Abbazia Country Club in Lenti

Well equipped, quiet resort surrounded by forests. Ideal for guests who like biking, walking in the woods. Beautiful small churches from the thirteens century nearby. Wonderful thermal spa in Lenti, 10 km from the resort.

We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay here. The sauna and whirlpool were a perfect touch, and the staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend this place for a restful getaway!

My wife and I were surprised at the cleanliness of the entire area as soon as we arrived.
Checking in at the front desk was easy - but watch out! There is usually a cat on one of the chairs across from the reception desk. And if you have a hunting dog like we did, you're in for a treat :)

The staff is friendly and courteous and speaks English and German as well as Hungarian.

We booked a room with breakfast. Unfortunately, the room did not have air conditioning, but as it was on the ground floor with old, thick brickwork, it was always pleasantly cool inside, even though the temperatures outside sometimes exceeded 30 degrees.
We were also very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the toilet/shower - we have had very negative experiences with this in other places. The refrigerator too was also absolutely clean and cooled our drinks and food perfectly!

The breakfast buffet is simple, but you don't have to go hungry!
We found the service especially attentive when my wife asked for gluten free bread. Even though it's not written anywhere, the hotel is equipped for it. Every morning my wife received 2 freshly baked gluten-free baguettes - THANK YOU FOR THIS SUPER SERVICE!

The absolute hit (for our dog!) was the newly created dog pool with a fenced in meadow around it.
If it had been up to our dog, we would have had to spend the whole day there with him! He loved the dog pool!
So if you have a dog that loves water, this is the place for you.

We definitely will be back again.

It is located on the border of Hungary-Slovenia, 20 kilometers away from Austria and Croatia, provides a good shelter for excourtion to those countries.

Even though the resort is almost at the middle of nowhere, our family enjoyed the quietness and accessibility to countries like Croatia, Slovenia and Austria as it is near the border. Lenti Thermal Spa is also worth visiting , both for us parents as well as for the kids.

Everything OK.....

This resort had a beautiful view, and every staff were so kind, so we enjoyed staying here. However, though this resort is for long term stay, when I asked a receptionist, she told us a washing machine is broken. And that was pretty inconvenient.

Nice place for a vacation, but if you like to have more adventures it is a little bit away from everything. For a walk you have to go by car min 8km. The nearest bigger town is 20 min away, city Lenti i n Hungary, or 25 min Murska Sobota. The nearest shop is 10 min away in Slovenia, Dobrovnik.
Rooms are ok, small kitchen ok, but no aircondition in the room. We had to open main door and window to get some air ( it is 34 degrees C)
In the restaurant they accept only cash. People are nice.
The massage is great, and Mrs. Ildiko is very good in that, we enjoyed her massages 🌷
There is a jakuzzi, sauna and a pool outside.
It is pet friendly, but little bit too expencive daily rate for a dog.
