Pondok Ayu in Ubud

Value for Money breakfast was really nice

We stayed at Pondok Ayu Soca for almost two weeks and ended up extending our stay even longer, which already says a lot about how much we enjoyed this place.

The hotel is located deep inside a quiet street, away from traffic and noise, but at the same time it’s only about a 5–7 minute drive to central Ubud, which makes the location very convenient.

Our room was spacious with a large comfortable bed, and the bathroom had good hot water and strong pressure, which is always appreciated after long days exploring Bali.

The property has a beautiful green territory and a large swimming pool, perfect for relaxing during the day.

Breakfast was delicious and homemade, prepared every morning by a lovely lady who cooks with real care and warmth. It felt very personal and authentic.

The hotel itself is not brand new, but it is clean, cozy, and well maintained.

However, the real highlight of Pondok Ayu Soca is the staff. They are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. You can really feel that they genuinely care about their guests and want everyone to have a comfortable stay.

Overall, a very warm and peaceful place to stay in Ubud, especially if you value a friendly atmosphere and a quiet location.

Everything was excellent! Helpful staff, nice room, very delicious breakfast. Quit location, but not far from the centre. Amazing pool and view, the territory is charming, green and very well groomed! Hope to return!

The room was huge, but it was too big for us, which made us a bit scared. We were able to get our breakfast packed to go because of our early morning flight.

I loved this place. The staff was very polite, the breakfasts were delicious, and the garden was wonderful. It was very quiet.

My friend and his family stayed at this place, and it was great! The pool was nice, too. However, he said it was inconvenient because he had trouble communicating with the people there and they kept asking for money.
