Everything was very positive: the rooms and other areas are clean and tidy; the staff is kind and helpful; the breakfast has basic things, but it is more than enough; there is parking space, but the bus stop is a few minutes walk away

This is a very good place with comfortable, clean rooms, nice staff and professional service. There are a pool, sauna and steam cabins. The breakfast is always fresh and tasty

The bikes were in good condition and we were able to give them back at a different rental location which proved to be really useful

Very nice simple hotel slightly out of the center of Veszprem Hungary. Food is very good, if not elegant and is consistent. Very clean and nicely appointed rooms. I stay here whenever I'm in this area.

Here I ate for the first time frog legs. They were good and also they had a good beer.

Not so good - you can see that they have not so money, but they have a nice floor on reception. :D

Very wonderful hotel! We stopped by at night with the children. We were met by friendly staff, showed everything, told. The room is large, bright, spacious, two large rooms. Breakfast was included in the booking

My room type included breakfast and dinner; the food selection wasn't extensive, but the food was delicious and the ingredients were fresh. The indoor pool water was 32-35 degrees Celsius in winter, so it wasn't cold

The property and all the facilities were good but most of the reception staff were really rude to the point I had to ask if I had done anything wrong to one of the guys as he was speaking to me so badly

The price is relatively reasonable for Hungary. The front desk staff are friendly, especially the younger ones who are very helpful and enthusiastic

We had a great experience staying here! The room and the view were beautiful and we loved the saunas and the pool! The location was amazing as it was very close to the lake and you even have access to a private area by the lake that’s part of the hotel

I didn't experience any elevator issues, as many people mentioned; the elevators arrived quickly for me

The environment is masterfully designed, where the guest can relax and feel good. Among the bushes, there are separate small openings, corners, benches, tables, and places suitable for confidential conversations

The staff is very coordinated, works quietly in the background, the young receptionist is very charming, kind, looks after the guests' interests in everything and is very helpful, she has an almost tangible aura that makes us feel that we definitely have to come back here

My first feeling when we entered was that everything here is there to enchant the guest. Together with its garden, it is an oasis-like island, with wonderful plants, flowers, and trees

Fridge, freezer, water-cooker, microwave ceramic cooker and electric oven are all in. Air-conditioning works efficiently and the apartment is equipped with three units

Also, very spacious, both bedrooms have their own balcony with a view on the pool. The kitchen is moderately equipped and suitable for making easy lunch or dinner

We rented a whole apartment on the second floor to get more privacy. It's very much recommended if you travel with older kids who want to have their own room

The hotel belongs to one of the universities so staying here you also support young people

You won’t get good internet service but you will get a chance to really relax and take some lovely swims and walks

We are returnees to this hotel for various reasons. It is nice and quiet even in high season and has a private Balaton beach. The kitchen staff is very accommodating to requests, and other staff is also very helpful

This hotel is a complete throw back, stay here and go back in time 30 years. The food is hearty, the staff friendly (I got to learn some Hungarian from one of the wait staff)

Their private beach is nice as well, though open to the public, it is never crowded. Really great value for the money! My only complaint, is that the coffee at breakfast is really bad 😀

Lovely hotel by lake Balaton It was wonderful, the hotel is located just minutes from the beach, breakfast was delicious with home backed goods. The hotel has a great wellness area with whirlpools, jacuzzi and saunas

This place is in a great location, within walking distance of the promenade. The rooms/areas with a kitchenette and separate bedroom aren't impressive, but they're sufficient for everyday living

The downsides include a musty smell that's impossible to get rid of, a refrigerator that sounds like a plane is taking off (for light sleepers), and a broken freezer (the ice cream had melted)

I stayed in this guesthouse 5 years ago, but at that time gmaps was not so popular with reviews. I have only good memories about my stay here, I booked on the internet and within one hour I was already there

This is an all around excellent property with personalized service and an exceptional buffet breakfast. Location is on a quiet residential street yet close to transportation and the lake.

We stayed here for two nights. It is an excellent location. The food was first class and the staff were very friendly.

The receptionist is very nice and friendly. The breakfast was of a big variety, but not the best quality. Unfortunately, we had a lot of ants in the bathroom, and the WiFi wasn't working in the bedroom.

A clean and comfortable room, very warm. There is an indoor spa with a heated pool and a sauna, perfect way to spend a cold afternoon in winter! The breakfast was nice and the host was lovely and friendly.

The guest house is conveniently close to the station and on arrival we were warmly welcomed and shown our room which was clean, large and very well appointed. The breakfast was simply fantastic

 The food was good and I was able to select a healthy variety at breakfast and dinner.  The desserts were excellent!  I had a great massage and used the swimming pool regularly

Location is the best part, directly on the lake shore, with a beautiful park in front of the hotel. Otherwise it's good enough, nothing special

Location was good but the private strand wasn’t comfortable. There were no sun beds available for to use, had to rent them which is bad! Should be provided! The restaurant was crowded hard to find tables anytime!

