Beautiful Hotel! Relaxing and peaceful!

A real surprise in the city inn, my room was next to the big green park with beautiful Castle view. I had a balcony too. The restaurant is excellent, parking place is FREE of charge, the wifi connection is good in public places and in the room too.

Simply Superb. Excellent in every respect. I have stayed in worse 5 star hotels. All staff from cleaners to reception staff were friendly, accomodating, pleasant and helpful. We attended a family wedding and the staff obviously made efforts to ensure they even dressed appropriately.

I had pleasure of staying in their new rooms, beautifully decorated, extremely clean and fresh. Nespresso coffee machine in the room with quality coffee. Very comfortable bed and quality pillow. Staff warm welcome and very helpful. Only one thing missing no lift for the elderly and would be nice to have a pool and spa

Very wonderful hotel! We stopped by at night with the children. We were met by friendly staff, showed everything, told. The room is large, bright, spacious, two large rooms. There is free parking. Breakfast was included in the booking. The food is very tasty, there is a choice of dishes. Many thanks to the staff, we will definitely come again.

The hotel has a bad smell due to humidity on the 2nd floor due to some guest installing clothesline along the corridor in front of the rooms. I had a clogged sink in my room and there is no support to place the body wash, so when taking a shower you have to place the body wash on the floor. This hotel definitelly is so far away of being a 4 star.

We spent 3 days here with my boyfriend. We were completely satisfied. Friendly reception staff, pleasant and delicious food. The building is beautiful on the inside. A beautiful hotel by the lake with a private beach in walking distance. Great selection of food for breakfast and dinner. The Spa and sauna facilities were excellent and spotless clean. There were plenty of sun beds in the garden. The views from the higher floor windows were stunning of the lake and surrounding area and the rooftop bar was a delightful bonus to watch the sun setting.

The elevators are very slow especially during dinner and breakfast time. We got floor towels instead of normal big towels. the receptionist said they will send us towels but they didn't. So we didn't have any towels. The water was leaking from the shower. The hotel was beautiful but I wasn’t satisfied with any of the services.

This is a very nice, big hotel. The rooms are big and have balconies. Breakfast is very good and plentiful. It has a large parking lot but the location is very poor. It's situated on the exit of the city and it is approximately 2.5-3 km away from the public Strand. The water is at 0.7 miles from the hotel but the beach that can be used and where all the restaurants and shops are situated is far away

I expected more from a 4-star hotel. Food was ok+, but I would expect more choice for a 4-star hotel. Our room door (around the handle and lock) looked like someone had broken into the room in the past. We had a wonderful stay at the Margareta Hotel. Really nice staff and excellent food (we had half board). The room looks a bit older, but it is very clean. We took the opportunity to play table tennis and the children and wife tried a very pleasant wellness. Very strong 4/5 here I only advise you to come if you have children. Upon arrival the staff was exceptionally nice and very welcoming. Spent a couple of days at the hotel that was designated a family weekend, primarily for children. Very enjoyable and a nice atmosphere in the hotel. One moan that our party did not appreciate. We haven't stayed in such a quiet hotel in a long time. The room was a good size with a lovely balcony facing the countryside. Breakfast and dinner were very varied. The outdoor area was beautiful and large with plenty of sun loungers. We highly recommend this hotel.

There is currently a mosquito plague in the hotel; we have never seen anything like it. There are 1000 times more mosquitoes than in Lignano i Lignano.

We stayed there as a family. Because there were several seminars during the week, the garden and wellness area were very empty. It got busier from the weekend onwards. There were always plenty of sun loungers available. Pedal boats and stand-up paddleboards were free. The other wellness facilities, sports, and playground were also great. The food was very good.

Kenese, Akarattyai is very ideal for motorhomes. Very good free parking spaces at the beach, delicious food, tolerable prices in Kenese up to the village, sensational bakery with delicious coffee, wonderful baked goods, fresh hot cabbage rolls, I wouldn't miss them for anything. Very nice hiking opportunities. Overall, two great settlements. We always spend a day or two when traveling through.

It is a well kept property. We loved the longer shoreline. It is very busy but still I did not feel super crowded. Lots of activities are offered for families. Food is great. Suggestion: beach towels. We had to carry our bathroom towels to the beach. The price of the accomodation is quite high. Minimally, the water at the dinner table should be free.

