They owner of the building/hotel was a good person who understood and talked english. But he wasn't always available and he was the only who could understand english in the hotel. So there where many miscommunications with renting motorbikes and checking out, because he was nowhere to find when we left.

The rooms where not finished at all and totally blank. There where no closets in our rooms only a big bed with green stains on it and a bathroom with a shower-head and a toilet.

The placement of the hotel is 5 minutes from Ubud's center and the view of the hotel was great.

We paid a very low price for this hotel and for that reason I give this hotel 2 stars

It's a very small room, literally 3 by 3 meters, no closet or hanger, my things were on the floor. No hot water. There is no shelf in the bathroom to put your toiletries. The floor under the bed was dirty. You can hear the noise of a tractor, monotonous sounds from the temple and the croaking of frogs. But the view from the window is wonderful.

Initially booked a room with a closet, upon arrival they gave me a new fresh room without a closet and no space to turn around. I asked for a room with a closet and as spacious as in the photo, but it turned out that the walls were stained, the closet door had rotted and come off, and the closet itself was in terrible condition and stinks, there were stains from some kind of water on the walls. The staff promised to redo everything if I stayed longer. I kept my things in a suitcase because there was plenty of space in such a room. Thermoses for tea and coffee were very dirty, no one was looking after them. In general, everything went very well, if not for the nuances 👌🏼 there is a swimming pool, good location, there is its own parking for a motorcycle, they clean very well, the floors are always clean even on the street side - thanks to the young girl who cleans thoroughly every day. The bed, the bed, hot water in the shower - everything is good. I recommend it. I hope they have already redone everything that they promised, 5 stars 🥰

The staff is very friendly, just know you have to walk down a sidewalk past another building to get there. It is navigable with a motorbike but not by car.

I didn't expect that the hotel has a beautiful pastoral view. It's rare to see it from the terrace. There are also many restaurants nearby with delicious food. I will stay here again next time.

Nice room for the price. If it was a little closer to the center, it would be good

I give 5 stars for nothing that really bothers me here and by this time I am giving this comment, it is the 7th time I have been dining out here during my stay in Ubud. For the place, it suits me because it is more of a homey restaurant. It is not a fine dining atmosphere sorta place or located somewhere crowded thingy and at the same time not being too far from the central. It is also clean. At night the street is very quiet for this area, therefore you can expect coming here with you or with your partner/friend being the only guest(s) if there are no other two or a few people around. This should not be suprising which maybe some people do wonder, I would say it is just the location.

The food alone suits me. My favorite is the set option - fried fish, it comes with a bowl of rice, miso soup, pickles and two other side dish. In general view, should be yummy enough if not super to everyone. But to me it is very yummy and fulfilling. The food concept is more of home cooked food partly, it is not something fine Japanese restaurants will offer but also not like what some casual Japanese restaurants can offer. Which is why, given so, I feel unique. The owner alone is a Japanese man, if I am not mistaken this place was first open in 1997 and he is very nice, very friendly. Usually if he has some side dish that goes well with beer, he would offer us a quick bite and of course, it is free (lol)

And since price thing is relative, so I cant say for anyone. But I would say, if someone is super budget and looking to very "fulfilling" main dish but cheap good food under 50k per dining, maybe this is not on the list unless you just want a single quick meal of side dish + mineral water I guess. So do expect to pay avaragely at least 180-200k (include tax) for two per dining, other than that.. we all pay more. If we are not on budget schedule, I personally don't consider this place as expensive at all. But to be fair, if one is not flexible on price, then I think the drink mostly cost a bit more than other restaurants offer in general. At the end, my thought is being in ubud and miss some Japanese food, this place is worth a try at least. There are not many Japanese restaurants around Ubud, and they all differ in value and taste. But if you want to feel homey and relax from the crowd and into some authentic Japanese taste, you can give this a try perhaps for the ramen served in rich thick tasty curry or fresh raw fish - sushi lover, or try the typical Japanese pizza and more.

Over expectation. Not even a good place to have sushi... won't come back .

If you are looking for Japanese sushi (as opposed to American or Korean), this is the only place in Ubud. I stayed here for 8 months and tried them all, Warung Sushi is the best

I rarely give 1-star reviews. I was so disappointed with this place - I couldn't even finish the majority of the meal, and I was extremely hungry. Even the service was lackluster. It's a shame because I was really hoping to find more good sushi places. I'd be happy to try again and review if it's gotten better.

Nice interiors, but i think that green coating is like a hospital theme atmospheres (just personal impression tho). It have own parking well placed at the back of the building. Food was good 7.5/10.

The place was great, romantic enough to spent with your bf/gf..cozy to hangout with friends or having a good time with your family. It was child friendly. The food is quite good. Many selection of dessert. Millecrepes was my fave.
