Reviews
1. Smell - a very unpleasant odor, most likely coming from the shower cabin. It disappears for a short while after taking a shower but then comes back again. Even with the windows open, it was hard to sleep.
2. Shower curtain - too long to fit inside the cabin and too long to stay properly outside. Everything gets wet, the bathroom is flooded. Maybe it would be better to simply install a door or a curtain of the right length.
3. Refilled shower gels - I understand it’s economical to refill small bottles, but it would be great if they were filled completely, not just halfway.. Otherwise, better not to provide them at all.
4. Very small sink. But I get it - space saving in a tiny bathroom.
it was the worst. There was barely anything to eat. It was completely lousy.
Koreans, especially, should avoid this place.
A really nice touch was the free hot chocolate and coffee machine in the common area, available from 7 am to 11 pm. The staff even helped us heat up our own food and kindly provided cutlery from the restaurant so we could eat in the common area.
Breakfast the next morning (15 EUR per person) was excellent with a wide variety – cereals, nuts, seeds, spreads, fresh bread, cheese, waffles, jams, and also meat options. Definitely worth it.
Our room was comfortable, with shared bathrooms (shared between 2–3 rooms at most), and the location in the converted barn was unique and charming. Unfortunately, we didn’t get time to meet their horses, but that’s a great reason to return.
Overall, a very friendly place with great facilities and a homely atmosphere. Highly recommend for a comfortable countryside stay.
