The room I was given was on the very top floor of the second floor, which was too low. The exterior wasn't great, but the rooms were remodeled and I was very satisfied. The menu changed slightly every day, which was nice. I wish there were more activities in the kids' room.

Everything about the hotel is excellent: the location, the food, the cleanliness. I didn't like the treatment, especially the mud therapy. The attitude is disgusting! The receptionists are unhelpful; they refer to the doctor, but you can't see him! So, all complaints or changes to treatment must be made through the doctor, who doesn't exist! I haven't been so disappointed with treatment in a long time

The hotel is located in a hot spring town, not very popular. Many restaurants and hotels are closed. There is only a church where you can take pictures. The hotel has its own swimming pool and hot spring, which opens at 7 am and closes at 8 pm.

I have stayed at this hotel on a few occasions. Whilst it is old the standards are high. Hotel is spotlessly clean and the food is something else. It is good value for money and the spa facilities are second to none.

Very quiet, wonderful quiet garden and lovely outdoor pool. Breakfast and dinner very varied and delicious. Room tidied/cleaned once every 7 days!

Michelin-starred cuisine Service, staff, cleanliness, treatment and therapeutic care, everything is simply perfect! And the food: if a buffet restaurant could be given Michelin stars, this chef would have to get it! Simply Michelin-starred cuisine and service! We'll be back next year!

Everything was very clean. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very extensive and there was a large selection. We were less satisfied with the evening buffet. There is room for improvement.

No reviews since 2018 . . . let's update things in November 2023. The entire hotel has been beautifully renovated and is worthy of a four star rating. The design and architecture are really super and they are currently building a new thermal water spa. All new furniture and great design everywhere. Good parking. HOWEVER . . . . whether Covid has hit them, or maybe they just can't get the right staff...

It's a big, busy (in August), probably late socialist-era resort hotel that's actually quite pleasant. And cheap. There's a holiday vibe. For an overnight stay it's excellent and I wouldn't have minded staying longer. I didn't try any of the many "health"/beauty treatments on offer but they're inexpensive. (The lifts/elevators are few and slow.)

Hotel is nice, staff is nice. Location is good, between two small turist streets. Lots od Thai massages and lovely 10 minute walk to Heviz lake. Our room had a little kitchen, with sink, induction and 4 glasses. No forks, no plates but ok, we payed for room not apartment. The good thing is that breakfast is from 7-10, dinner 5:30-9pm. Bed is cosy and shower is great, good size and good water pressure...

Perfect for a spa break. Spacious immaculate rooms. Thermal lake only 5 minutes walk. Staff were very attentive and explained each food as I have wheat and nut intolerance. Hotel is near the lake which is great. Regarding food, some dishes were excellent, some a little bit less (sweets). Garage parking could be cheaper.

We went to this hotel at early February. We opted in for a half board service for 2 days. We enjoyed the hotel, even though it has an older look inside. We found it to be cosy and beds were comfortable. Spa was okay and the location is great also: closed to the weekend farmers market and shops. Overall we recommend it

I would give it 5 stars of it was a 3-star hotel, but they claim to be 4-star. As a 3-star hotel, I have no complaints about them. They are very reasonable priced. The staff is very polite. The rooms are clean, and it is the closest hotel to the lake. Other 4-star hotels in the area are much nicer inside and have better food.

If you wanna have the closest and most comfortable room to the lake then you found it.

Lovely complex over a lake. Being English, it was a bit surreal to my girlfriend and I. Seems very popular with older people, but was generally very pleasant and relaxing experience. At check-in, there was no disabled parking space available, and as a person with severe mobility impairments, we would have had to walk 36 steps or several hundred meters from the other parking area. The rooms are average, but OK on the whole. Food selection is quite limited, especially during the evenings, and there have been occasional quality issues (e.g. one evening the French fries seemed to be leftovers). They charge very hefty prices for all drinks. Infrasauna not working, the other saunas are OK. The pool is quite small.

The best goulash I ever had in my life and in general dinner and breakfast was amazing. Most of the guests were older people which I personally really like and the staff was very friendly, rooms are nice but as a recommendation renovation would not be bad idea.😉
