Our room was spacious, clean, and was really a self-contained apartment. The room is very close to the airport yet near an area that has everything we needed like restaurants and grocery store. The area is very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Our host, Gundy, is truly an amazing person. She truly cares about her guests and their needs. We plan to use her place every time we visit Iceland. By far one of the nicest places we stayed at and we travel quite a bit.

We only got to stay here one night prior to our flight early the next morning but we absolutely fell in love with this stay. The guesthouses were about five minutes to the airport/rental car drop-off locations and there were grocery stores/gas stations all in close vicinity.
The room was extremely spacious, clean, and well-equipped. We loved how the room was decorated and the little touches and notes from Gudny were so welcoming! One of our favorites was the little handmade sheep that Gudny made and was selling in the accommodation. They got a little squashed in transit but thank you Gudny for our cute Aurora and Harpa ♥️

Very close to the airport, grocery store, gas station but in a quiet area. The private bathroom and small kitchen were great. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Very clean and comfortable place to stay with a private bathroom. The host is very nice and welcoming. Really a self service setup, so dont expect a personal concierge. Has also a kitchen with fridge, is located very close to the airport, and on a quiet street. The ISIS fish wagon is nearby, which makes fabulous fish and chips. Try the hot dog from the nearby Orkan, which is open 24 hours. Seriously good dog. Ace is an affordable and comfortable alternative to hotels.

Worst experience I've ever had in an accommodation.
Place wasn't thoroughly cleaned, we were instructed not to use the huge kitchen for some unknown reasons and the ratio of bathrooms/guests was pretty bad, but it all pales in comparison to the awful experience described below:
We were unfortunate enough to share the place with a violent couple that threatened us for hours on end and even tried to physically break into our room - god knows why and what they were planning to do next. The host was informed of all that during the events but didn't seem to care too much. If you somewhat care about your physical safety, stay away.

Great guesthouse next to the airport.. very useful for early flights 😉.

A sweet and good house if you decide to stay near the airport. Peter is the Lovely Mr. Owner that Pick up us at the airport. Our room was very nice, everything is new and the view of the window is amazing! 2 Big and comfortable beds, a little equipped kitchen like a flat. I recommend this accomodation. The only thing is this house is very far from the Reykjavik, 44km far. But it´s not a problem if you organize your days and tours. So near of Blue Lagoon indeed.

Everything about this place is Ace - starting and ending with the wonderful hosts and including every other thing in between. The location, views, proximity to two grocery stores and pharmacy, cleanliness of the property, and - did I mention the fantastic hosts?! I will be back myself and recommend this place whole heartedly to anyone who's Iceland bound.
