and the staff is just lovely! Very attentive, kind and patient! Highly recommend, very good pricing and altogether a great experience!

If you can't afford to carry your suitcases in your hand, don't choose this hotel! The receptionist was nice, she told us everything. We spent a lot of time in many hotel rooms but this was the narrowest one

There were positive and negative experiences too. About the hotel and the room: The first surprise is the staircase: you can drag the package up there but you have to pick it up from there by hand

Excellent and affordable accommodation. It is easily accessible and has its own car park. There are many attractions in the area. A few minutes walk to the Danube bank!

The smell of fryer everywhere. The room I received was microscopic, while a colleague received a normal room for the same money. The cuisine was tasty and a big plus for the pool, however, not adequate for the price

The hotel is very good. Beautiful place. It's exactly located in the bank of the river. To slovakia, it's 15 minutes of drive. Foods are nice. For vegetarians, the options are less. Greetings are fine. View is nice

There are some issues with the beds, but I hope it will be changed soon. The staff is really nice and helpful, the kitchen is great. The environment is simply amazing. Reasonable prices, give it a try!

Great hotel, close to the Slovakian border and Danube river. The spa was easily accessible and included in the price of the room. The staff was professional and friendly. Room was clean and had a great view.

We went to Portobello based on a recommendation of friends, who both have 2 kids each. We asked them to recommend a good spa hotel not too far away from Budapest and Portobello came up multiple times

Frankly, there is a lot to love to about Portobello, at least there was for us. The food (we were half board, so breakfast and dinner) is really delicious, especially for what you pay for and the setting

We practically spent 3 full days in the spa area and with our then 3,5-year-old son, we simply had a blast with the all the different options the wellness area had to offer

The staff is very responsive and kind from the beginning when you first contact them online. People from the hotel reply quickly, fulfill the requests and are very reliable

The rooms are a little bit dark, but very confortable. The food is very good, and there is a sauna.

Great place, clean, nice breakfast, friendly staff, air con and fast WiFi. Good value.

It's a neat and nice place to come for mostly package holidays, but it's hard to walk around because the surroundings are too dark and squashed. Luckily, it was good to sell wine in the restaurant.

The big downside is check-out at 10:00 AM. Parking is free (even though the app says it's paid), and it's closed, which is a big plus. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

The island itself was calm and peaceful, especially with the snow in January, and we enjoyed taking the walk every day. There is also a running track around the island, which was a great bonus

Our room was very clean, decent, and beds where very comfortable. There was warm water and heating in our room. This hotel has good connection to the city center, only 20-30minutes away

We were travelling with a wheelchair, and even though the suite was not technically "accessible," everything about it and the hotel was perfect for us: roominess, location (on site parking with easy in-and-outs), five- or ten-minute drive or bike ride from pretty much everything (MOL Bubi bike rental station right across the street, as well as a supermarket), cleanliness, restaurants, room service...

You have to pay extra 12€/day for parking, wich is a bargain giving the fact that Budapest is an extremely busy town, and also we were told this in advance, so we knew this when we chose the hotel

The best location for visiting Budapest. The apartments are fully equiped with all that you need so you can feel like home. There is a private parking and the location is near to 2 bus and 1 subway station.

The location is not far from downtown, and the staff is very friendly. They clean it regularly and the breakfast at the restaurant on the first floor is not bad.

This is the second time I booked this apartment. There are two supermarkets next to it. The front desk staff are also very good. There is a church next to it!

The neighbourhood was quiet and there were convenience stores, restaurants and coffee shops a short walk away. It’s also just five minute walk to a subway/tram/or bus stations

I chose the room with a little kitchenette, but a daily buffet breakfast was also available. There’s also an Aldi’s ( supermarket) next door, which was a nice surprise

Judging from the photos, I thought it was a very old hotel, but upon arrival, I found that the kitchen and rooms had actually been renovated
