Hotel Bonvino Wine & Spa

Central Transdanubia, Badacsonytomaj, 22 Park u. 🧭

Balaton lake shore 270 m

The rooms are definitely not soundproofed as it’s written . Heard some noise from the ceiling room. Wellness is quite good, but very small. Rooms are bit outdated. Need to get refurbished. I found a FLY in my soup during dinner, but no one really cared. “It happens”, they said. 😀. Anyway the food wasn’t really good, meat was dry every evening. Over all, it was ok, but not recommend to anyone. Maybe...

Comfortable hotel near the lake with pool and other thermal facilities.

Service was pretty much fine. Dinner was really good. The hotel room itself wasnt anything special, have slept in a lot comfier beds. There also was some screeking noise coming from the top of our room during the evening.

Long weekend Hotel is nicely located in Badacsony. Close to the lake and ship station. Many restaurants and coffee shops are close.

We loved our two night stay at Bonvino. The hotel is very conveniently located a short distance from the train and bus stations and near plenty of wineries. The spa was clean and relaxing. The food spreads for breakfast and dinner were excellent and beautifully presented. I would return.

The hotel is ok, but compared to other hotels at the Balaton, it’s got room for improvement. The room wasn’t really clean with hairs in the shower and next to the sink. No drinks in the mini bar and snacks wasn’t exactly inviting. The breakfast was really nice, but the evening meal was not appetising at all due to all the meats being very dry. All in all, the hotel is fine for the price.

Great place with plenty of activities for kids, but also relaxing for the adults

Do not have any high expectations- this hotel property is very basic. There has not been one single improvement, enhancement or update since the property was built to any of the common areas the Carpet is thread bare and stained. The balcony exterior is all in terrible condition and the entire hotel requires painting, New carpet & complete updating. Upon entry to the hotel we were greeted by a very...

Nice hotel a little bit dated, good with smaller kids. Food is lovely but no free water with the meals. No kettle or complementary coffee in the rooms

The location of the hotel is perfect. Very children friendly. Staff are very warm hearted 4 minutes walkable to the city center. The sauna facilities is very new and maintained good. The hotel room is a bit small but they offer extra bed. Staff are very friendly. The reception is very helpful and thanks to them. I got the limited Lake Cave boat tour ticket. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Excellent wellness facilities including a cave for therapeutic relaxation. Good choice of food and plenty of it. Love this place.

Fantastic hotel. It's the kind of hotel that might not look the most modern or newest but it has that old-school type of service and amenities that make it the best experience you can have. Highly recommended!

The lady owner welcomed us willingly, even though I made a reservation for one night by phone at 6 p.m. We slept with 2 children in the 80s family room. The staff is very kind and helpful, the breakfast satisfies all needs. Lake Balaton is a 3-minute walk away. I strongly recommend the place, even for those arriving with small children! 😉

Great location, perfect place *****. Prapere You For Digitalisation/Future https://cutt.ly/bb_referal_smh Thanx to Chief & Company, we will be back

Lovely place, close to the lake (2 min by walk) bar and restaurants, homemade and genuine food for breakfast( lot of choice ),clean rooms with comfortable beds and very helpfull and kind management. Definitely the best choice in the area.

The hosts are so nice, friendly and polite! Wonderful house, views and amazing breakfests! Great place for all family - we will back :)

Wonderful location Wonderful people is the best pension on Lake Balaton ♥ ️

Nice room Gate-closed parking. Entrance to Balaton beach included in the rate. Balcony with lake view. Ok breakfast.

Great food, kind service, excellent wellness capability.

The maintenance guy Stepsz was really top of his game, help me out with very odd requests Well done!!!

The hotel location is pretty good. Staff speaks German as well. The rooms are very clean but could use a 21st century update. Unfortunately the towel policy is a bit odd. We got one medium sized towel for the whole stay and a literal table cloth for the pool/sauna which was absolutely useless, after asking we did not receive another towel we could use for the pool/sauna area. If we knew about that...