 The hotel was in an excellent location and I rented a bike on 2 occasions to see the sites:  Tihany Abbey and Church, pleasure boat trip on Lake Balaton and a tour of the city

Kind and happy staff. They were very helpful. The rooms were okay at best. I had to have a shower while fully bending over, that was quite uncomfortable. They had 0-24 saunas and a 0-24 outdoor pool.

And of course there is a very good coffee available. The sound isolation is not great. The bathroom did not have any lock inside. Overall I am happy with choosing to stay here

What makes the location perfect is the fact that is just a few minutes walk to the lake. Breakfast was healthy and delicious. Plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. They cook eggs any style you want

But one room really smelled and the second bathroom had a nasty smell! They helped book a taxi- went 7 km to Tihany for $37 US…. A total rip off! Came back by bus for $3

Our room was clean, equipped with air conditioning, television, safe and minibar. The sheets, towels and the bathroom were clean. The room was warm when we arrived, but after a day it was cooled with the air-conditioner

The rooms and the common places were beautifully renewed, the whole atmosphere is elegant and cozy. The breakfast is very good, with a lot of opportunities. Even with kids have got lot possibilities

Cozy hotel with a nice restourant, staff speaks German. It is located right in tge center of Balatonfüred so excellent for experiencing and enjoying the spirit of the town.

It had yoghurt, cereals, whole apples and oranges, jam, honey, cold cuts, cheese, different type of breads, sweet baked goods and a Lavazza coffee machine

When there during the week early September I was the only guest and there was only one elderly man present, who took came of everything, from reception to breakfast. He spoke German, but wasn't very talkative

This is a very nice, big hotel. The rooms are big and have balconies. Breakfast is very good and plentiful. It has a large parking lot but the location is very poor

It's situated on the exit of the city and it is approximately 2. 5-3 km away from the public Strand. 7 miles from the hotel but the beach that can be used and where all the restaurants and shops are situated is far away

There's plenty of parking around the side and it's in a reasonably good location. If everything is so good, then why the slightly average score

I expected more from a 4-star hotel. Food was ok+, but I would expect more choice for a 4-star hotel. Our room door (around the handle and lock) looked like someone had broken into the room in the past

Maybe we were just unlucky because it really was the only such door on the entire floor, but no one at the reception told us about the condition of the door untill we saw it by ourselves

It would be nice to strengthen the wifi a bit and to put at least a basic small kettle in the room so that I could make my favorite tea next time :-) But these are just small details

Very nice hotel, close to the camp next to danubius hotel. Hotel has room where to save bikes. Biking is common around Balaton. Outside pool and wellness also perfect

this used to be the case and is no longer the case! There is also very little to do in the evening! In the evening you can enjoy an aperitif that is free of charge! Upstairs you can drink a cocktail for a fee, which I understand is a fee, but it's a shame that you pay almost 1 euro for service costs! Furthermore, it is wonderful that you have such a large lake and a large garden with lots of shade...

This hotel has probably the best location by the lake and probably the best beach area with large territory and a lot of amenities. It's not worth coming in bad weather though as the wellness area is small and outdated

Service is excellent with skilled workforce and there is good animation for the kids

Very strong 4/5 here I only advise you to come if you have children. Upon arrival the staff was exceptionally nice and very welcoming. The entire bottom floor/lobby/kids play area/ dining is all 5/5 new and very top tier

The rooms definitely are on the older side. They are very manageable but bathrooms are tighter and the overall cleanliness just wasn't there. Lots of hair in our room in carpets and on shelves

Not a big deal but was noticeable. Patio was super dirty with spider webs everywhere. Food and drinks were 4/5 and overall very enjoyable

The lobby and restaurant are very tastefully renovated. However! In the restaurant, there is dirt and cobwebs next to the large windows, on the curtains, and all over the ceiling

We haven't stayed in such a quiet hotel in a long time. The room was a good size with a lovely balcony facing the countryside. Breakfast and dinner were very varied

We were on the free beach in Kenyes. The time and the water were excellent. You can get a delicious flame in the buffet, but you can also have ice cream. We had a lot of fun.

Best Balaton town, closest to Budapest

Because there were several seminars during the week, the garden and wellness area were very empty. It got busier from the weekend onwards. There were always plenty of sun loungers available

Almost everything is a few minutes walk away. The breakfast was also very delicious. Fresh croissant and bun every morning! If we go again, Kántás is definitely it. Oh and there is a 10% discount on their own website!!!

In the morning you can walk to the end of hotel and see lake view! The location is close to attractions in Tihany, the love village. Unfortunately, I just spending a night

Staff very nice, although we stopped just to have drinks. Lots of tables outside. The nearby road is not too loud. Well kept, quiet, fashionable, including the choice of the music (largely raeggae), not too loud.

On the other hand, there is a delicious breakfast menu selected with care and awareness. The cocoa machine was broken, and the waiter immediately made a homemeade hot chocolate for our 8-year-old for breakfast

I didn't actually stay here but I had it booked back in June. I was going to Balaton sound festival. I didn't realise that there was no way to drive from Tihany to Zamardi, that you had to get a ferry

A wonderful smaller hotel, that invites you to relax and be present. It has a warm, sensuous atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is not a large machine like you see in big tourist hotels
