This place is such a great place to stay. We reserved accommodation but were unable to stay because the road was closed. The accommodation has helped us very well. We are truly grateful for his help.

Super fast check-in, well equipped, the owner's very helpful and accommodating. The only drawback is that one bedroom has no space for luggage and is really small (the size of bed). Otherwise, everything was great! Highly recommended! :)

Very nice host. Cottage was small. One bed filled the room and we needed to crawl into it. Kitchen is extremely well stocked, even with some spices. Very clean.

The cottage was clean, nicely updated, and very comfortable. The staff at the location of check in were not friendly; and even though they touted laundry as an available amenity, it was clear they disnt want to honornthat. We ended up washing clothes in the sinks at the cottage.

The Old Cottage was a small drive from reception. This proved to be worthwhile since it was beautifully located in front of waterfalls and among trees. Good and clean, very comfortable!!!

The four of us girls stayed in this guesthouse together. The room was very clean, and having a kitchen allowed us to cook our own food. Although breakfast wasn't included, they provided complimentary coffee, milk, and yogurt, which was a thoughtful touch. The staff were also very friendly. Overall, it was a great stay and very budget-friendly. I highly recommend it to travelers.

The very very good to stay here

Everything you need. Clean comfortable beds, clean rooms, new bathrooms, snacks and drinks, well maintained property. Extremely high value, most especially compared to surrounding lodgings. Recommend

The owner is incredibly friendly. It's conveniently located for exploring the scenic northeastern region from Hofn, and also for visiting Diamond Beach to the west.

It's great that it comes with a private shower room for this price. There's a coffee maker with a wide variety of drinks, including lattes and chocolate lattes. Yogurt and cereal are also available, which is helpful. It's convenient that you can use the dishwasher. The owner even cleaned it out himself, which was kind. It would be better if the shower room had containers for shampoo and body wash.

This guesthouse has stunning views, sizable and comfortable rooms, fluffy duvets and pillows. The food is absolutely amazing! Fresh bread, homemade tomato soup, and many other items directly from their farm. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is the best stay we have had in Iceland (and the best food).

Slept like a baby here. Came to see the northern lights, but no luck tonight. Kitchen and bathroom facilities present. Felt like a cute youth hostel, with card games in the dining area, and funny quotes all around the building. Great price too, we paid around 56 eur. Good base to see Stokksnes, only 15 min away.

Cute hostel, great showers. Sink in the bedroom is definitely a perk with the shared bathrooms! Location is a bit out of the way, but great place for northern lights if you get lucky!

Small house surrounded by nature with a wonderful view of the glacier and entirely renovated inside. The rooms are small but there is enough space and the beds are comfortable and clean. Really nice location opposite the small harbour. We stayed in the Studio (1) in winter. The room was clean and comfortable and several restaurants are just a short walk away. There’s a Netto supermarket 450 away and a couple of gas stations in the village. Worth filling up in Höfn if you are travelling either East or West.

We stayed as a party of four in a self-contained studio, so we had a kitchen and bathroom. For one night, the guesthouse was adequate. It was roomy enough that we didn’t feel cramped and the place was kept pretty clean, although I did find a stranger’s long strand of hair on a kitchen towel. My husband and I spent one night at Guesthouse Dyngja and it was one of our favorite guesthouses (we stayed in 7 overall)! The rooms were small but cozy and big enough for us to both lay our suitcases out. The beds were so comfy and the hall bathrooms were sooo clean and tidy. House : Room is very spacious and Kitchen is sufficiently equipped. No washing machine / heater as of date of post. Surrounding : Very quiet , near a lake which offer good morning view. This is a lovely, clean guest house in a beautiful setting. I forgot my prescription sunglasses and the owner mailed them to me in the United States. I really appreciate that she went out of her way for me like that.

The room was clean and the shared facilities were perfectly fine for our stay. The kitchen was very well equipped, which made things easy. It’s conveniently close to Netto supermarket, so grabbing essentials was simple. One thing to note: noise carries from the kitchen, so if you have noisy neighbors staying up late, you might hear everything. Overall, a good place for one night while passing through

Stayed before. All good again. Other guests were respectful with noise and kept the shared kitchen and bathroom clean.

The facilities at Hepburn Hotel are bright, simple and clean. The only downside is that there wasn't enough toilet paper. When we went to the bathroom the next morning, we found that all the toilet paper had been used up. It was probably because other guests took it to the kitchen and used it all up. It was really embarrassing.