Perfectly lovely stay. Probably not as upmarket as the website makes out - a lot of the facilities feel like they haven’t been updated in 20 years or so. But all perfectly usable and clean, and staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful (and almost all spoke perfect English, and which was a pleasant surprise). We love the location, Watching the sale boats go by was a very special treat! The room and accommodations were very nice and the staff was very helpful. The only complaint was that the air conditioner did not cool the room enough, so we had to open the door, and the light woke us up very early in the morning. I would suggest curtains which block the light so that the guests can sleep late.

Wellamarine has been a blessing for me during the Covid 19 Pandemia. This hotel is just at the lake side. The distance from the main train station is less than one kilometer. Internet wifi speed is excellent. There is a wide variety of restaurants around the hotel but I love the ambience, hygiene and the taste from the restaurant which is located at the lake side. The hotel is probably one of the better ones in the are. It was reasonably clean, both in terms of the rooms and the spa. The tech in the room (like TV) is a bit outdated, no streaming service, just Hungarian free to watch channels. It is a nice modern hotel, with a very kind staff, good selection of food for breakfast and supper. Lots of entertainment opportunities. The only downside of things is that you have to pay for drinks at supper time even as a hotel guest. In most hotels I have stayed at drinks were always included in the price.

My family and I were there in March 2025 for a conference and we really liked it. The amenities were great. The food was always professionally prepared and delicious with some variety. We had an easy time using the extra features like the sauna and the bowling alley and such.

We stopped for lunch and the restaurant service was perfect, the stuff was kind and their local menus were delicious and so tasty.

Rooms very nicely decorated, we liked welness place with jakuzzi pool, swimming pool and other facilities included in our stay. Location great in center, about 500 m from beach. Parking at hotel with cost or around by hotel for free. Breakfast excellent and all day access to hot/cold non alko beverages.

Central to siofok, next to the station. Lovely quirky rooms, amazing wellbeing centre with sauna, steamroom, pool and hot tub! Very reasonably priced too!

Staff is friendly but do have little English so could not help. And did not have information. Free Coffee available all day. Room was not cleaned Aircondition did not work - Room was too hot. Answer was "AC is turned to heat already" ... No option to.open windows. Breakfast was OK Spa is small but OK.

We stayed for 5 nights in the new wing. The room was great — large and spacious. What I really couldn’t understand was that the TV was placed on a stand in the middle of the room, completely unsecured. With a baby, this was extremely dangerous, we constantly had to watch to make sure it wouldn’t fall on him. The room had a kitchen, oven, and washing machine, but no plates, cutlery, or detergent. ...

The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was acceptable. Location is great. The spa was okay too, my only issue is in the hot tub the water could have been a bit warmer. Customer service , by mistake they wanted to charge me for a cake which I never ordered,the receptionist was helpful and he corrected the problem but frankly I say the other stuff member should pay a bit more attention.

5 start from my kid, she loved it, and from me for pleasant stay. Great kids room and food was ok. You always find something u like. Wellness opening hours could be longer.

Overall it was an okay stay. Didn't get the room with the balcony, even though I specifically asked for it. Also didn't get to use the wellness area as it was completely full (mostly kids). Was hard to get a table for dinner/breakfast. The food was decent, expected a bit more to be honest. Not sure I would stay there again.

Itt was an amazenig place and people.

Me and my fiancé had a great experience here, the rooms are super cosy and vibey. The facilities here are placed well as you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Balaton while relaxing. I can honestly say even after 2 nights here I feel refreshed and pampered. One of the staff members, Lia was so friendly and accommodating too which really enhanced how pleasant this destination is.

Room was nice. An arm chair for my husband would have been good since ge sleeps in an armchair. Lake view was very nice

The place is super, beautiful clean rooms wonderful lakefront with own access to boats and fantastic jacutti. Loved it, i can recommend it fully. Food was also nice and sow as the service. They were kind and attentive. I would be happy to viair again.

I spent a weekend here with my family and I really liked this place. It is especially good that it is homely, but still modern and I really liked it, the environment gives the impression of a garden city at first glance, I could even reach the beach within a few minutes on foot. For the first time, I was afraid of the common bathroom, but every day I found it as clean as if it had never been used....

Beautiful and clean hotel with outdoor pool and free sauna. Lake is 5-7 min from here. Staff were very nice and polite. Highly recommend. Only downside was there was no mosquito net in our room during mid July.

I spent a night here, the location is beautiful. There is a pool outside, we were able to use it during night, there is also a sauna. The breakfast was good as well.

This was our second time here. I did not remember that we could here the noise of the trafic from the main street last time. But it was really loud this time. With earplugs it is okay to sleep. The pool was great. Little bit cold. Very nice staff. The breakfast and dinner was much better I expected. The sortiment is not huge but food is nice. The lake Balaton is really close by walk.
