Very pleasant English speaking staff, specially the owner Sanyi (read as Shanyi). The hotel is on the Lake with well kept loan and ladder to enter the Balaton lake. Walking distance are shops, bars and restaurants. I saw signs of a night club not far. The breakfast is good. The rooms are basic. So is the price. Excelent choice for the money.

The hotel is very close to the local strand, has its own restaurant and also has several restaurants in the vecinity. It was a good choice for one night, as we were passing by. We had a rich breakfast. There is also the possibility to have lunch or dinner, menu a la carte, a bar is also on place. The mosquitos really bothered us during our evening walk and on the balcony.

Arrived in the heat after a long day in the saddle. Bike parked in the gazebo shade. Greeted with a nice welcome and told if we're out late to use a different door so we can still get in. I came here with my son and wife to spend a weekend away from the city. I couldn't expect more from a 3 star hotel. (Summer price is a little bit higher than winter...expectable). Rooms are good. Kakadu hotel is situated in a quiet piece of town. There is a gas-station approximately 100-150 meters away. The personnel was very nice and they spoke German and English. Breakfest is buffet type and I found it tasty. I can only recommend this hotel.

If it didn't cost a night in this guesthouse, how much it costed, I would say that it's a great guesthouse, but considering the high price, it's not worth it. The walls are very thin, every night someone will disturb you, and since there is no one at the reception at 10 pm, you have nowhere to complain. Moritz is a great host! The place is very cozy and the street is quiet. It is quite uniquely and nicely decorated. There is some great house wine near the reception in the fridge (free)

This guest house is perfectly located in a quiet street just walking distance from the lake. The owner is incredibly friendly and will go above and beyond to make his guests happy. I would definitely stay here again, and Guest House Moritz is highly recommended.

They do not accept credit cards, so be prepared. The rooms are spacious and nice, but with no AC (they have blinds though). The shower is clean, but could do with a bit of renewal. We were here only one night but received only positive emotions. The biggest pluses from us: 1) for the location: not far from the highway (it is easy to find this place + gas station on your way) 2) amazing air as the hotel is close to the lake 3) playground with trampoline and children's room with different games (just necessary when you are traveling with 3 children:)) 4) restaurant is open 16....

At check-in, there was no disabled parking space available, and as a person with severe mobility impairments, we would have had to walk 36 steps or several hundred meters from the other parking area. The rooms are average, but OK on the whole. Food selection is quite limited, especially during the evenings, and there have been occasional quality issues (e.g. one evening the French fries seemed to be leftovers). They charge very hefty prices for all drinks. Infrasauna not working, the other saunas are OK. The pool is quite small.