Very nice people, clean room and great food.

The room is only 3 stars but the dinner is royal! The hospitality perfect and the park is nice. There is inside pool which is also good.

Very pleasant English speaking staff, specially the owner Sanyi (read as Shanyi). The hotel is on the Lake with well kept loan and ladder to enter the Balaton lake. Walking distance are shops, bars and restaurants. I saw signs of a night club not far. The breakfast is good. The rooms are basic. So is the price. Excelent choice for the money.

The hotel is very close to the local strand, has its own restaurant and also has several restaurants in the vecinity. It was a good choice for one night, as we were passing by. We had a rich breakfast. There is also the possibility to have lunch or dinner, menu a la carte, a bar is also on place. The mosquitos really bothered us during our evening walk and on the balcony.

very good restaurant a kind waiter served us even though it was very late, great gulasz

Food was decent, the beach was close. Thats all you need

Very nice people nice ,good food and Ballaton was great and it's not deep ideal for kids as long as they stay near the shore line in places where they have made beaches

Very nice hotel, we stayed for 9 days on a seminar. Clean, good food, nice people. Really recommend.

Arkánum Wellness Hotel

Central Transdanubia, Balatonmariafurdo, 38 Vilma u. 🧭

Balaton lake shore 240 m

Arrived in the heat after a long day in the saddle. Bike parked in the gazebo shade. Greeted with a nice welcome and told if we're out late to use a different door so we can still get in. Very helpful. Great price. Room was large, airy and had a fantastic balcony with a really nice view. An easy walk to the lake and so many places to eat. Awesome in hotel breakfast.

Comfortable accommodation with many services. The staff is kind and helpful. There are many restaurants, entertainment venues, services, commercial units in the area and the (free) beach is not too far away.

Today, July 26, 2025, my wife and I arrived at the Arkánum Hotel in Balatonmáriafürdő – and I can already say for sure: it surpasses all our previous hotel experiences! The service is perfect – every dish is fresh, tasty and plentiful. The surroundings are beautiful and spotlessly clean, with attention to every detail. Elegantly tidy, clean and pleasant place. The staff is very kind and polite.

Simple hotel, very friendly staff. Everything was very clean. Pool with sauna and steam bath. Breakfast ok. Rooms are air-conditioned. So the windows can stay closed and you can't hear the train. Simple rooms with TV and fridge.

We were satisfied with everything. The staff was very kind and direct, the room met all our needs. The hotel is in a frequented location, close to the beach. We were also able to store our bike in a safe, closed place. We look forward to seeing you again!

I had an extremely pleasant stay at this hotel! The rooms are recently renovated. The hotel grounds are green, well-maintained, and create a cozy, peaceful atmosphere — perfect for relaxation. Breakfasts are very tasty and filling — there’s something for everyone. The staff is friendly and attentive. The only slight inconvenience might be carrying heavy luggage up to the second floor, as there is...

Decent but better hotels available. Food not that great at the hotel. Pool was fine, best part was the jacuzzi and sauna.

The staff were exceptional. Now Balaton lake is a very pretty area - the villages along the shore are beachside resorts. We went on a sporting weekend and we understand that this really was the last weekend of the tourist season before restaurants and hotels start closing for winter. We arrived about 1am in the morning as our flight was delayed. Parking on site was secure. The hotel staff had made...

When we came it was quiet because families already left. It is family friendly, so if you look for quite holiday ask the property for the right time.

The breakfast buffet was good. Close to the lake. Clean rooms, very nice owner. Parking on property and the gates are closed over night.

Andrew old-time charming holiday hotel. Good breakfast. Easy to muddy and reedy but of lake. Long walk to restaurants but pleasant under the moon (less so under heavy rain!)

A fantastic stay! Everything is perfect! I was with two children! I highly recommend

We have visited the Hotel several times, every visit was a pretty satisfying experience. Nice hotel with fantastic view about 500 metres from the Lake Balaton, helpful and flexible staff, wonderful dishes, a huge and perfect wellness centre.

Didn't have much breakfast, overall it's just average, under renovation

Beautiful hotel, fantastic location, nice and clean wellness area. Staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant food was pretty decent too.

Nice hotel on a small hill with wonderful view! Close to the lake Balaton and nice regions around the Balaton! Wellness area small and nice, only the whirlpool didnt work. The terrace is lovely to sit outside. But unfortunately...

We stayed here for three nights. There were two good things about this hotel - the view from the balcony was amazing and the kitchen was great! To the kitchen I would give 5* actually. Delicious. The service and the friendliness of the staff are excellent, and the food is also great. Bug no good, breakfast very nice tho hats of to the shefs

Kakadu hotel is situated in a quiet piece of town. There is a gas-station approximately 100-150 meters away. The personnel was very nice and they spoke German and English. Breakfest is buffet type and I found it tasty. I can only recommend this hotel.

Ideal Place to spend a few days with your family close to Balaton Lake. Super friendly staff, very good service for families with small children

It's a very rare case, when I haven't to say any bad word. Actually, I want to thank all the hotel staff and the hotel owners, who provided excellent service and made our trip amazing. Summarised the price/value is not the best. Unfortunately van not recommend the hotel especially in summer time before renovation and climatisation

We planned to spend the New Year’ eve holiday at the hotel. Our accommodation was paid in full in advance. Upon arriving we were shocked about the dated furniture/linen and poor condition of the rooms/bathroom. There was barely any heat in the room, and we were forced to take shower in cold water for days. After numerous complaints the management provided a small space heater which was not enough to...

Thanks for the accomodation, we met with a helpful and cooperative staff from the beginning. We stayed for 2 nights, the bufet has wide selection, prices are not crazy at all! Rooms are equipped as well. Thanks again, we will come back!

We were here in August, leaving with mixed feelings: the room was clean, but since we were upstairs and there was no air conditioning, the heat was unbearable. The discomfort was exacerbated by the stench emanating from the spa, which probably took off from the wellness. The bed was not a double bed, but two sofa beds pushed together, so my particularly sore waist was tortured, but that was more my...

There is a perfect hotel, the sauna is good, there is a separate sauna seance, they cook gently and the surroundings are beautiful.

I came here with my son and wife to spend a weekend away from the city. I couldn't expect more from a 3 star hotel. (Summer price is a little bit higher than winter...expectable). Rooms are good. Service and cattering - lovely. Wellness is very nice!!! Kids playroom. Clean pools. And very nice food! Can only recommend it. Thank you Szindbad hotel, for such a lovely weekend.

The hotel is beautiful. The mens at the entrance are very friendly, they speak English. However, the people working in the restaurant barely understood the room number in English. Moritz is a great host! The place is very cozy and the street is quiet. It is quite uniquely and nicely decorated. There is some great house wine near the reception in the fridge (free)

This guest house is perfectly located in a quiet street just walking distance from the lake. The owner is incredibly friendly and will go above and beyond to make his guests happy. I would definitely stay here again, and Guest House Moritz is highly recommended.

They do not accept credit cards, so be prepared. The rooms are spacious and nice, but with no AC (they have blinds though). The shower is clean, but could do with a bit of renewal. The TV is only in Hungarian. The place overall is nice, in a quiet part of town. Good breakfast, tea, coffee, juice, bacon, eggs, ham, cheese, salami, cereals, jams, milk - only cold stuff, some hot sausages would be good...

A place you'd like to return. Very peaceful. Very friendly and helpful staff. Not far from the beach and a bit more distance to the town center and palace.

Perfect place for staying one night while cycling around the lake, nice rooms with bathrooms, comfy beds and a very rich breakfast.

Positive: - The food is great - The location is very good, around 5 minute walk to Lake Balaton - The staff is very kind and helpful and speaks English well Negative: - Even with full board, drinks are not included at lunch or dinner, not even water - The spa is not very well maintained, and the jacuzzi is fine only if you’re the only person in the whole spa - The water pressure in the bathroom...
